I LOVE the kindness of the employees and passport people here! The lines always go out past their internal doorway, but everyone still manages to be kind and smile, to all the impatient customers! Went to our appointment to get passports in November. Sat in some gross fifty year old chairs in the hall. Listened to the woman talk down and belittle the young couple in the current appointment slot. She sounded very loud and rude and we thought maybe there was a misunderstanding as we had just gotten there. But after they left she basically had the same attitude with the next guest. When it was our turn we also were treated in the manner. So at least the gal was consistent I guess. We didn't have our forms filled out before hand which is our bad and my husband forgot his birthday certificate, which she did direct us where to go to get a replacement one. But seriously, I haven't seen someone so mean in public service for a while. I just told her we'd make another appointment at a later time and left. When I said that she changed her tune and became much sweeter, it was just such a bazaar interaction. The second star is for her at least giving us a solution to the birth certificate issue we had made and the rest of the post office staff is always friendly and professional. I get that it probably sucks dealing with everyone doing something wrong at their passport appointment but if you hate people so much maybe this shouldn't be your gig. Maybe we caught her on the worse day of her life? We made a new appointment in snohomish and it was a super fast, friendly, professional experience. Laziest, most unprofessional workers ever. Have lost so much mail and so many times have had other apartments and houses (sometimes miles away) show up in my box. Today the mailman DUMPED all of our mail in a garbage container and didn't deliver it. When we went and complained to a supervisor at the Everett location we came home and found that they wrote a rude message on a note on our boxes. Someone should be fired for this. read more

Last Monday 2/26/24 I went to the post office to complain about I did not receiving any packages on Saturday 2/24/2024, after they found my package then I open my package and found I missing (1) a large diamond 18K gold jade Buddha statue It was worth 2100$ that I ordered from Hien Hoa jewelry on 2/23/2024 should be 2 items in the package and I talk to the people in the post office that I missing I item and I talk to the 2 post office manager(one man and one lady) they told me just go online and fill report the issue... last Saturday 2/24/24 the mail man lady stop the car in front of my gate but she sat in the car never step out from the car write something then I was open the door trying to go down stair go to the mailbox and the minutes she saw me she drove the car away really fast???? after that I received a message from USPS : Delivered, Left with individual 02/24/2024... I was seat in the living room most all day on that day wait for my package( my kids in they room, my husband at work on that day) I did not receive any package or any mail on that day 2/24/2024 because after she drove away . My package did not come on time 2/24/24 some strange reason from the USPS messages and the mail delivery that I did not understand.. ,please investigate all the message on 2/24/2024 from the USPS and the mail man lady on that Saturday 2/24/24 first USPS message said package already delivery with signs N PHM..( not my name) then after saw that messages i respond back right away that I did not received any package then USPS message back said incorrect address return to Everett 98201...please investigate find the person stealing my Jade Buddha statue and why is my package not come on time with all the strange USPS message.. I called told Hien Hoa the owner that I received the package but only 1 jade bangle inside the package and there no jade Buddha in the package, but she's listening to the people in the post office in California and blames everything was my fault because I was not video, how do I know and if I did record a video, what will they next excuse, I feel hurt when the people just denies and disrespect my feeling , making the situation often feel heavier and much worse than whatever the problem was...so I totally lost 2100$ just like that... TWICE in one week. WTF USPS, are you hiring people who cannot read or just plain out stupid? On Wednesday you driver could not access my house even though I received regular mail at our box 50 feet away. If the regular mail gets in you can reach my house. FAIL! Then they apparently could not read the sign on the gate (assuming they made it that far) FAIL! I was home and the front door was OPEN. This resulted in 'Delivery Attempted - No Access'. Ironically, it arriving the next day, properly as I expected, just LATE! Then on Friday, not only do I get my regular mail, I get some of my parcels AT my porch, but not all of them. So, later a second delivery occurs, but wait for it, 'Delivery Attempted - No Access'. What the actual FUCK? They Gate still has the sign but you either have one lazy or one really stupid fucking driver. You have a problem and you need to fix it. Too bad you are completely UNREACHABLE by phone to have this conversation in private. This is your number right? 425.257.3208. I can see why it is so hard to find. I image lots of people want to call you and 'explain' their issues with as well. Me? I'm just going to use ANY other service when possible because USPS is clearly broken. This office has been supremely broken for years and is clearly one of the worst in the state. Mill Creek by comparrison is AWESOME. I wish I still lived there. US Post Office - USPS FUCKING UP AGAIN! - Post Offices Near Me - Everett, Washington

