During this time, the customer being helped must wait, and the process repeats for each person. This suggests that packages may not be organized for efficient retrieval. During one visit, I waited behind three customers, and the process took about 20 minutes wait time, 10 minutes being waited upon. Yesterday (12/15/2025), I received a pickup slip but chose not to wait in line, leaving the slip for another day because of the anticipated 20-30 minute delay. Previously (over a year ago), package pickups were handled in the main post office area, alongside services such as purchasing stamps and mailing parcels. That system was faster and gave priority to customers collecting packages. The current arrangement at this location results in longer wait times and reduced efficiency.
