There is no excuse for a package that is supposed to be delivered to Charlotte, NC and then to Fort Mill, SC to move backwards and go all the way to Cleveland, OH. Postmaster refuses to do or talk to the carrier. Caught carrier texting and talking on her phone. Wondered why she was sitting on the road, at our mailboxes so long. So walked up behind the mailboxes and there she was on her phone. Postmaster doesn't think it's a big deal. NC law says it is. She said it would just be my word against hers. Guess I'll make sure and get a video of her doing it next time and take it to Raleigh.

Their entrance is open that no limit of customers lining up. No lunch break close. Normal working hours easy to follow. After not even a wait, they kept telling us sorry for us to wait. I guess thats considered "close" living in Charlotte. I came here to return a Shein order. My package was for "scan and drop off" but I didn't have it sealed and needed to buy tape. The Post offices I've been to usually sells tape and various other packaging items inside but this location did not. The mail lady was kind enough to staple my package shut and applied the shipping label over the staples to seal it off more.

There is ample parking, it's not a high traffic location, and I was in and out extremely quickly. There was a gentlemen employee that was super polite and not in a rush which was a pleasant surprise for a USPS employee. There was also a female employee who definitely knows her stuff, is very efficient, but makes you feel a bit rushed. The interior is very clean and organized. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because they wouldn't let me use their tape to tape the paper label onto a box (it wasn't a sticker label). I had to buy tape from the store there even though I only needed a tiny bit and they had plenty of tape on their desk.

Aside from mailing a package to Raleigh with an expected delivery date of 12/17/24 that's still not been delivered, I spoke to the same clerk I just had an unpleasant experience with. I gave her the tracking number for the package as the sender confirmed that the package hadn't been returned to her and per her research, the package was still at this location available for pickup. The clerk adamantly told me that the package had been returned to Baltimore though usps.com said that the package was still here. She didn't check in the back nor did she ask me to check at the blue door. She just blew me off the same way I asked if she had Toni Morrison stamps & she handed me Underground Railroad stamps, making a comment that she was closing at 4 pm; it was no later than 3:50, & my receipt confirms this. I was here today only because they stayed open later than the post office closest to me. Seeing how she was engaging with a customer ahead of me in line, something told me to check my tracking number again. The package was JUST returned to sender on Thursday, 12/19/24. When I told this to the clerk as I was shipping an envelope, she said nothing. No apology. Just nonchalantly handed me my receipt & mentioned that the tracking number was on the receipt. Someone higher than the Postmaster for this location needs to get her asap & clean house from top to bottom! The service has been horrible for YEARS with the exception of 1, 2 people at the most. How they are allowed to continue this long is truly diabolical!
