My mom went to this post office to mail in a phone. She already had a label and everything. She just needed to pay for a box and mail it out. The woman who was taking care of her (Rozlyn) was rude and wasn't helpful at all. She didn't even look at the label nor did she ask her what she needed help with. She simply looked at the phone and said you need to go to FedEx. So she went to FedEx and FedEx told her to go to Post Office. So she spent the whole day going back and forth. read more

There is not a day that I am not here. I like how convenient this place is, as I can just drop off my boxes and be done, without having to wait in the long line that takes place most of the time. If I could, I would give this place a -5 stars. I moved to the Waterford area back in 2013 and since then I've always had issues with the particular office and its carriers. Where to start? My carrier (or carriers since I never have the same mailman or woman) has lost plenty of my packages and some really important ones like my fiancés texts books. It was just a few days before classes started and my fiancé ordered text books from Amazon and she had been tracking them for the past week. So finally said they arrived and we went to go grab them from the mail box and they weren't there! She frantically called the post office because school was just in a few days. They kept telling her that the package had gone to the right address and to maybe check the front office at our condo and so we did and still nothing. The next day we called Amazon and then double checked the post office... still nothing. In a last effort we confronted the carrier about the missing package. He explained that he wasn't the person to deliver the mail the day before. Since we live in a condominium, he checked the near by boxes to see if there was a chance that it was misplaced and long behold... it was in the wrong box and that was just the first time they misplaced packages! We are annual pass holders at Disney World and the first year we purchased annual passes we were expecting Disney bands to come in and they never did. Like before we were tracking them and we double checked the delivery info to make sure we had the correct mailing address and we called the post office. They ensured us that it was delivered and to check out condos front office. Long story short, we never found them and we reported them missing and Disney was kind enough to replace them. My fiancé was expecting medication in the mail and that too was misplaced and placed into the wrong mailbox too. Theres been so many issues its hard to remember them all and when we try to go the post office and or annex to fix a issue or retrieve mail theres always just so much attitude from the employees and they act like since they didn't lose it personally, they don't have to try to help us. God forbid you receive a pink slip in the mail too, its like heading to get teeth pulled at the dentist. All in all I wish this office had better attitude and paid more attention or even cared more when handling peoples mail! read more

One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a post office. The first employee that helped me was a bit rude, but tolerable. She did assist when I needed it, although she acted as if all the questions I asked were the dumbest questioned she had ever heard, at least she helped. It wasn't until I got to the desk that I encountered the most unpleasant person I have ever met. This woman was in every way shape and form, disgusting. Everything was the most inconvenient thing to her. I wanted to know the difference in shipping cost for a bag verses a box, she had to WRITE DOWN the prices before she could tell me... Letting out a huge sigh every time she wrote something down. Once I figured out what I wanted to do, she gave me the box and told me "go over there now so I can take the next person in line." There was NO ONE else in line... A minute later, I returned with my box ready to ship. I generally consider myself a pleasant person. If someone is helping me, I'm going to be as nice as possible. It's common courtesy. This woman was basically making fun of and mocking the fact I was trying to be nice. Responding with "lord have mercy on me." She couldn't even bring her lazy self to scan a box appropriately. Instead she grabbed the scanning gun like I would imagine a retarded t-Rex would and used her pinky finger to press the button. This woman made me feel awful for everything I did or said, and yet I still continued to act as nice as possible. Once the transaction was completed, I said "thank you very much, have a great day." To which she responded to with a grunt. Not a grunt in acknowledgement. A grunt you would here from a warthog, or your 80 year old grandfather as he falls asleep on his recliner. I honestly wanted to flip her off and yell F**k you as I left. I'm sorry you have such a hard job.... at the post office.... sitting down.... making good money.... doing barely anything..... with government benefits.... and ultimate job security.... These guys are asleep at the switch. I mailed a letter to a bona fide address in 32828 on Nov. 12. This is an address I have used before, the person lives there. A week later it had not been received so I sent another letter on Nov. 21.Now it is, two weeks after the second letter had been sent, and neither letter has been received. I filed an online complaint 3 days ago with USPS. No acknowledgment, no response. I called them today, no one answered the phone after 12 rings. I called twice more, no answer. This is the worst post office I have ever been to. I have never had to wait in any other post office as long as I have here. Most of the time it's just to pick up a package but they don't have a different window for that. There is just to many people in the given area that this office covers. If you can, have your mail sent to your work and have someone sign for your packages so you can avoid this place. read more

