was in White Plains. had to overnight a package. it arrived at its destination with no problems. the post office is mostly P.O. Boxes--there are a couple of staffed windows where you can mail items, get stamps, and other services. the staff is kinda curt and not very friendly but still professional. solid post office when you need things to get sent out in a timely manner.

The inside is the postal office and the machine was very easy to get my stamps and there was no line. Love this location plus it has a parking lot.

Update: It is 4/5 and my package is still in transit from March 29th from White Plains. I haven't received a call after leaving messages. Thank you White Plains Post Office for doing a stellar job and hiring the best employees who rate #1 in customer service! This place is the absolute WORST. I'm supposed to receive a package that somehow got sent to White Plains. Alright, no big deal- BUT the people at White Plains had tried to deliver the package to someone in White Plains when the package clearly said Port Chester. Hence my package "not being deliverable". So I called USPS asking if my package Could be sent to PC for pickup. It's been in "transit" for a week. So I call WP post office. The one time it actually does not go to voicemail, a woman picks up - (sounds like she rather be anywhere but work) takes my tracking number and says "well we have that street in white plains" when I explained to her what happened. She puts me on hold for over 20 minutes. So I decided to hang up and call back later. And guess what? Got the voicemail that no one ever calls you back. To sum it up: I think they lost my package and the post office will now hire anyone. Def the worst service ever.

This is where I pick up my mail at the window

I hate USPS. Same thing everywhere you go. Rude employees, long lines, lost packages. Just a terrible experience.

There are lots of post offices in this area, but this one is by far the nicest one. I came here right before Christmas to send a lot of packages. There was a bit of a line but it moved very quickly, and the employees were very jovial and nice to everyone who came in. I'm so glad I have a post office like this that is convenient for me to get to.

I would give zero stars if possible. This afternoon around 4:15 PM, I waited in line for 25 to 30…read moreminutes. There were two associates--one woman wearing a mask who was helping multiple people, and another with glasses who was just talking until she finally assisted the gentleman before me. When I reached the front of the line, the woman with glasses told me her computer wasn't working correctly, and her label printer wasn't functioning, so she couldn't help me. I asked if the second associate could assist, as she had just printed 5-10 labels for the woman in front of me. Before I could even approach her for help, she loudly declared, "That's it, I ain't doing anymore labels!" I was shocked by how rude she was, making me feel like I had done something wrong just by coming in with a QR code. Instead of trying to help, she refused to assist, leaving me with no choice but to walk out without mailing my package. I expressed to both associates how incredibly rude they were and that I didn't deserve to be treated that way. There was a line of over eight people behind me, and I had already waited with about eight people in front of me. I understand that USPS employees may not always be happy with their jobs, but a little decency is expected when someone is kind and simply asking for help--especially when it's your job to print labels as part of the service. I do not recommend this location, and I hope management addresses this issue with their team. This is not how a community USPS should operate.
