Very disappointing experience with the UPS Store in Weston. I had two small packages delivered…read morethere and, when I went to pick them up a few days later, I was told I owed about $100 in storage fees based on a $10-per-package-per-day charge starting the day each package arrived. I had never been told about this fee, and the employee acknowledged that it is not something they advertise. The storage charge was roughly three times the value of the packages themselves, so I left without them rather than pay it. It felt as though I was being forced to pay a substantial undisclosed fee simply to retrieve my own packages. I spoke with the manager, but he would not reconsider the charges and seemed irritated that I was questioning the policy. The company that shipped the packages was shocked by what happened, said it would investigate and file a complaint, and is sending replacement packages directly to my home. I would be very cautious about doing business with this location unless you first make sure you understand what fees they may charge, including any hidden charges that are not clearly disclosed in advance.

After going back and forth for a while, I paid, said thanks I appreciate you. Then she literally pushed the QR code my way and said "if you really appreciate me, give me a five star review on Google and use my name, Daisy." It was brazen - and after she had disputed the address multiple times no less. Half an hour later, after I independently confirmed that the address I had initially provided was correct, I returned to get the package corrected. It turns out Daisy had mistyped the accurate information and thusly wasn't getting the address to come up. User error on her end despite having the written address in front of her. We went back and forth again for a while until she corrected her typo and verified the address. I showed her the home on Redfin and showed her the address again. That's when she FINALLY realized she had typed it wrong, but she just shrugged it off. She gave me a new tracking number, said the cost would be the same, and then asked me if I gave her a five star review yet... No apology for arguing with me. No apology for mistyping things multiple times despite having a written address directly in front of her. Just back to a review. I said I hadn't yet, so she picked up the placard with the QR code and slapped it on the desk and told me to "go ahead and do it now and to use her name -- Daisy." After such blatant disregard and outright insistence on a five star review despite her own errors, I am inclined never to return to this location. I will literally go one town over to avoid such pushing again. :( And I almost never have negative things to say. I feel horrible writing this, but she insisted on a review twice -- so here it is: Daisy gave me the worst service I've ever received from a UPS store.

Weston Shoe Repair is by far the best shoe repair shop I have ever been to! The owner is a genius…read morewith leather. He not only fixed my shoes and boots, but also my expensive handbags and a briefcase. He made the worn and slightly torn leather look like new! He also resoled and fixed my son's dress shoes and they also look like we just bought them. Fun fact is that the owner learned his craft from his family and also from Valentino in Italy. In his spare time, he designs shoes and matching clutches that are drop-dead gorgeous. I love supporting small, local businesses anyway, but Weston Shoe Repair gets my highest praise! How fortunate we are to live so close to this gem! Ps. While I was in line, an older lady brought in a pair of winter boots that needed a bit of glue to the sole, as she was tripping in them.
