Great library!…read more There is a children's library downstairs, and the adult library is upstairs. They have a good selection of books, they also use interlibrary loan so they can get other books that they don't have in-house delivered. They have a good selection of films, they even have video games which I haven't seen a lot of libraries that have that. They have a library of things, which means they have some small devices and appliances that you can check out and use. The librarians are really helpful and friendly. For the kids library downstairs they have a lot of really great events and toys and computers that the kids can use. It's also located right next to a park, so you can make a day of it, you can come and check out the library, then do a picnic, then play on the playground. So why four stars instead of five? Well, the public parking lot for the library has a time limit! And so if you spend too long here you will get a ticket. Other than that this library is pretty sweet.

The library belongs to a larger network and can easily transfer books between branches or request books from outside libraries if needed. Bonus this location offers Fit and Fall classes twice a week. My years have taught me to always have a few good books to read somewhere. Fast forward to two kids later and I laugh at the notion of ever immersing myself in television or literature again. Now I just want good, easy, important and fun activities for my free (yah right) time. I wasn't expecting much out of a small community library, however this branch far exceeded any preconceived notion. One, the grounds are beautiful. It's apparent that there is a team behind the library that works to make being outside just as peaceful as inside. I often spend hours with my youngest right outside the library door while my oldest works in Lego Club. Yes I said it, Lego Club. Are you kidding me Liberty Lake Library? Not only have you pinpointed the one thing my son loves above all else in this world, you created a community for him. Priceless in my eyes.

I typically would always buy new books but heard about a sale here and checked it out earlier this year...one dollar for four kids' books; we came home with eight total. Many of the books we purchased were similar to ones on her Amazon wish list for a minimum of five dollars apiece and we got them for $.25 each -- wow!! Today we brought three books to trade in (easy process) which resulted in a trade of three children's books, including one that is on Amazon for $10 (see pictured) and is in excellent condition. We left with two Pinkalicious books as well, which are popular and around $5-10 new each online too. I love supporting local and a great deal. Thanks, Alex and Megan! (Great customer service!)

The coffee drinks seemed watered down or flavorless. To be more cost effective and environmentally friendly, consider large coffee cups and froth designs. Be creative! I feel like the drinks they made they haven't tasted. The food; average with a side of chips. Nothing exciting about it. Overall it's a nice place to hangout, but lacks the want for food or drink.

They carry a great selection of books, stationary, and even their own merchandise. I found the books to be priced pretty normally, following MSRP. I was greeted pleasantly when I walked in and checked on a few times while I was shopping, but never obnoxiously. It's located in a great little shopping center with plenty of restaurants and parking. I absolutely loved the few minutes. I had to kill here and can't wait for my next visit should I find myself in Coeur d'Alene again!
