Do NOT use this post office; their employees STOLE 19 books from my package!! The books that were…read moreleft were DAMAGED and RIPPED UP (see pictures below). I used media mail to mail 50 of my personal books to my new address. The tracking number the post office gave me stopped tracking my box of books at the 2nd stop. USPS (federal employees) opened my book box, STOLE 19 books out of it (Star Wars and Marvel graphic novels, Star Wars novels, a book about Jesus, several historical books, and 4 books about spirituality). The books the crooks didn't care to steal were carelessly stuffed back in the box and they even ripped The Alchemist's cover completely off. I am extremely disappointed with USPS; our tax dollars pay these criminals' salaries. NEVER USING USPS EVER AGAIN! I only go in the post office a few times per year, as I usually use the USPS services they provide online to order stamps and print shipping labels. But every time I have ever been in this post office, the staff has been helpful and friendly. The challenges I have seen for efficiency have all been customers. I was behind a 40ish customer who didn't know which corner of the envelope gets the stamp, and watching customers get angry about customs declarations is common. The year before my Xmas card containing cash (i know, not smart) but I trusted the postal service. It was delivered 6 weeks later within Ohio. I sometimes receive mail ripped open with markings that look like tire treads. My incoming deliveries will track as accepted at the Macedonia USPS location, only to show that rather than deliver to my home, the package is shipped back to another state before circling around and rerouting back to Macedonia postal office. That has happened several times. Wonder if they will ever get back on track again. So aggravating!

They have outside mailboxes for after hours and inside it's just like any other post office... including the typical unhappy and grumpy workers. I really can't figure it out. When I first arrived, I was excited to see a drop off box where I can just drop off my pre-paid label packages and go, but the lever on the box did not move and seemed to be locked in place. Unfortunately, that meant I would have to stand in line to drop off my packages, and boy was that line long. I am okay with waiting in a long line if it moves, but this one wasn't budging for serval minutes because when one associate would go into the back room to find something, the other would stop what they were doing and question the first one. It was an endless circle of the same questions for the customer- and this happened for two customers!! In addition, there were several people who came in and because they have a PO Box at this location they were able to skip the line?!? Completely uncalled for. When the manager finally stepped out of his office to look a the line he didn't even do anything to help his associates or assist any customers. Terrible customer service- do NOT go to this USPS location.
