I came July 2023 to 1618 ALHAMBRA BL USPS to send an international parcel I was charged $58: parcel was open to show contents. I asked the agent what to place in contents he was in a h The parcel went to LA and came back not delivered. I came to this post office so many times to ask for a refund. Finally I waited for a manager that never called me back. she argued that she was going to go through the videos to see if I was right. When I came to drop the parcel one of the agents did all the paperwork. I asked him if I should write gift on one of the Sections he okayed that he received a package could charge me on the package came back so what I did is I send a package again without registration for $17 and the lady that recipient received a package last Monday I found incredibly bad that nobody cares and they keep rolling the ball around for me when he was in their error there a mistake in excepting a package that according to what it says, I should have write more details instead of only gift, but I asked this they claim they were going to look into the video recordings. They have never done that . The photos chose the $58 and the parcel with all the stickers when he came back to me. I took the contents and send it into another parcel for $17. The recipient received a parcel. I asked that this was extremely important because the receiving has cancer sad to say this, but that didn't make no difference for this post office, I even wrote a letter about it and sent and left all the receipts with the supposed manager because I never saw her or him one of the picture with a little dog in that yellow envelope is the picture that they received and sent to me thanking me for sending this a small gift

25 Years And Counting! SITREP This is one of those "WTF?" moments when you realize you've been patronizing an establishment for soooooo lonnnnnnng that it has escaped one's Yelp radar for the longest time! THE SETUP When I first moved to Sacramento back in 1990, I had no idea what my living situation would be 3 months from then, 6 months from then, 1 year from then, 2 years from then, etc. But what I DID know is that I would be pretty much working near & about the Downtown / Midtown area of Sacramento since I had just gotten my first permanent full-time job with the State of California. [And to make a long story-short, flash-forward 25 years and that has been PRETTY MUCH borne out as fact for the better part of 3 decades!] P.O.BOX So. In 1990, I got a small P.O. Box at the Alhambra Post Office, not thinking that this box would become my MAIN receptacle for my important mail for freakin years to come, especially during the early years of my Sacramento residency since I lived in some pretty dam sketchy neighborhoods, where my cars was broken into, neighbors were conducting drug deals on the corner, and even beloved kitties were killed (poison, target-practice, you name it) - it would take a while & increased income to find a suitable residence. But even after entering into relationships - including a marriage - successive anticipated & completed movings from Natomas to Folsom to Antelope to Downtown out to Rosemont and back to Midtown (and some months of various kinds of couch-surfing in between - due to divorce, or to the roommate-holding-the lease-getting-evicted because surprise surprise they weren't paying the rent (but it was too late by that time), etc. - there was more peace of mind in keeping this P.O.Box over the years knowing that my flow of important mail (mortgage documents, personal records, medical records, credit & contract docs, CHECKS, etc. etc.) would not be stolen, disrupted, mishandled by neighbors, or destroyed. BOX COST Interestingly enough, my P.O.Box has been one of the most inflation proof items in my life: * The small box started out at $18 for a 6 month-period, and stayed there for 10 years! * Went up to $20 for a 6 month period, but then back down to $18 for a 6-month period and stayed there for about 5 more years. * Jumped up to $24 for a 6-month period for about 5 years * Was $30 for a 6-month period for a few years; and now, * Stands at $33 for a 6-month period for the last couple of years. I have to say for the peace of mind ALONE, it has been so worth having that little box. It terms of packages / items / checks / important documents NOT stolen, NOT broken, NOT I.D.-theft'd, etc. etc., it's been priceless. KUDOS So I "THANK!" the Alhambra Post Office for 25 years of pretty good service when it comes to my P.O. Box. There are some other customer service issues I could point out, but I'm not really in the mood right now to lay out common issues that exist at all Post Offices. THE LOWDOWN I've enjoyed a very positive 25 year relationship with this Post Office.

I've been coming to this post office for about two years now, and as a small business owner who…read moreships out orders almost every other day, I rely on this location a lot since they are amazing and I've never had a problem with them! I normally bring in multiple small packages at a time, and I've always tried to be respectful, patient, and understanding of how busy postal work can be. I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt it was important to share my experience in hopes it helps improve things. There is a blonde woman who often wears a ponytail with glasses who often works near the pickup window/door, and on three separate occasions--spread out over months--she has made me feel very uncomfortable when dropping off my packages. Each time, as I place my orders on the drop-off counter, she sighs loudly, rolls her eyes, or looks annoyed. I always apologize and try to be considerate, but the reaction still makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong just by dropping off my shipments. I completely understand that long days and constant customer flow can be tiring. We're all human, and we all get frustrated. But as customers, especially those who come frequently and are always respectful, we shouldn't be made to feel like an inconvenience. This is part of the service the post office provides, and I'm simply doing what I'm supposed to do as a shipper. I truly hope she (or management) sees this and takes it as constructive feedback. I'm not upset, just hoping for a little more professionalism and kindness. A small attitude shift goes a long way, especially in a community postal office where many of us come weekly or even daily. I'd hate for other customers to feel the way I've felt during these interactions. Other than this repeated issue, the rest of the staff has always been helpful and kind!! I just hope this concern is taken seriously so everyone can feel comfortable coming here.

I have not looked at my mailbox in over three months and it's a very small box so I did not think everything would fit in there. This lady who seemed to be a supervisor wearing a green shirt practically closed a little window in my face while I was asking a question. I just thought that was incredibly rude. He was trying to answer my question fine and I don't think she had to slam the door in my face like that.

Our regular male carrier is wonderful. She is so careful with the mail and checks and make sure we don't have any outgoing. She is great. But every single time she leaves to go on vacation or takes a day off whoever substitutes for her is the worst. Yesterday, the mail carrier hands me the mail in my hand because we were sitting outside. I am sitting with my friend who lives two houses down and I have her mail in my hand. So I give her her mail and I tried to catch up with the male carrier who is already a few houses down, but he can't hear me because he has earphones on. When I finally catch up to him to let him know that he gave me the wrong mail, and where is my mail, he just looks at me" oh yeah, one house didn't have mail today so I just got turned around." that's his response. Not oh sorry let me go check on that or anything else. No he turns around and keeps delivering the mail so I'm not sure if anybody got their mail yesterday or if we all have someone else's mail because he got turned around because one house didn't have the mail? He absolutely did not care, and did not make any initiative to fix this. So I'm not sure if somebody else got my mail yesterday I didn't. So then I tried to call the Arden post office today to talk to the manager and let him know this is going on. No luck you can call there 20 times nobody will answer the phone. I will probably have to make my way over there in person, but honestly, I don't think it will help. The postal people have one job to do, and in the case of the mail carrier. It's to make sure they're giving you the right mail. It's not OK that the day your regular carrier goes on vacation everyone's mail gets delivered wrong. It is tax season, I also run a business and I don't need to have my mail all over the neighborhood . I'm sure other people don't either.

Anyway, I definitely came unprepared with my shipping label the first get-go. Collin delicately explained to me that this needs to be printed out or that a QR code needs to be provided, and that they can't receive emails from us. The second time around I was still unprepared despite printing the label. He generously help taped up my package and made a note that other post offices may not be as nice.