Absolutely awful USPS location. My apartment complex has had so many stolen package reports that have never been answered or responded to that it actually isn't funny. I had blood thinner medication stolen twice IN A ROW ("Marked as delivered to the mailbox" by the way, even though it never was put in my mailbox, ever) and I was in a really medically dangerous situation trying to get it replaced in time to keep up on my levels (you run a very high risk of stroke if you suddenly stop blood thinners cold turkey). I used to enjoy having my medication delivered, as I work third shift and getting down to the pharmacy during normal hours is difficult, but not anymore. I take the lack of sleep to ensure that nightmare never happens again, even though it never should have in the first place. For my birthday, I've been sent several packages that I never received. Amazingly, I got the ones from UPS and FedEx, but none of the ones from USPS, imagine! If I could tell a place I'm ordering from to go through FedEx or UPS, I would. I took the extra few steps to the buildings across the street to deliver their packages over there because the mail carrier was clearly too lazy to do their job and is just there to collect a paycheck. They dumped multiple different packages on my doorstep and just left them there (none of which were mine or even addressed to me). I've lived here for 3 years now, this USPS is actually a primary example of why they need to get rid of USPS entirely (or at least their ability to handle packages) and just let FedEx or UPS handle our mail now. I bet I'd get 99% less junk if the jerks who send it had to pay more for it to be delivered. Mountains of paper whenever I open my mailbox, and only one or two pieces are ever something that I was actually expecting, like a bill or an invoice. The rest is a gigantic wad of "apply for this loan/credit card today! get this great, cheap car insurance!" and grocery store coupon leaflets. Not to mention mail addressed to residents that haven't lived there in 10 years. You wanna save the environment, Washington? Start by banning junk mail. Petition the feds to remove USPS while you're at it. read more

The United States Postal Everett Service is at a great location, lots of parking, very friendly & helpful staff, lots of mailboxes, gift wrappings, greeting cards, boxes for shipping, quick service, short lines and has mail drop offs onsite.The building is in poor shape and the landscaping isn't kept well but the excellent service makes it worth while. This place is TRAAAASH!! They threw away a very important/expensive package that was a gift for my mother. I had my mail forwarded and I got the notification that it was forwarded, then 4 days later I got a notification saying it was "Disposed" can't even talk to a real person when you call. We live in the Riverfront Townhomes too and running into the same issue with lost mail and packages. I was told days ago a lost package was being incorrectly delivered and rerouted from 98203 to 98201 zip code and until today it's missing. Local Post office person even said she will have our courier deliver next day but nothing has been received. And what I don't understand is this: Their courier scanned it as "delivered" even though it wasn't. If that's not mail fraud, I don't know what is. I have presciption orders in there that's why I'm particularly peeved and have had enough. I have never had mail issues until I moved next to this post office. The worst!!! Can't wait to change our address next year just to get away from this USPS location responsible for our mail! Hoyt Ave! Oh and just today I received another email from USPS that a bunch or our mail were delivered elsewhere and being redirected now back to us. It's not USEPS for a Reason 3/5 Stars They don't have "E"s for having all the services available, free parking, do passports, a functional environment & have all supplies in stock. Negative 2 stars due to their lack of positive vibes/excellent customer service & old/not-so-clean building. Besides the normal busyness of postal office, having a smiling and happy customer service associate can make a big difference on your experience. They really need to just fire the old grumpy people and hire younger people with more enthusiasm. Just a tip! read more

This USPS is HORRIBLE. Months ago when I moved to my new apartment, they refused to deliver my mail for weeks on end. Every time I called to ask what was going on, either no one answered (no matter what time of day I called), or the rude customer service rep on the other end would tell me it was probably my fault and hang up on me. Finally they informed me--after 3 weeks of me calling them non-stop--that the postal carrier had failed to put my name in the mailbox and that's why I wasn't getting mail. As a result, my driver's license and my first paycheck arrived about a month after they were sent out. Most recently, I was waiting for two packages to arrive the day before Christmas Eve. I tracked their status online, and according to USPS's website, they were "out for delivery" all day and never showed up. I was really upset that I wasn't able to give presents to two of my family members... however, 20 minutes ago, USPS sent me a notification that they delivered them to my complex's leasing office on Saturday afternoon and they NEVER told me!!! So they not only didn't bother to bring it to my front door (I was home all day), they took it to my apartment's front office and didn't bother to tell me. I had zero gifts for two of my family members on Christmas Day because of USPS's incompetence. I am infuriated. Screw USPS. The people working here are so incompetent, it's unreal. read more

