Entered through rear (parking lot) entrance to drop off a prepaid, pre-labeled package. First visit to this store. It's impossible to tell, entering from this direction, which side of the counter is designated for customers. There's no signage, and there are lcd screens facing both directions. All employees were chitchatting in the rear of store, none at counter...I assumed the sole person at the counter was an employee, and took position opposite him. Turned out he was a customer. I was informed semi-audibly by a twenty-something employee muttering through an N95 mask that I was "standing on _our_ side of the counter." He made a vague hand gesture toward the other side of the counter and said something (also inaudible because of the mask) about drop-off being "there." I moved to the opposite side of the counter. After a minute or so he came over, gestured vaguely toward the front of the store, and said impatiently into his mask that there was a self-service kiosk. When I moved toward the (poorly labeled) kiosk he said petulantly "never mind, I'm here now," and proceeded to scan my package and issue a receipt. Rude? Not exactly -- but petulant, entitled, impatient, and definitely "pissy." Irritating enough to leave me sitting in the parking lot writing my first-ever Yelp review :-) I'll definitely drive the extra mile next time to do my shipping from the Staples outlet down the road in New Rochelle. read more

This location is the worst place to do a return, I understand all those returns from Amazon make people tired specially the people who works at the store, but as a prime member we pay for a membership and it's not our fault that they have a deal between Amazon in the UPS store, it's been a while that I go to the store to do my returns and the people who worked in there always are very rude but today one of them cross the line, she's sad to say bad words with his mask on, and it gets me very angry angry and I told him listen why you don't take your mask and tell me the things that you're talking about right now, and then, at the end, I end up telling him if you don't like your job, please quit and do something else. I really hope they improve or just close. This location people who lives around are usually very kind. Well polite, we don't deserve this kind of service around here. read more

ZERO STARS. First of all, there's no cell service in this shop whatsoever. It's 2020 and I'd guess 90% of packages shipped these days have something to do with the internet. The two men that run this shop instruct their patrons to stand in the street out front to pull up anything they need to access on email/internet etc. Second of all, apparently you can't use a UPS account number to ship here??? What's the point of being affiliated if you can't manage your shipments with UPS? And finally, the aforementioned men, couldn't be less helpful or less courteous. If you HAVE to use UPS go to the shop two miles south in New Rochelle. Otherwise, stick with the company that actually knows what they're doing... FEDEX. read more

This isn't just referring to one potentially grumpy day, but every visit I've made there has been met with rudeness and unwarranted comments about you and your packages. The owner is uninhibitedly caustic, dismissive and disrespectful. And from the horse's mouth, the store is in no way related to UPS - therefore, no reason to be held to any standards or expectations of working with UPS. So, if you are looking for a UPS store don't go here. The name is purely coincidental as are the guys wearing brown clothes who may come in periodically. This is a busy location for its size but they are always really helpful and happy to present different options if what you are looking for at first isn't available. They are an especially great local option for Amazon returns. Being a little patient, returns are quick and easy here. Shipping things out for eBay is convenient at this location as well. I needed to send a thick letter to London, UK and went to the UPS Store to send it. I paid the extra $40, for a total of $124 for next day delivery, the package was labeled and sealed and at about 11:00 AM on Wednesday I left feeling confident the package would get to London on time. Certainly before the Friday due date. You got it. The package didn't get to London until the following MONDAY late afternoon. I checked the tracking, which indicated it did not leave the store until Friday at 6:00 PM, according to UPS. According to UPS, "The UPS store employee are not "UPS EMPLOYEES" because the UPS Stores are franchises and UPS is not responsible for errors that occur in the stores." According to the store owner, the UPS driver must have forgotten to scan it when it was picked up and then left it on the truck. So neither UPS nor the store owner was willing to take responsibility. Given that the inside of the store looks like a hoarders basement, I have a good idea where the problem occurred. In any case, people should be aware that just because it says UPS on the sign and bears the UPS logo doesn't mean it is UPS. Next time, DHL! read more
