I didn't have any problems personally, but the way I saw some of the workers being irritated with clients wasn't the best thing for me to see. I understand some clients can be difficult, but they just need answers/help to understand certain things. I don't think they want to take time as they are probably short staffed. read more

The absolute worst lobby service than anyone. There is never enough help at the counter. We have waited a half hour at times. It is rare to get a happy person helping you. Go somewhere else if you can. read more

This place is a sad joke. I sent in a change of address on line. My BF did the same thing on the same day. He received his confirmation in the mail but I did not. When I called the Woodbury post office, I was assisted by someone named long.he said he was a supervisor and told me that he could not send me another confirmation even though I never received the first one. The problem was that I filled it out on line- that is what he told me. Wrong. My BF filled his out on line and address change confirmation was delivered no problem. Then this person said he wasn't sure if he could send another one or not. I told him I don't understand what the problem is. I paid for the change. He said if I need proof of the change to show people my phone with the address change confirmation. I asked for his supervisor. He said he is the sup and that his other sup, Travis is not available until Monday. He then told me " Good luck explaining your situation to Travis and see how far you get". Seriously folks. This is ' customer service' at the post office. Don't go here or give these guys your money. They clearly don't deserve it. read more

Be prepared to wait forever to get someone to help. Line always out the door. So ridiculous.

If you have to send or receive a package of any kind, do not use this post office. I have lived in Woodbury for close to ten years now. The postal service was decent when I first moved here. However, within the last several years things have declined. The first thing that was noticeable was mail taking forever to arrive at the homes of other people. I would send a card for a various occasion and the person on the receiving end would never receive it. If it was something that happened only once every couple of years, I'd say things happen. This was happening much more often than that. It was close to once a month I would mail someone something and they would never get it. At this point I began sending everything UPS and have not encountered any issues since. It has only continued to get worse. Packages I am expecting never show or they are delivered to someone else. I have been relatively fortunate that I have neighbors that are trustworthy because every package has somehow made it to me, but I shouldn't have to rely on that. If I am given the choice for shipping, I always, always take UPS or Fed Ex. If I am not given a choice, I have reached the point where I just assume that whatever I ordered will not make it to me. I am at the mercy of the merchants shipping protocols and hope they do not send it through the USPS. Finally, what another writer wrote is more accurate than I care to admit. I've gone to the post office to ask about missing mail and the staff are less than helpful. That is after navigating the pot holed parking lot that has only continued to get worse with time. It's been years and it has only gotten worse. Any private business would not stand for this kind of customer service. It would bankrupt them. Providing continued poor service with even poorer customer service is not the way a company remains in business. It's no wonder the USPS is operating in the red year after year. I urge you to avoid using this post office at all costs. You're putting anything you're trying to send in peril if you choose to do so. read more

Going to mail a couple birthday cards. One of the envelops wouldn't stay closed. Asked the lady at the counter for a piece of scotch tape. She refused, saying that "unless it is a Priority Package, we don't give out tape". REALLY? A piece of tape?! Needless to say, we will be using UPS or Fedex from now on!!! Woodbury USPS customer service stinks! read more

Rarely do I EVER mail stuff through the post office. I ordered something online that I decided to return. Just a few clothing items. Going into this parking lot alone can be complicated as there's only 1 way in. I guess Friday afternoons are a busy time to visit the post office. Being unfamiliar with the shipping process I attempted to get guidance from the cashier staff. This was by far the coldest and unfriendly staff person I've ever met. It really boggles my mind when people choose to work in establishments where they have face-to-face contact with people when they don't care to be friendly. I will try a different post office location in the future should I need to mail anything. . read more

I do not even know where to begin... One of their outdoor mail boxes was broken into, causing my niece to never receive her birthday card and gift card, not to mention that they still have not replaced that postal box. It sits in their lot with bags shoved in it, so people will not drop mail in it. It is no better when mailing parcels inside either. I mailed my brother-in-laws birthday/gift card on 8/29/18, yet he just received it on 9/24/2018. Seriously!!! Of course I have to mention that the majority of our mail is given to our neighbors or just lost, never to be seen again. One of our packages that was "said" to be delivered by the USPS, never was. When we went to the post office to follow up, we were told it was delivered to another address than ours. However, the address they provided was not even a valid or actual address! How does this happen? I recently was told that another package was delivered to me, which I never received. I was told that I could filed a complain online at USPS, but their website was not working and would not let me submit it. I no longer use this post office as it's nothing but trouble. If I need to drive out of my way to mail parcels, so be it. read more

My mail is often late or misdelivered. I get a lot of my neighbors mail too. Recently we had a relative that was using our address for his personal mail because he didn't want creditors after him, so I sent the mail back "return to sender". They sent it back anyway crossing out my words with a sharpie marker. Ugh. The workers inside this location that work the desk are so rude. Whenever I must use the post office to send a package, I literally dread it. I have yet to meet a nice PO worker. Not to mention they don't have enough lines. I try to avoid going here. Not a pleasant experience at all. Tonight I just went out to get my mail. We have boxes with keys. My key didn't work. So is my mail being stolen because the lock was changed. No communication whatsoever. What the hell? Post office needs to get their shit together. read more

