Service on my visit was highly competent and friendly. Finding the entrance was tricky because there wasn't any outside signage that I'm aware of. You can go through the revolving door on the SW corner of the building then take the first right as you step inside. Or, go in the east entrance through a courtyard wedged between this building and the federal courthouse. Really cool area. Stunning early morning light. Epic architecture that shows off a level of grandeur and sophistication not typically associated with downtown Spokane.

I just keep checking. The employees are always nice about it, but no one solves the problem. So, I have a po box.. Which semi-regularly has mail lost. Not ok. If I get a package, there's a 50-50 chance they'll tell me. Also not ok. But like I said... This is the Postal Service.

I had been waiting several days for an important, high-value package -- a laptop -- and, because I am currently caring for my sister who is in home hospice, I had very little time to spare to keep checking on it. When I visited the post office, Sarah took immediate action on my behalf: she personally went out and met the mail carrier while she was still out on her route, retrieved my package directly from her, and brought it back to the post office herself so that I could have it right away. This level of initiative, dedication, and genuine care for a customer's needs is not something you see every day, especially during such a difficult time for my family. Sarah didn't just do her job -- she went out of her way to solve my problem on the spot, and I am incredibly grateful for her effort and kindness. I hope this letter serves as a strong and heartfelt commendation for Sarah's excellent work. Unfortunately that has lead to the hiring of some questionable staff. Regardless, the majority work very hard and love what they do. The work of all delivery services is not as easy as most think. Lots of details to getting your packages to you. .78 to mail a letter anywhere in the US is one of the cheapest things you can do. Package pricing is lower than ups/fed ex. Lighten up and appreciate those that cater to our laziness of shopping online!
