Underpaid and overworked. Post offices are struggling nationwide with staffing after COVID. They work hard for benefits because the wages are not great compared to the private sector. Unfortunately that has lead to the hiring of some questionable staff. Regardless, the majority work very hard and love what they do. The work of all delivery services is not as easy as most think. Lots of details to getting your packages to you. .78 to mail a letter anywhere in the US is one of the cheapest things you can do. Package pricing is lower than ups/fed ex. Lighten up and appreciate those that cater to our laziness of shopping online! read more

Well package was to be delivered on Friday but wasn't and then said package was not delivered on Saturday because factory was closed at 7:50 AM and I did not realize post office attempts delivery that early. Then said package was delivered Saturday when I checked tracking later that day. Then tracking said not delivered and would be delivered next business day. So checked on package on Monday at noon and still tracking shows not delivered. Looks like it will be FedEx or UPS for future shipments. Apparently the post office still has the package but will give them a few more days be fore I start insurance claim. read more

This is the worst mail delivery I've ever had. I have recieved mail for different people on a bunch of times. I always write wrong address and put it in the out going mail slot. This time I got the message from ebay that the package I ordered was delivered. But it wasn't in my box. I believe that the mail person put in in someone else's box. So now I don't have the item that I have paid for and have been waiting for. Bad management, probably DEI hire. read more

Absolutely the worst Post Office in the Nation! Mail travels from all over the world only to end up in this hell-hole. We pay premium rates for our mail service to be delivered in a timely matter, yet even this office says they don't have regular deliveries because of lack of staff. FedEx, UPS, Home Depot, etc. are able to deliver daily. Fire this Post Master! Addition: The employees at the front counter hate it if you tell them that you have the USPS app. This app tells you what mail is coming, and what you should have received. I have mail that is 2-weeks overdue. If I don't go down there and get it, I will never receive it. Merry Christmas! read more

Unbelievable, our carrier routinely marks packages as "delivery attempted no one home" AND THEY HAVENT EVEN GOT OUT OF THEIR TRUCK. My home office is right inside the front door of my apartment where I can see the front door the entryway, the driveway the street in front I see everything that goes on and I would know if somebody had tried to deliver a package, I work 6 AM to 6 PM and sit right by the front door 6 days a week yet because the carrier is such a lying lazy person I have to physically go to the post office to get my packages that the driver says they have attempted and did not. Liars and the people that work the desk even told me "yeah if they have to get out of their truck they're not going to do that" read more

I have Informed Delivery, so my mail is scanned at the Post Falls USPS and an email comes in around 7:00 am showing what is supposed to be delivered that day. It is now taking up to 24 days to get from the post office to my mailbox! What's the problem?! Too many new employees that aren't being trained properly? Are they stashing mail in the delivery vehicles or leaving it at the post office for three weeks?! This is the worst USPS in all the cities I've ever lived in!!! The delivery service from Post Falls Post Office is horrible. They continue to scan packages as "delivered" and then deliver them days later. Management needs to address and correct these issues. Okay I would give 2 stars just because the guy DJ was very understanding and helpful. On the OTHER HAND... I totally get the people who have made reviews about the lazy mail delivery person.... I was supposed to get a package for my anniversary.... Was very excited to get it and when I checked the tracking this morning all was well till..... TILL THE AFTERNOON STRUCK THE CLOCK!!!!.... It said it was undeliverable... Checked the status, why was it undeliverable...well the mail lady was too incompetent to walk out of her little chitty chitty bang bang and marked it as " no one lives at the address". Dang!!!! If I could give no stars I would. Absolutely terrible. They will not deliver packages. I have no idea why. But they won't do it. Super frustrating! We recently moved here and within the two months of being Post Falls residents we've come to learn how utterly terrible the post office is. We have had multriple packages lost...just never came. As well as numerous packages delayed... some by weeks! It'll show the packages at the carrier facility, then out for delivery, but then oops...package delay. then they show up 2-3-4 days later. Honeslty it's quite ridiculous. Two other times the packages that did show up on time were completely destroyed. One package was from family forwarding a surplus of our mail from our former residence. She even paid to put it in a box so it would be protected... arrived with a huge hole in the box and the Mail falling out of it. Who knows whats actually missing from the box?! Another was my daughter Christmas present... a doll. The shipping box was complete crushed and the doll inside smushed. Another incident showed my package delivered, but it wasn't. I got a notice saying the carrier tried to knock on the door but no one answered and I need to pick it up at the post office. Lies. We homeschool and I basically never leave the house during the day. No one came to my door. Homie was lazy and didn't want to get out of his car. So I drove to the post office but no package. They said...oh it'll be at your house tomorrow. comeon bro. Yeah, it came the next day but they made me waste like 45 mins waiting in line for a package that wasn't even there. Yea so the post office here is garbage...not a fan. read more

If I could give a negative number of stars these idiots would get just that. A bunch of unhappy, disgruntled babies. Amazon has had to replace countless purchases that this post office has "lost". Watching the tracking of shipments scheduled to be delivered on any given day will not arrive for another week or so. This is the perfect example of poorly managed government workers. The Post Falls post office is the worst Post Office I have ever dealt with. I don't know how many times I have been sitting in my office waiting for a package only to find out that they said they had attempted to deliver the package and said they could not do so. I was sitting right here waiting for it. We don't get any of our mail if the exact suite is not on our mail even though our company name is on everything. The worst service!!!! I keep having to drive to the post office to pick up my packages because I have a little bit of ice on my driveway. No matter if I clean up the ice or not it's still never good enough. UPS and FedEx never have a problem with a little ice. The people in the post office are great and helpful but the person delivering my mail and packages I'm pretty sure is illiterate. Probably a twenty percent chance of getting my mail or packages correctly. Always getting sent to the right number but the wrong street name. Sometimes gets put in my neighbors mail box. read more

Worst post office I've ever dealt with. Filled out a temporary stop mail form and the guy "lost" the form cause my mail was still delivered while I was away.
