It's a small post office but I've lived all over the nation so I've seen that before. I reserved and paid for a PO Box online and brought the paperwork and two proofs of ID, as stated on the post office website. I'm opening this box for the premium services offered (street address) for my business and other personal needs. The Post Office representative was surprised that I wanted a box outside of the city where I live and I explained to her it's for privacy. She said okay. Disclosure, there's no requirement that a person get a box in a city or even state close to them. It's not "address locked" but she seemed uneasy. It gave me pause. They're a federal organization. The Postmaster of this location told me she only issues boxes on certain days and asked if I could return. She said they don't have enough boxes and that the number that was assigned to me online doesn't match what they have in the post office. That's wild! Again, this is not a mom and pop organization, this is the Federal Government! So yeah, not impressed with first interaction with the representatives of this location. I moved here last year and so far I've had no bad experiences. The ladies working there are always very polite. They are very attention to detail. They even remember the family who used to use the PO Box I use now. I see a lot of negative reviews but every time I've gone, the customers who are there are always having nice conversations with the staff. It's a small town so I'm sure they've built a lot of rapport with the locals. The ladies working there have always been very polite and helpful when I've gone in. I never thought that people could work so poorly. Out of ten parcels sent to me, I receive one or only two. I'm writing to the sender. Please write the address correctly. The sender takes a photo of me showing that he wrote the address correctly and the box number correctly. Well, I never hear from them. I wait for this mail for 2-3 days, track it, and then they just send it back an hour after receiving it. Even though I've been living here for years, I don't know them from my face, and they know my box number, but they still send the package back. I've been living here for four years and using this post office, and I've never encountered anything worse. I haven't received a single bank card. They send everything back, even though the address is written correctly. read more

African American older lady who is so rude ! Slammed the door when I was asking about a package. She responded rude and literally SLAMMED the door. I will be reaching out to file a complaint this is unacceptable. If you are miserable and hate your job just say that or find a new job ! read more

lots of comments here of people talking about how rude the people are over at this post office & yet iv never noticed that myself, maybe its because you get what you put out.. bring negativity you will get it in return. one thing important to note is they could fix this if they wanted to but the post-master at this location who has retired would always get to the packages the same day they arrived & now that hes not working here anymore the packages dont get touched until the next day, after delivered. read more

The lady there is always so rude unless I catch her in a good mood. The only nice lady is the one in the back and I think that's the supervisor but it's such a drag coming here and dealing with that lady. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE FOR A PASSPORT!!!!!!!!! I called the morning of my appointment to ask a couple of questions, and the woman, Claire, stated that all appointments for the day were cancelled. She stated they were understaffed and the passport person couldn't come in because they had COVID. She further elaborated that the person has had covid, but they had too small of staff to have someone call all of the appointments and cancel. So we would have driven an hour to get to this post office, to then find out our appointment had been cancelled, if I didn't call. This place seems very disorganized and way too understaffed to be providing passport services. I should have read all of the reviews about this place prior to booking my appointment. read more

Had a passport appointment for my son at 10:00 am and then I got a phone call at 8:30 am that morning to tell me to come in at 11 am instead cause the clerk had an emergency! WORST customer service. The old lady with white long hair is extremely rude. She has attitude with all of her customers for absolutely no reason. Not only to myself, but to others standing inline and dealing with her. If you ask her a question she gets snippy as if it's not her job to answer the questions. On top of that, packages are given to the wrong people ALL THE TIME! There is a Facebook group dedicated to misplaced packages from the post office because it's out of hand. USPS head honchos need to go in there and regulate what they're doing and while they're at it, fire a couple of people and get good ones. read more

If I could give this place 0starts I would ,The white old lady with dark hair and glasses is extremely rude I got to my appointment 15 early and because I didn't have my passport application filled out she told me to leave and make another appointment ,The application took me 2 min to fill out and I still was on time to my appointment and the lady said there was no way I could be attended , although I was on time to my appointment,she wouldn't even call someone else for me to speak to and let alone I only came to this place because it's the soonest location I can schedule a appointment ,the location in Little Rock i totally recommend they heard me out and knew who exactly I was talking about since a-lot of people complain about this lady , they were able to help me out and get my stuff done ! read more

Pinon hills used to have a decent pist office bit now you're lucky if you get your packages. Several times now my son who owns his home here for the past 12 years has used his home address to get his packages delivered now all of a sudden the ones that are supposed to be delivered to the street address ( complete with ups box on the other side of the fence) are automatically sent to the post office where upon arrival they are rejected for a incomplete address and returned to sender. Seriously. ? After 12 years suddenly packages can't go to the physical address??? And get sent back? He's had the post office box for many years and hasn't ever had things returned until late last year when this started to be a issue. So all we ever see is one person max most days working there and they are super slow. I see the postage stamp rate just went up but the service sucks if there were zero stars I'd have given a zero. read more

Our small town Post Office use to be GREAT! The postmaster retired and it has really gone down hill. Lucky if the mail is in boxes by 2pm. And I and several of my friends never get our weekly adds until the end of week. Seems like they just don't care or they need more people. Service was so friendly and efficient, now it is not. read more
