It's busy in the morning as it opens. It took awhile for another person to open another lane. Alberto is very sweet and helpful

I went on 03/25/2024 around ~ 9:10am. I needed a bigger box for the items I was shipping together. Usually the boxes in the front normally work but my items were too big this time, so had to do my first round of waiting in line to see if they had a bigger box in the back. Alberto was very sweet and took the time to look around in the back for a bigger one of their boxes, but I guess this place is smaller than the San Bruno one and they did not have a larger selection of boxes. I had to grab one of the recycled boxes that cost more. I brought my own tap; however, forgot a pen - no big deal as they usually have stations with them and I can write address down once there. A family of six clearly filling paperwork out for their passport and working a lady there. Instead of going all the way around the family in line I waited behind the gentleman that was working with Fee since they were about to finish up from what I could see. They clearly know each other and talk for a little bit during the transaction and it finally gets to my turn to go up but she's trying to have this older lady that was at the other end who was clearly picking envelopes out and not ready. I went up to her counter and let her know was actually before her but just didn't want to go all the around this larger family when she was right there. But before I could really say anything she takes the box from and snaps at me for not having the address information filled out. Yes, the pen desk area is being used my a family and to your coworker is clearing helping them. I explain I needed a pen since the pens are being used - she throws a pen at me and tells me to fill out everything over there. She waves the older woman over and helps!! her finish packaging her items up and everything. I have to go back in the que and thank goodness I get Alberto who radiates joy and love for happiness. I finished up my transaction with him. I am not sure what is Fee's problem but she needs to take customer service lessons and points from Alberto about loving life.

Lisa is the friendly postal worker to help get your package to you in the late afternoon on a Saturday Christmas Eve. Thanks Lisa!

It's Saturday December 24th at 3:30 PM in the afternoon and a couple of people still have Christmas Eve packages to deal with. How are we going to deal with them? Knock on the post office box pick up door and wait patiently for the very kind and gracious Lisa to come to our aid. While some people have complaint's about Postal workers I can definitely say without reservations Pacifica's Manor Post Office really came though today! I cannot thank Lisa enough for taking time to answer the knock and help out us lace comers for our Christmas packages. Well Lisa! Well done Pacifica Main Post office! Well done US Postal Service. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Pardon the angle but the sign says "we open at 10AM" even though online they're listed as opening at 9AM on Saturdays.

Best post office ever. Courteous service, small town feel, right by the cliffs above the ocean and Pacific Manor shopping center.

Lost packages, rude window staff. I hate having to come here to pick up packages. Would rather go to the dentist.

Came here earlier to send out a package. It's a cute little size, in a great location right next to the beach, and very helpful workers. :)

This is a complaint specifically about an employee named Ken…read more I had dropped off a very important package and soon afterward realized I needed to retrieve it because the delivery address needed to be corrected. Returning, I explained that I needed to get the package back and Ken told me, "You can go check the back yourself, but I don't see nothin' back there." A pretty strange response. Another employee actually interceded and told him that customers aren't allowed in the back. She went and checked for maybe 30 seconds, returned and said the packages had already been picked up. Ken then told me the pickup had happened at 4:00. But I had my receipt with me, and it showed a timestamp of 4:11. I showed that to Ken and also explained that when we originally scanned the packages, the machine specifically told us the final pickup for the day had already occurred. So I had a pretty good reason to believe the package was still somewhere in the store. I wasn't upset about the overlooked package, either. What bothered me was that when I brought up the time discrepancy, instead of doing his job and investigating it further, Ken became very dismissive and argumentative. He kept questioning why I was still asking about it because somebody had already checked. He repeatedly said, "I don't understand why you're bringing up the time. They already checked, you saw that, right? Yet you're still here talking about it. I don't understand why you keep bringing up the time." I told him very calmly that I wasn't trying to argue with him. I explained that this was an important package and I needed to make sure it went to the correct destination. But he continued arguing with me to the point that I finally just said, "Let's end this conversation," and walked outside. I called FedEx customer service, gave them the tracking number and they confirmed that the package was still at the store. I went back inside and fortunately a different employee helped me. He was very nice (wish I remembered his name), and he found the package in probably 20 seconds. Ken was standing at the next counter when the employee brought it out. I said, "Looks like the package was still here." Rather than apologizing or even acknowledging what had happened, Ken became defensive again and said, "Yeah, but I wasn't the one who looked. I told you that you could go look yourself and then got in trouble for it." Which is unequivocally rude - and bizarre. Now, I would've given this review one star but I need to give the store manager credit for handling my complaint extremely well. He was kind, apologetic and took what happened seriously. He told me this was not how employees are trained to interact with customers and that the issue would be addressed. I told him I was there at 5 PM pretty much on the dot and that he could check security footage. He said he would and I trust that he will. It made an upsetting experience a little bit better and I appreciate that tremendously.

FYI: They have moved to a new place in St. Francis Sq. Daly City…read more Pros: I really like this Daly City branch of Alas. Courteous staff in dealing personally or by phone. Helpful in unloading and hauling of boxes from your car even if parked very far from the store. (You got that San Jose drop-off customers! In San Jose Alas Cargo, there is no one there to help you unload your boxes.). As far as shipping itself, I have yet to experience a lost package in Alas. I'm sending 3-4 boxes a year with Alas in the last 5 years. I had a damaged content once, but it's because of my sloppy cushioning and packaging. (Expect the worst case where your box can be at the bottom of the stack in their shipping containers. So package fragile items very well.) ETA they give is accurate. My shipments to Southern Luzon always get there in 5-6 weeks. Cons: Their new location in St. Francis Square is kinda smallish, sharing an already crowded space with RCBC remittance. Also depending on time of day, it is a real pain finding parking spot close to their store (not really a problem as they will help you haul your box anyways from your car.)

This shipping company will definitely get you traumatized to send anything international. I scheduled my pick up a week before and said they'll call a day before the scheduled pick up for a time confirmation but never received a phone call from them til I have to call them on the scheduled day just to tell me that they will just pick up my box the next day. Some BS. They will decide whenever they wanna pick up your item so stay on your ground for your scheduled appointment.

To start FedEx in general is difficult to deal with. The…read moretracking system for the packages gives you a vague understanding of where it is and when it will be delivered frequently, the update is "it's in transit" with no other explanation. The details on how it's getting from point A to point B used to be more detailed but now it's not. The customer service line tends to hang up on you rather than transfer you to a live customer service agent. It requires information that puts you into a different answer loop than actually transferring you to an agent when you want to talk to somebody, especially if you have a complaint. I personally had a very difficult time even finding the FedEx customer service number on their website. The delivery center in South San Francisco frequently does not deliver at the same day they get it even if they get it at 2 o'clock in the morning it probably won't go out until the next day and I don't understand why that happens with my packages. USPS is much more efficient delivering my packages in South San Francisco then FedEx. When I look at my USPS tracking and it shows that it had arrived at station early in the morning, like two or 3 o'clock in the morning, I know that I would be receiving it later on that day. My most recent experience with FedEx had them not send a package out to be delivered on a Saturday delivery and it was delayed till Monday. This delay was logged in about 8 o'clock in the morning but post timed till 11:30, almost to show that delivery was attempted, but their reason was the business was closed and they could not make that delivery. This was going to a UPS store that is open seven days a week. When I finally contacted the customer service line, they said that business indicated that the address it was going to belong to a business that was only open Monday through Friday. I have never had this excuse from USPS.
