Lost some of my packages and we had to file a claim which they never answered!!! We also had to pay for the items just because they said delivered!!! We had well over 14 items we ordered from overseas and most of them showed up but about 4 didn't,! No need to claim packages that are missing if they weren't not to mention they were amongst the less expensive items I ordered !!! They have yet to call me back since October 8 , 2024 !!! When you've got something to mail, the post office is here to get that done for you. Easy, right? What else would you like to know about this particular outlet of the United States Postal Service? They do not have an automated vending kiosk in the lobby. They have a small parking lot. They only have two desks and no good space to queue. They do have post office boxes. Lots of them. They do have a drive through drop with the mailbox on the correct side for drivers. The clerk who helped me was pleasant. Hooray for a $24 overnight envelope to New Hampshire. Man what an absolute garbage US post office experience. Why am I surprised? Staff is sooooo slow, impolite and unresponsive. When they see you from the back waiting at the counter you will undoubtedly receive a dirty look along with a painstakingly slow walk to the front. Ever seen the sloth in that bunny-cop animated movie? That's how they work too. When you go to purchase your postage and mail your stuff they don't even make recommendations to you for cheaper methods. My recent package was clearly small enough to be placed in or have contents transferred to a flat-rate box which would've saved me $5 on postage. But they don't even think about it! The man I've dealt with before always has headphones dangling around his ears or neck as if I've interrupted his private phone call. And don't you dare ask for unique or unusual stamps because they will not be happy that you're wasting their time. The only reason I won't give them one star is because I have to come back here - it's the closest to work by far and I don't mind "supporting" the snail mail system - I like sending letters the old fashioned way. But for real, US government needs to drop the USPS like a bad habit. Privatize ASAP! read more

Fui a mandar un paquete a esta oficina y para empezar, el trato de una persona que trabaja viendo TODOS LOS DÍAS a distintas personas tiene que ser diferente (así no te gusta tu trabajo, pues busca otro, no seas un estiércol andante y busca un empleo mejor) el caso es que el señor no sabemos si por X razón es racista o no anda de buen humor pero su trato hacia mi fue horrible. Me hizo tirado el papel donde anotas la dirección hacia donde va y quien lo envía. El nombre del señor es Eddie, edad como 45- 50 años, blanco, alto, anda una alergia en el cuello o no se la verdad. Solo le pido a ese señor que deje su racismo a un lado, no le quité ni un pedazo de piel con haber ido a dejar el paquete, busca otro trabajo si no te gusta eso, tienes muchas opciones. Worst postal experience of my life. Eddie (tall, white male employee) was incredibly rude and unprofessional towards my Asian MIL who was trying to send a letter internationally. He raised his voice and cut us off when we asked questions about why he refused to send the letter because it was not all addressed in English (even though the country was written in English). He made rude comments under his breath when my MIL made a phone call in her native language to try to get help translating the address (which he told us was required). There was no one in line behind us and no reason to be rude and impatient aside from his personal prejudice. In the past my MIL has sent international mail as it was written without any issue. It was clearly a power trip from Eddie, and his behavior towards an elderly Asian woman was completely unacceptable. read more

Worst post office I have ever been to. The employees are completely incompetent and rude. I have been here multiple times and never received good service, but I figured I can live with people being unfriendly, I just need to mail my packages and leave. Well, this last time ensured I won't be returning. I had to mail a very important document with a pre-paid envelope included. I explained what I needed to do and the man at the counter, in a rush, put some stamps on the package and told me it was good to go. He then charged me $5.75 for the stamps, enough for priority, as I requested. I called the destination of my package to ensure everything was good to go a few days later and they informed me that my return envelope had insufficient stamps. This is unacceptable. I now have to go to a different location (no way I'm going back here), purchase more stamps, and then PAY to send these stamps to my destination. Absolutely ridiculous. In case you're wondering, there was no reason for him to rush. It was around 2:00 and I was the only customer in the store. So for him to not only rush me through but to make a mistake by rushing me through just further shows what a waste of time and money going to this post office is. read more

Reading all the negative reviews, lol it's the post office! I go in and get the service I need with no problem, if I have questions they answer, I have a PO Box there and the guy was very helpful. They may appear a little grumpy and short at first but I greet everyone with a smile and great energy and it's reciprocated, I'm only in there for a hot minute and back out the door. Since all the changes with carriers last year, mail delivery has been nothing short of unsatisfactory. Either missed deliveries, incorrectly delivered mail or no deliveries at all. Mail is delivered as early as 9am or as late as 5pm. No consistent carrier and no consistent mail time. This leads to total unacceptable service. I can't mail my mail from my box due to the inconsistencies and ineptitude. We are one neighbor of 326 homes, yet our community was split up and we lost a very competent and consistent carrier. I understand the need for change, I don't, however understand the lack of care put into the daily job. Our regular carrier does a fine job, but she's not the carrier the majority of the week. I'd like to stop getting all my neighbors mail, get my mail and have a more consistent time frame in which this is done. Too lacking, in too many ways. read more

This pains me to leave a negative review for any Post Office, and generally, this one has been pretty good. But this is not about the staff or their demeanor, but this is about mail delivery. I mailed 4 letters along with 2 packages I had tracked. The packages arrived - late - but the letters did not. This happened at another post office last year too. Now, I go out of my way to send mail in the South Charlotte area because vanishing or wrongly delivered mail. Since this has been happening, I used to mail all of my letters 2 day but that got too expensive, so now I take a photo of my letters being dropped off at the post office. New to the area and state and I have never seen such sorry postal service. Someone needs to come and inspect so they can get their act together. read more

You would think the employees would be nice being a small town post office. I have been coming here for years and the employees are grumpy and miserable. Especially Harold. Would it kill them to say hello, goodbye and thank you? It's the same every time I come here. Today I came in to buy stamps to mail Christmas cards and he gave me West Virginia stamps. When I asked to have them exchanged for holiday stamps they obliged but of course as always, no "goodbye" or "have a nice day." I said "goodbye" and got nothing. Basic etiquette people. read more

Bunch of jerks working there. Not sure if "Arthur" is gone but hope he is. Aside from him anyone who is working there is a pain in the butt. They all seem to hate life and people, probably not the best career move to be there if that is the case. Biggest problem is they overcharge all the time! Simple letter mailing and get charged $3.50 the prices flash on the small screen in front of me and I see .71 cents but they quickly pick the higher priced method even when you say you would like the least expensive method. Rip off scammers. Not sure why the people who hate working there even give a rats ass about up charging customers anyways it is not like the get a commission. I have been to this location few times by now so I think now is a the time to review it :) This is the Pineville post office in a hidden spot. It is however very convenient IMO. I entry through front door and I got the feeling it's a small town post office which is good thing. There is big area on the right and in the front for all the PO boxes and there is another door to the left to enter the office area where we can buy stamps and supply. There were couple of people ahead of me. I think there are only couple of people who works here in the front office because I saw same folks every time I came here so far. Anyways, employees here are helpful and get line moving pretty quickly. read more
