Inside the city limits of Redmond, delivery by USPS is not reliable. Out for Delivery, Expected Delivery by 8:00pm REDMOND, OR February 21, 2026, 8:37 am 9 hours later... nothing. Every day, for 5 days the delivery date was specified for yesterday, 36 hours ago. Terrible weather these days. 50° plus daily highs all week. Unfortunately, this post office is very disorganized. I have had to go on there on multiple occasions to return other peoples very important mail and personally my mail has been put in the wrong mailbox at my apartment complex on several occasions. I brought the issue up to Property Management and they said for me to go to the post office and have it remedied and the post office told me that I need to go through Property Management. Essentially, it's a total circus dealing with this Post Office and for whatever reason people keep crashing their cars in the post office literally as well! They're always hiring yet have a disastrous system as to how to apply online . it has been very inconvenient working with Post Office. That being said, I will give credit to the staff who have been lovely, clearly the incompetency is out of their control. I really wish they could get more organized over there. read more

Unreliable, lazy, and incompetent drivers. Half the time the drivers just toss my packages into the canal in front of my house or shove large boxes into my mailbox that I literally had to CUT OUT. If I could choose a different office I would. read more

Bad. Worst post office. Absolutely horrible. Makes me wish it could get bought by a private company. They have lost my mail twice provide ZERO solutions. And I've called four times the last five business days and not a single person answers. Please bulldoze this building the empty lot could deliver mail better. I like this post office , despite all the other negative comments , this is my neighborhood post office , I ve gotten my whole families passports here , I ship and receive my packages here , yes there is one lady that's rude sometimes , but you can tell she's working her butt off alone , the younger dude with the glasses is super duper nice and helpful . They actually tracked down the owner of the box next to mine and were able to get my package back. Thank you to my PO Box neighbor for being so honest and a huge thank youto the ladies. read more

My package was delivered about 90 feet from my front porch out on the far corner of our yard. I would not have found it had my daughter not seen the white van driving away from my back yard. Took me a bit to find it. Come on USPS.... read more

I have never seen a more inept group of people than the Redmond USPS team... Numerous times I will have a "delivered" package to my home and it's no where to be found, or I get someone else's package at my home. On top of that my wife's Master's Degree diploma was delivered with big bold all caps "DO NOT FOLD" on the package it was delivered in... first grade reading must not be a requirement for these individuals because they are incapable of comprehending even the most basic instructions, because that envelope was folded (and not even folded well) into our box. I moved from Redmond, OR to Laguna Woods, California April 1, 2024 - before leaving I left a completed forwarding address form at the Redmond post office -I have not gotten ANY forwarded mail. Over a week ago a nice lady called & told me she would look into it, take care of it but nothing has happened - I know there had to be mail I should have gotten which worries me. I even completed the evaluation asking if I was satisfied with the results after talking to the person who said she would fix things saying I was satisfied - well I am NOT satisfied now! Packages repeatedly not delivered to our physical address despite it being on the route. It's difficult to get to the post office within office hours to pick up packages and I've had to complain about this on more than one occasion. When the carriers change they go back to leaving notices at the end of the road where our mailboxes are. read more

They never answer the phone. Like ever. And I have an Amazon package they keep trying to deliver but they're actually not. I'm in an apartment complex. They tried at 745am and the clubhouse isn't open (where the mailboxes are). Heaven forbid they actually walk over and put it on my front door. I'm on the first floor too! read more

I do have a post office closer to me in Powell Butte but if I am already heading into Redmond I will stop here instead to drop off packages. They've always had more than one checker when I have been in so even when there is a line, it seems to go pretty fast. Everyone has been friendly even when I am bringing in a PILE of packages at once (which I am sure can be somewhat annoying). I had to come out here too to get my passport and that all went smoothly. They will take your pictures here too if you'd prefer (made it sooo much easier for me than going somewhere else). I have to get it replaced soon and I will be coming here since it was so easy last time. read more

I live at Eagle Crest and our postman keeps putting my mail in my neighbors box. My neighbor has been out of town lately so I haven't been getting my mail in a timely manner. I have been late on payments because I don't get the misdirected mail until they return. This has cost me almost $100 in late charges during the last two months and credit dings, mail service is totally unreliable!! I called the Redmond Post Office during their working hours and the phone rang for over 10 minutes, then my call was dumped. Tried 3 times same result, I got dumped. IN my opinion the government might as well dump the USPS, save lots of money, and we'll do all our business online. read more

Was holding my breath on how our passport appointments would go. Our last one in Pittsburgh was at the hands of a condescending, miserable, veteran employee. This visit was the polar opposite! Diana was fantastic: super friendly, open, organized, knowledgable, flexible, and efficient. She created the smoothest, most pleasant experience. Always have a great experience when we go to the Redmond Post Office. Today however, was the best! We have a community mailbox. Our package was in one of the large lockers. The key wasn't working in the locker lock, so I called the Redmond PO. With in the hour, someone from the post office drove to our mailbox removed our package and delivered to our front door. The worst USPS office I have ever experienced! I can't believe how close they are to Bend but run completely different! Bend is run like a well oiled machine and Redmond is NOT! Having problems with your mail at Eagle Crest...well if someone as old as the grim reaper is distributing (or the lack there of) your mail that might be the problem. I received more mail for my neighbors then I did my own mail! Redmond post office is a joke...take all your mail and packages to Bend and save yourself some heart ache! read more

Always patient and efficient even at the most hectic times. We have a closer post office but choose to drive an extra 10 minutes to Redmond!

Same thing, this time kids conned Daddy into ordering more "stuff" off Amazon while I was out of town. Again, it was delivered to mailbox at vacation rental. I called again to Redmond post office but got Beth this time. And again, AMAZING SERVICE!!!! She told me she would call carrier and retrieve our package.
