In that time,…read morethe amount of work the same small staff has been asked to do has tripled or quadrupled, due to the continued increase in their service population. Their work is further increased by UPS dropping off tons of Amazon packages at the Post Office rather than delivering them to the physical addresses themselves. Despite this increase in work, the same dedicated staff continues to serve with a smile. I don't know how they do it. Five stars once again, and I wish the customers would provide the appreciation the staff deserves.

The staff at the Grand Lake Post Office are friendly and helpful, and I appreciate that. However, I wish they were open on Saturdays, like many other post offices. Grand Lake has a large population of part-time residents, and weekend hours would make it much easier for those of us who are only in town part of the week to take care of postal business. I'd also like to see some modernization. In this day and age, not being able to renew P.O. boxes online seems outdated and unnecessarily inconvenient. Online renewals and more flexible hours would go a long way toward improving the customer experience. Overall, the friendly staff are a positive, but the limited hours and lack of basic online services keep this post office at average for me. A few practical changes would make it much more convenient for the community it serves.

After several trips to the store and a week of silence, I finally got an email asking for details about the package contents. I responded immediately with descriptions and photos -- that was over a month ago, and I have heard nothing since. At this point, I'm out the cost of shipping, and my package and its contents are missing. The store itself is unorganized and cluttered, and when issues arise, their customer service is nonexistent. My daughters and I are able to travel the world!…read more After several scheduled appointments at the Longmont location, I was disappointed and worried about getting our documents in time for our trip out of the country come March 2022. But after one attempt we finally got an appointment at the Lyons Post Office and about 7 weeks later we got our passports! I highly recommend and most of it is required but have ALL your paperwork ready when you make your appointment. Birth certificates for all along with with a picture ID and a completed passport application is a must. I have full custody of my 2 daughters so I had to provide a court order copy. Otherwise both biological parents have to be present and sign for minor children. The Lyons Post Office was clean and no busy at all. They also offer the passport photo taking so no need to worry about that! For 3 passports, it was less than $400!

Terrible first (and last) customer experience. My pre-labeled package was dropped off for before…read moreposted pickup time international delivery with DHL Express on the 24th. Curiously and without any follow-up from anyone at Boulder Packaging, my time-sensitive customer's package sat without even being scanned into the system for tracking four days after drop-off at this store until I called with pointed questions. My business card was provided twice to the clerk at the time of drop-off and he refused to take it, but since my business contact info is listed on the label & internantional paperwork, I'd thought everything was good. It very much was NOT! When I noticed no progress on the tracking, I called to check in on the 26th and the employee that answered was the same man that had initially received my package three days earlier on the 24th. He casually related that mysteriously, neither FedEx nor DHL had picked up ANY PACKAGES for three days, but "we absolutely did nothing wrong", he insisted. I was stunned to be expected to believe that explanation for an "Authorized" Ship Center, so I immediately called DHL customer support and my Account Rep directly to repeat my questions and get real answers. DHL explained that some shipping centers have automatic daily pickup while others have to call to request pickup. Miraculously, my package was finally picked up on the 27th to at last begin it's journey abroad after an inexplicably undocumented and uncommunicated four day layover at Boulder Packaging Center. This is certainly not what I or my customer paid for when we were entrusted to get their package abroad in a express manner. We DO NOT RECOMMEND and will not trust this location again for our business shipping in-the-field drop-offs. It is really unfortunate since we prefer to support local businesses whenever possible. My business reputation cannot afford their lack of professional accountability and excessively casual attitude about their role in getting paying customer's packages delivered on time. FedEx & DHL, you need to check up on your "Authorized" Shipping Centers. Your brand and your customers are not being represented or served well here.