This is the worst post office I have ever experienced, in terms of delivery of packages and mail accurately. Admittedly, I live in a big confusing townhouse development (The Towns at Riverfront), but the mail carrier is not paying attention and is treating us like we don't matter. I simply can't have important things mailed here anymore. I will have to get a PO Box. On June 3o the mail carrier misdelivered a package containing my narcotic prescription med I need to sleep. It was opened by a neighbor, who put it on my front porch. It contained sensitive personal medical info and I believe the carrier is liable under hippa laws. Today they misdelivered an Amazon package with is a frequent occurrence. With the missing meds I had to waste my time filing a police report and going to the PO in person (bc you CAN NOT get them on the phone) to talk to the supervisor who just made excuses. Gee, I wonder why the employees don't care. Top down leadership buddy! If this absolutely absurd level of follow through continues I am going to pay my lawyer to write the Postmaster General in DC to PLEASE provide some oversight to this particular office which seems to be incompetent in many ways and absolutely gone rogue. I will not allow this abuse to continue without going to the absolute top, raising hell until these people can put keys, packages, and mail in the correct boxes. Once again, problems with this post office, even AFTER having all my packages sent to Mount Vernon (they're so much more efficient). Unavoidably I had to have a a new social security card sent to my home address, lo and behold, it got lost. THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT PIECE OF GOVERNMENT ISSUED IDENTITY, and they lost it. Either gave it to the wrong person, or the guy who delivers my mail (Broadway route) took it himself- which at the rate of my lost packages and mail through them, I'm wondering about. I am out here right now with no residence basically hiking and we are sleeping at camp resorts. We sometimes stay at this camping club but there's NO mail service. I can't afford the mailbox 6 months for 120.00 fee, so when I heard I can get general mail, I did tht. I rarely get any mail maybe 2x a month if I need to buy something by mail. Today, some man there I had never seen (I gues the head guy?) saw my out of state ID and asked me how long I had this general address and I said 7 months (but I haven't been here the whole time/this state), and he said I can only have it for 60 days and need to arrange to send mail to my residence (which is out of state). I said well I don't have a residential address here, then he said then I have to buy a po box. But I can't afford it. He was really embarrassing me. I don't have enough to pay tht fee and I don't know why they didn't say that. The clerk said anyone can get general mail and not only for 60 days. What should I do? I don't live in this post office's area anymore, but I had an annoying reason to be in contact with them. Why? Well, my father ordered something off of Amazon and had it shipped to our (former) address because the package couldn't deliver in Canada where he lives. Unfortunately, you'll noticed I said he mailed it to our FORMER address and not our current address (old people - I tell ya!). Anyways, my dad was concerned about getting the package because he got notification it had been delivered to the parcel-sized mailbox - the one we used to use when we lived at our old house. In my head I thought I'd end up awkwardly standing on our old door step, trying to get the homeowner to retrieve my package from the mailbox. Then I, thankfully, thought more logically and called the post office. I first called the Hardeson location, but realized I had to call the Hoyt location where I spoke to an incredibly helpful employee named Danielle. I explained the problem (senior citizen father mailing package to wrong address), and she said she would contact the delivery driver to see if they could return to retrieve the package from the mailbox. Danielle said she'd call me back to let me know what she found out. Now I wasn't honestly expecting a return call, never mind the assistance that ensued, so you can imagine my delight when the delivery driver agreed to not only go back to get the package but return it to the post office where I could pick it up. And yes, Danielle called me back to let me know that the predicament no longer existed. I really felt the employees went above and beyond to help. If everybody had a dad like mine, then this post office would be busy helping a lot of people, so thankfully that isn't the case and they had no problem helping us out. These guys and gals at USPS get enough flack, so I'm happy to send some kudos their way. read more

Reading these reviews, I'm not sure what everyone expected from a Post Office experience but I've been using this location since I moved here and it's fine. I make sure my mail is prepared (USPS has a great site to look up lots of questions before you get there) and I walk in ready and knowing lines are a reality in life. There are self service kiosks available if it's simple and I'm in a hurry. The real reason I'm leaving this review, and giving it five stars, is because the woman who helped me last visit was truly wonderful. She was polite, helpful, and just plain nice. And the service she gave me deserves a compliment. Usually there is a little line, but I only had to wait less than five minutes for it to be my turn. read more

