The prices they charge to mail things seem a bit high, but I think that's just the mailing service everywhere. When I had to get a passport a few months ago they told me their appointments were months out. I got an appointment at the Evergreen Post Office within a few days and had my passport within 2 weeks. Their exterior and interior are also in desperate need of upkeep. Everything seems unkept and outdated. Overall, service is good and their location is convenient.

But after one attempt we finally got an appointment at the Lyons Post Office and about 7 weeks later we got our passports! I highly recommend and most of it is required but have ALL your paperwork ready when you make your appointment. Birth certificates for all along with with a picture ID and a completed passport application is a must. I have full custody of my 2 daughters so I had to provide a court order copy. Otherwise both biological parents have to be present and sign for minor children. The Lyons Post Office was clean and no busy at all. They also offer the passport photo taking so no need to worry about that! For 3 passports, it was less than $400!
