Since the parking lot is often full I will just park in the street. Also, the staff is beyond rude. I have been there about six times in the past two months and I have met two nice ladies and two outwardly rude, sour-faced staff members with terrible attitudes. I have worked in customer service and there is this thing called "faking it" when you can't stand someone. But I am never rude when in there so I am not entirely sure what the issue is other than just hating the job. Today I asked for an address sticker to put over the sticker that was originally on the box. Then I had the audacity to ask for tape since I haven't purchased any since moving. Evidently, they are not supposed to give you tape. I found this out when the guy huffed and puffed while getting it. I apologized since he was so obviously pissed off then he said, ironically, that it was "no problem". Obviously, it was. That is when he told me he wasn't supposed to give out tape. When I had originally walked up to the counter I handed him a mailer I was purchasing and I mentioned that I had a Netflix DVD to send back. He just left it there when I was done so I walked out and looked around for a mailbox. I could've pushed him over the edge had I asked if he could toss it in with other stuff. In conclusion, I will be on Google looking for an alternative to going to this post office. Ain't nobody got time for that! Unless, of course, I need an excuse to torment someone for kicks. Service on my visit was highly competent and friendly. Finding the entrance was tricky because there wasn't any outside signage that I'm aware of. You can go through the revolving door on the SW corner of the building then take the first right as you step inside. Or, go in the east entrance through a courtyard wedged between this building and the federal courthouse. Really cool area. Stunning early morning light. Epic architecture that shows off a level of grandeur and sophistication not typically associated with downtown Spokane.