I'm highly disappointed with the Passport services at this location. I went twice and both times could not get any help with the passport process even though I brought everything I was suppose to. Go the the mill creek passport office and get it done there if you need your passport. That's where I ended up going to get my application submitted. I should have just gone there to begin with. I went to this location on 07-01-19 at 03:36 to put a hold on my mail. I have done this many times. Kate was the employee I delt with at the counter. She was rude right out of the gate greeting me as if I were an inconvienience in her life. I eventually got the business taken take of when I believe her name is Angela who seemed to be higher up came to help. Angela is very kind but if I were paying the salary I would get rid of Kate in a second her lack of social skills is a hindrance on society. I have not received any mail in the last 2 weeks NOT EVEN ADDS I don't know how much they make an hour but I'm starting to think it's too much. :( I tried calling but I get a general number that was automated and they would not really take a complaint. When I filed a complaint online it said it would take a Ridiculous amount of time to get back to me about my problem. My first visit there was very nice. My second visit was awful. I did not go to the next available teller because a lady that had just been there did not wear her mask over her nose. She was breathing all over the barrier. So, I told the next teller, it wasn't the teller, but the lady before. They made a joke about it saying they preferred it that way", etc. & cackled about it. To me this is a serious issur because my aunt died of covid & I almost lost a friend. I'm not sure that's a funny situation. Seems like employees should tell people to put the mask over their nose. Another customer even had a mask under their chin...how the hell does that help? It says you must wear a mask to inside, yet the post office must really not care. Their cackling was awful. The employees at this post office are rude and do very little to help when there is a problem. I called and talked to a supervisor because my mail carrier was too lazy to deliver a package. They said that the driver didn't have access to the delivery location but he was able to deliver my mail?!? My mailbox is on my porch for gods sake!! You can deliver my mail but not a small package that could've fit in the box?!? The supervisor took down my name and number so they could call back when they talked to the driver but I DID NOT GET A CALL BACK and I'm still waiting for my package!!!! read more

ALL THOSE WHO HAVE LOVED ONES IN THE MILITARY - Avoid this Post Office at all costs, especially if you're a first-time deployment wife. I had to go through the lines 3 times in addition to having to drive home to get tape to tape up the box. My husband has been deployed right now for a little over a month with 6 more months to go. This was my first time mailing a package overseas/to a Ship, and I was greeted with nothing but passive aggression and rude attitudes. The first time I went through the line, I had a grocery bag of items that I wanted to mail and I asked the worker for guidance. I heard from other wives that you could get free boxes at the post office for mailing to a loved one in the military... nope (well, not at this post office). She also handed me a form that I had no idea how to fill out. I asked her what it was and she said it was a customs form. I asked her if she could please assist me with what to fill out. She went through the items in seconds, then yelled "NEXT". I took the form to the side, filled it out to the best of my ability, and then picked out a box to purchase. I went through again, this time I was 'assisted' by a gentleman. I asked him if I filled out the form correctly, and I said I was confused with how to enter in the ship address on the form.... when I asked "Is this correct?", he would respond with 'sure', 'fine', etc.... I had no idea what was going on. Finally when I thought I finished the form, I noticed that it asked for the weight of the items. I asked the man if he could please assist me with that, as he had a scale right in front of him. He put the whole grocery bag on the scale then said "2 lbs 4 ounces". I said... uh, ok. Can I borrow some packing tape to tape the box? He said that there's packing tape for purchase, and that "We only ask that you come through the line prepared with your package completed"..... I was so floored. I had no idea what I was doing. If I did, then I could have accommodated to his wishes. I drove all the way home to get tape to tape up my package, and drove back to the post office. There I taped up my box, packed it, taped it shut, got out the customs form, and got back in line. Again, I was unlucky enough to have him 'assist' me again. I told him I did everything I'm aware should be done. He then said "Well, you're going to have to start by addressing the box". I told him I wasn't going to move from his station, as I had now been through 3 times. I addressed the box, gave him the form, and thought that now I was finished. Nope. He went through my form, circled 3 items, and said "I need more information". One was for the weight of each item... which he didn't assist me with fully on, so I guessed. I then filled out the other items and handed it back. He then circled 3 other items and said "I need more information"... I was like.... really? Just circle all the damn items you need so I can get this going and mailed to my husband away at sea! Once it was finally said and done, there were scribbles all over my customs form and my package was super sloppy. I told the man that this is my first time mailing to a ship, and I didn't appreciate how rude he had been to me and that he should treat me with more resp..... "DO YOU HAVE ANY PERISHABLES, et."... he cut me off mid sentence. Once the process was FINALLY completed, I called him an ass hole under my breath and left. I posted the experience on facebook and heard back from a few wives, all saying to never go back to the Everett Post Office, as the employees are the rudest. read more

I have used this post office for over 20 years. Customer service has always been pretty bad.....most of the workers don't care to help. There are exceptions, and the service has improved since the certifiable manager of the place either retired or was relocated. He literally held both staff and customers hostage. I don't have much bad to say since I stopped seeing him there, but this place would have to be good MANY times to make up for previous awful service. read more
