I go inside and mail the payments and the check was white washed. I am not the only victim to this crime.....the Post has serious issues.

I recently sent 2 different letters to the same medical practice in Harrison, NY from this post office. Both contained checks. The second also had a CD of a MRI scan. NEITHER envelope made it to the practice. I now have to physically go in person to the medical office which is a hardship for me due to impairment issues. read more

I don't know what is going on at this place, it's like they don't want you to use the post office. Every time I go to ship something, they tell me different ways it has to be packaged and then when I do it for the next time, they're extremely rude to me about it and tell me I did it wrong. I'm just trying to follow what I was told to do literally two days ago. There's a woman who works there that is extremely condescending and rude. If they don't have a set standard of what they want us to do for shipping items, how are we supposed to know what to do? I'm sorry but the employees here are so cranky dismissive and not helpful. It's an awful experience each time to go to Mamaroneck post office. I told a friend I had to run to the post office and they felt bad for me. Come on, how about a shred of kindness. Not sure if all post offices suck, or just the ones around here. If it's busy forget getting in and out because the service is horribly slow. I recently went in and was the only person in there and it still took several minutes to be served. The employees are very inattentive and barely acknowledge you. They definitely take their time to help you with what you need. Everything inside is old and outdated and on several occasions I have gone in for stamps and they didn't have any. Can't really think of anything redeeming about this post office other than that it is pretty centrally located. When you go just allot time because it's not a quick in and out. read more

Avoid this location at all costs. Was told I could pick up my package after it had been processed at the facility but was told to come back in an hour. Then when I arrived back, I was told that she did not want to go in the back to get it and that it would be delivered tomorrow, a Saturday when my business was closed. If you have kids, avoid this post office. We made an appointment to renew my son's passport. We arrived on time, and had to wait 20 minutes, so our 18 month old got fidgety. We kept a close watch on him, but at one point he banged his hands on the wall in front of him. The man at the middle counter then yelled at my 5 year old (who was standing quietly waiting in line) to stop being annoying. Had he asked nicely first, this review would be different. I'm a small business owner in the area. I ship out of Harrison usually and they're amazing but when we're running late we go to Mamaroneck. Multiple shipments of mine have been stuck at the "Label Created" phase in shipping even after I drop them off. So every single time I go in I specifically ask the woman (Who has been so rude every time I'm in there) to please make sure they're scanned in the facility. WELL.....I now have an extremely time sensitive package showing as Label Created. It was dropped off the 17th, its now the 22nd. The woman gave me a nasty attitude when i said "Please make sure these are scanned here" and then clearly didn't do as I asked. I'm so truly disappointed and tired of getting back lash from my customers because this post office cant respect their customers requests. I'm awaiting a call back from the post master because it is just unacceptable. I am a paying customer and I would never treat my paying customers the way I've been treated. read more

This office is the most frustrating office to contact. I am having an issue with my package and I can't contact anyone. Whenever I call, the phone just rings and rings until it automatically disconnects. I can't fax because the line is always busy. This is the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. read more

** WARNING ALL BRIDES SENDING OUT INVITATIONS..I had a terrible experience at this location that I hope never happens to any other bride to be. I picked out my perfect wedding invitations. I was told to have these invitations 'hand cancelled' at the post office due to the nature of the invitations. I visited several post offices who told me they do not offer this service. FINE. I called the Mamaroneck Post Office and was told they do offer the service. I drove to this location and met with a clerk on 5/13/19. She told me yes they hand cancel and she would take my 140 invitations to the back to have this done. Turns out..... the invitations were NEVER hand cancelled, instead put through the machine and ruined. $2,000 worth of invitations that arrived with the wax seal BROKEN and with the black ink smudged all over the white invitations. I respect the post offices who told me outright NO. Instead I was led to believe my invitations were in good hands and will be appropriately handled as we discussed. What is unfortunate is that I can't go back to fix it however, I would like to warn all brides. Just because the location says they will do something for you.... BEWARE! This is very unfortunate that we cannot trust someones word. read more