This post office should be rated a negative 5 stars. The absolute worst customer service of any business. All employees need an attitude adjustment as well as on-going classes in providing customer service. If you hate your job, quit. If you hate people, quit. If you're in it just for the money and benefits, I feel sorry for your family. read more

What is going on? Do we have a new carrier or what? Just this week - my one-of-a-kind eBay boots never arrived. I was HOME when I got the message the package was delivered. It's nowhere to be found. Two days before that I got someone else's package and the next day all our mail went to the lady next door. Now I just followed up on an Amazon order - says it was delivered just before Christmas. Where the f**k is it? I live on a cul-de-sac with all retired people. No porch pirates here. JFC. Get your $hit together. read more

I have never had so much misdelivered mail in my life as I did living in Woodbury. I'm not sure whether it was an individual carrier problem or more systematic. I started calling the post office every time I received a piece of mail addressed to someone else. Sometimes I was calling twice a week. I would also write a note on the envelope saying, "misdelivered mail: please redeliver!" That way the recipient would be aware, too. My complaints didn't seem to be taken seriously by the manager though. I even started adding the post office's phone number to the misdelivered note in case the recipient wanted to complain also. read more

The Woodbury Post Office is a disgrace. From the pothole infested parking lot to the grumpy employees. If you can avoid this post office you will have a much better day. First off when you drive in to the lot you have to zigzag to avoid the deep potholes. Whoever tries to patch the holes has no idea what they are doing. They patch it and make it 4 inches higher than the pavement or they fill it with class 5 that maybe lasts for 5 minutes. A very lame effort on the post office. The staff is as crabby as the parking lot is rotted out. They could use a complete makeover from staff to parking lot and the sidewalk is another story. They should have pushed the Federal Government harder to get this replaced years ago. I even sent an e-mail to the postmaster general, still waiting for a reply. read more

WOODBURY BRANCH...worst post office ever! Don't go there! I tried to return a package that I had just returned on Monday at Hudson Post Office. The package was from Amazon. The post office mistakenly sent it back to me. I took my receipt and package to WOODBURY Post Office to again return to sender. The customer service gal WOULD NOT HELP ME, in fact she harassed me. This clerk was clearly pathetic and should be fired. Don't go to that crappy post office location, they are the worst! Nothing but a hassle...total waste of time! Close it! read more

Wow....talk about civil service gone bad. Lady at the counter could care less about customer service. No wonder UPS and Fedex have taken over. read more

The post office is almost worthless. I ordered a tablet from Best Buy and still don't know where it is. The mailman never came to my door to attempt to deliver it and I received 3 different lies as to why. The next business day (2 days later), I wait for the mailman but never a knock. Finally, finally the post office answers their phone and tells me the mailman put the package into the large mailbox (for larger mail and packages) and I would have to go get it. I'm close by the mailbox and he is already out there and couldn't just bring it to my door?? I had to get dressed (I finally had a day off work and didn't plan on leaving that day} and get coat and boots on only to get to the mailboxes and the key inside my mailbox wouldn't unlock the big mailbox where my package is! So, this tablet has now sat inside a frozen mailbox and I have no idea when I'll be able to get it out. So much wasted time because of laziness! The tablet now is probably worthless after being frozen for days now. read more

Why are we held hostage by the Woodbury Post Ofice? We go to our daughters in Ca for about six weeks. We can put the mail on hold for 30 days then another daughter can pick it up. Then it has to be delivered for 3 days before it can be put back on hold. Our mail boxes are being changed out for new lock boxes which I understand is controlled by the post office but not until we have left. So the person that would pick up mail won't have a key. In talking to people in the post office it seem to be their way or the highway. Also they are rude and condescending. I have heard them embarrass people in front of people waiting. Many people will not go to Woodbury post office. They go to Afton, Lake Elmo, Hudson WI or other places. It would seem they are are so far from the fire they can't smell the smoke. Dick P read more

First they need to all be on the same page and secondly, we never get our mail at the same time never the same carrier. So that means 6 pm mail deliver i seriously wish oakdale could deliver my mail yjete mail is regular everyday. read more

The young man on duty at 0800 on Monday, March 7, 2016 needs to have an attitude adjustment. He was very rude and doesn't seem to like his job. I suggest that he gets a job in a library where he doesn't need to deal with people. I am out of town for February and March and have my mail held. I tried forwarding it in the past but it didn't work. I was told to have somebody pick it up every two weeks so they don't have big piles of it at the post office and that's what we have been doing for several years. They will only hold it for 30 days so I started a new hold after 32 days for the second month. It has gone smoothly every year until today. This man was loud and embarrassed my daughter and several other people this morning. There were several other complaints about this guy. He should be fired or put him in the back where he works alone. He would be better off working where he doesn't interact with the public. He is about 35 years old and has dark hair and is loud and rude. read more
