For some reason, my mail person can't seem to figure out that just because they can put a package in the mailboxes they provide, doesn't mean I can get it out on my side!! You would think that they could figure out that if the mail they keep putting in the box disappears, but the package doesn't, there could be a PROBLEM!?!?! I have a package that has been STUCK in my mailbox for at least 5 days now. I've called the post office, but that doesn't seem to work either. I just don't get it!?!?! Avoid this location at all costs, and use a different shipping service. The staff is out dated, and the service is out dated. Mail will not be delivered or shipped in a timely manner, the staff's excuse is always "we don't have the bandwidth to cover the area". Despite having digital tracking number(s) the staff will insist that digital tracking is not valid or a up to date system. Tired of the excuses. Postmaster(s) has been notified numerous times no effort has been made to correct the situation(s). read more

Had a key to a large package box in my regular mail box but the key didn't work. Called the post office and they said they would tell the delivery person and to put the key in the out going box which I did with a note. Never heard a word, never got a package. They have now started this new thing where they don't bother to properly sort the mail of my neighbor and I so even though both mail boxes are clearly labeled they still don't bother to put them in the right boxes. I am constantly getting my neighbors mail and vice versa. The latest undelivered package notification (because of course there still has been no change in the seer laziness) said they didn't come down my driveway due to "low visibility" I'm starting to think maybe they should just get their eyes checked since clearly they are having so many issues seeing properly that they cant even read the mail boxes and match the names. read more

I go there all the time and the staff has always been very helpful. I'm not sure why this post office has such bad reviews. I've been to several other post offices in the area and they are exactly the same. Long lines and chaos. This post office location is absolutely useless. The customer service is terrible, every time I go there the line is out the door and they're understaffed. And the mail delivery at home really sucks also. We get mail for other people and other people to come to my house and give me my mail. And just yesterday they didn't even bother to pick up my ballot. I've seen him drive to the end of our cul-de-sac one day and I was out there excepting a delivery from UPS and just for a brief second he blocked our mailbox so the letter carrier just made a U-turn and went right back out. Our rural carrier is flat out lazy. She refuses to deliver anything that will not fit in the mailbox. Always leaves an Attempted Delivery note in the box. There was NO attempt! The Snohomish post office refuses to acknowledge that there is a big problem and doesn't respond to complaints. Many people in this community have complained to no avail. The Snohomish post office does not care about customer service whatsoever. today I received a package for some one else, that seems to have medication in it. I will deliver it to the correct address tomorrow. Day before yesterday I received a package, again that belonged to someone else. I delivered it. Last week I received mail in my mail box, that belonged to a neighbor, I put it in the correct box. I have a full time job, I'm not looking for another one. In Oct my cousin sent me a package, $50 value, it did not arrive, when I called the PO, there was a 45 min wait on the phone. A couple of years ago, I was left on hold while searching for a missing package, when I did talk to someone, he was rude, and basically told me I was out of luck. It took this office weeks to put a label on our mailbox, resulting in our forwarded mail going into a black hole (aka Seattle), and never being delivered to us. I had to drive 11 miles with two small children, schlepping them into the post office for a number of weeks because they refused to deliver. Customer service is very poor. Terrible! We live just east of town and these days they are delivering our mail and packages after 8:00 PM and in their own cars, not a P.O. vehicle. Even worse is that now they are not bothering to drive from the post box on the road below up to the house, calling it "inaccessible" when there is a big driveway and the house is clearly marked! I had a package to return and when I brought up to counter the person said he would not accept because the paper I covered the box in he could see another address on it - I had wrapped package in regular paper and could not see anything - but all I got from this guy was "sorry" - "you will have to take home and put in different box" ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh - (me) "why cant I put dark tape over the address you can faintly see" - (him) "nope, you cannot do that" RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Would not help with the mistake that the postal service made with a family member change of address which caused our whole families mail, which we have been at for over 27+ years, to go to the one family's new address. I stood in line at Christmas which took about a hour, supervisor said the system was down and took my name and number and would call me. Needless to say, no call, 15 pieces of mail and being told she never talked with me at all then a week later when I called she stated it was not her that I talked with. I have had nothing but issues at this place. I'm not the only one on my street iv heard the stories always thought it was just exaggerated. Until I order thru usps not fed ex or ups. I don't have a PO Box with the snohomish post office, I have one in lynnwood. Even tho I live in snohomish! ups & fed ex delieverd up to my house no problem-love them! I was warned that usps won't deliver to the house if you don't have a mail box at the end of the road. We don't because the mail in the area has been stolen multiple times. So I called and had to argue with the lady that it wouldn't be delieverd to my house and explain why and she proceeded to tell me that she wasn't sure and no one else was there to ask, okay maybe a newbie. Walked in a few days later to talk to someone only to again argue with a lady about why it wouldn't be sent to my house why they couldn't notify me if my package even arises and that I don't have a PO box with snohomish.this lady was a little more helpful, and that was nice regardless of the 10min I had to wait to speak to someone. She gave me directions to notify them as soon as my tracking #said it had arrived. The morning it arrived at the post office I called and told the lady who argued with me about why I shouldn't have to call about my package and that it will be delivered to my house. Had to go thru the whole thing again to yet another person. Finally got her to agree to put my package aside so it wouldn't be sent back-after waiting 4 months for it to say it had been delivered. I couldn't miss this delivery timing I had such a short gap! Told the lady id be in at 12 to get it that day. Arrive at post office, waited 20min in line and atleast 5-10 for them to search for it only to be told that it wasn't there. So frustrating! I walked out not wanting to show how frustrated I was. I called at 3pm ish after I had sorted my self and wanted to know where my package was. I had to again go thru my whole speech. The lady responded with "We don't take orders from customers" I was furious!! How dare she say that after all the trouble iv been thru and I was only following the directions of a manager that said this would be the best way to catch my package. The Snohomish post office has the biggest dumb ass customer service I have ever seen. Twice this month they refused to deliver packages from Amazon. These are packages that I pay extra for quick delivery. Both times the post office says "unable to deliver due to incorrect address". This is a total lie. After 2 tries they quickly send the packages back to Amazon. Why the hell do they do that? I am so furious I can hardly contain myself. Not only does it make a mess out of my credit card but more importantly these were items that were needed asap for repairs. I will NEVER rely on this incompetent bunch of liars again. I will be using the Amazon locker boxes near the Safeway. The USPS needs to be reminded that they are paid to deliver - not lie to the customer. read more

In 11 years, we have not received mail on about 6 occasions. In the past 3 weeks, we have not received mail 5 times. We know we have mail coming - we have gone into the Post Office to ask about it, we have been told our "regular carrier" is back and "everything will be back to normal". This was on Monday. Now it's Tuesday night at 9:30pm. We have gotten NO MAIL since last Friday. This is so frustrating. Where in the world is our mail? Is it sitting in a tray in the back of the Post Office somewhere? They delivered during a period of time I had set up a hold my mail, left the delivery in the middle of my driveway where it was run over several times. Then Amazon made me fill out a redelivery form because another package was attempted to be delivered during the same time frame but couldn't according to the Snohomish mail carrier. Forcing me to fill out several forms during a time frame I had already set up a hold my mail. Don't know how the USPS expects to take care of large Amazon accounts when they have so much trouble with a simple hold my mail. Not pleased! read more

This post office needs to evaluate who they have working in customer service. Each time I try to pick up a package or ask questions, I am made to feel less then. I can clearly see the package is at the office, customer service can see it and suggests the normal process of pickup and each time I try I get a different reason why I can't pick it up. After I spend 10 min going over the process they manage to get me the package and apologize. Any business needs a basic standard of service and this one continually forgets the reason they are employed.. the customer. After paying for one day delivery on a package I NEEDED before going on vacation, the post office said they tried to deliver but could not due to restricted access. Restricted access means gated community, or controlled access building; the house I live in is neither and I regularly get packages delivered to the door from other carriers, and even from them a few times in the past. Thanks to the absolute laziness of the carrier, I was unable to get my needed items (that I paid extra for) in time for my trip, and had to re-arrange itineraries to make sure I had what I needed the day I left. I wish I could give a zero star review. Thankfully Amazon is amazing and refunded my money, but that does not change all of the things that got royally screwed up. read more

Beware of this post office, there are thieves among them. They will open your mail like they did with my income tax and steal your mail and information. My mail was hand opened and retaped closed with a small piece of scotch tape which shows they have no regard for even attempting to hide their actions. My mail was then returned to me with no contents within the mail (empty envelope). This has happened multiple times to me at this post office and is no accident. This is against federal law and the fact that this post office is allowing their employees to repeatedly commit illegal crimes is disgusting. read more

Worse than frequent deliveries to the wrong mailboxes is the disturbing fact that, even though mail was put on hold and a confirmation number was issued through the system, the Snohomish post office is still delivering the mail to the mailbox. Attempts to speak with a supervisor were met with he/she "...is in a meeting but will certainly call back today...". You guessed it, the call never came. Lodged a complaint via the website form and sure hope that someone higher up looks closer at what they are doing, or better said, NOT doing. This is the worst Post Office I have ever dealt with. Several times this year we did not get mail delivery at all. Sometimes people are expecting important mail and not to get any mail at all is very disturbing. The latest thing that happened is I had mail on vacation hold and it did not get delivered when I requested and I had to go into the Post Office to retrieve it. If I could give this post office no stars I would. Every time I order a package from Amazon I never get the package on time and I always have to go pick it up because the mail person puts "package pick up request's" in my mailbox instead of bringing the package to my door. Amazon pays the United States post office to deliver their customers packages specifically to their doors; additionally, Amazon pays the United States Post Office to deliver packages on Sundays. These package pick up requests are unacceptable for working couples my husband and I work Monday through Friday 9 to 5. The post office is in the main city of Snohomish almost 9 miles away from where I live it is nearly impossible for us to get out of the house on Saturday drive 9 miles to pick up a package that should've been delivered to my door or at least left at my mailbox. This is not acceptable if I could change my post office I would in a heartbeat. read more

I am not one to write reviews, but now feel that it is necessary. This is THE worst post office that I have ever been to. I would rather drive the extra miles to Everett and stand in line for and hour, then ever trust this post office again. In my lifetime (I'm 56yrs old) I had never had packages or cards (w/gift cards enclosed) go missing until I moved to Washington. Specifically only when mailed from the Snohomish location. It is really quite absurd and certainly not a coincidence. I now drive to Lake Stevens, Granite Falls or Marysville and sometimes Monroe. Seriously worth it. I also pay extra for tracking now. The lead supervisor is not very smart, her name is Pat. I am sorry to say that she does not deserve to be a lead supervisor. I was trying to mail an envelope but unfortunately my husband transposed the zip code so her computer won't take it. Her answer is so she could not find a zip code therefore she told me its not available that I need to come back with the right zip code. So, I step out and Google it in my cell phone and not surprise I found it. Unfortunately, the original zip code that was in the envelope was transposed therefore it does not show in her computer. She could have look it up and find what is the right zip code instead of telling me "I can't do it, wrong zip code" She is supposed to be a supervisor... what a waste she is...typical government employee that just want to take her pay check but do not want to work an extra step on her job which we as the people paying her pay check.