I used to have the same mailman for 15 years. Ron. He was amazing and we never had a problem with our mail. The USPS changes his route a few years ago and starts contracting. Now mail is turning up missing left and right out of this post office. Packages, Gift Cards, Money. All missing from letters or never delivered. The phone is always off the hook, no accountability. the post office stole my package. The package was filled with junk but my family had hid money in the package. it was only insured for $50. so I will be getting $50 instead of $1030. It had tracking on it and usually when a package is delivered they put the address they delivered it to....this clever thief just wrote Waterford and the zip. Also the package was huge (like 14 by 12 by 10) and when I look at the tracking it says delivered INSIDE the mail box. No ones mailbox is that big. No pens anywhere to be found and the self-service kiosks were acting up. Other than that, this location has great hours (it was open until 7pm on a Friday, woo!) and great service. No long line and easy to find someone to help you. Nice service, too. read more

I know it's not a restaurant and not a typical place to review, but for me it makes sense. How can I not review a place that I utilize almost everyday? I print any and all package labels from home, so I don't have to wait in the monstrosity of the post office line. This P.O. is especially busy. It's the only one in the immediate area, so it gets hit hard. Anytime after 5pm and you can pretty much bank on there being a line out the door. Also holidays and tax season are brutal as well. I really just use this location as a parcel drop, but they really seem to move customers out pretty smoothly. The only problem that I see is that sometimes they don't have enough staff working the front. This can be frustrating, especially when you're in a hurry and the line is snaking around the whole place. Most other post offices only have one package drop bin (or none) and this location has three and one large one outside. They also fill up very quickly and lock up until they empty them out. Bottom line is that this location is quite efficient and and easy to get in and out of. If they would start serving food this place would be the ultimate Yelper's dream? read more

They have no problem delivering my bills but when it comes to packages there either stealing them or delivering them to another address. But of course they put in tracking that they deliver to the right address. There nothing but crooks. I have been visiting this location for nearly 2 years and have never waited more than 10 minutes in the longest line. They work quickly to get you in and out and are knowledgeable if you have questions. The only part that I hate is the demeanors of the workers. Everywhere else in Orlando people smile or say hello even if you're a stranger, but this places lacks this. Even if you ask how someone is doing you rarely get a response and are usually only asked questions pertaining to the services needed. I have witnessed people complaining and then being laughed at once they exit the establishment and even dismissed because they don't have the right information instead of taking 30-60 seconds to explain something. Overall, if you only care about getting your stuff sent out then this place is great, but if you want to be treated humanely then this is not the place to go. read more

I've been calling non-stop for a 1/2 hour trying to get in touch with someone regarding a package that I've been trying to get redelivered since 11/5! Why do we even think about using the US Post Office anymore? I'd rather pay more and actually get my package! 11/5 - they tried to deliver but I was on a conference call and couldn't get to the door. 11/5 - went online to have it redelivered for the next day 11/6 - no package 11/7 - called this time to have it redelivered 11/8 - no package 11/10 - called again to have it redelivered and Vernon told me that they would deliver it tomorrow which ended up being a holiday 11/11 - no package due to holiday 11/12 - another package came to my door to sign and when I asked her about this package, she didn't know anything about it. I had to drive to this post office because no one would pick up the phone to answer the question I needed to ask. The first time I called the phone was picked up and I said hello, hello but they hung up. I called right back but it rang and rang, The postal worker I spoke to after i had to drive there to get my question answered told me everyone was working the windows/counters and the phone is in the back. I told him that this location has bad service reviews and that I tried calling but no one ever answered. I asked was there a certain time someone is in the back so that phones are answered. I was told that the supervisor is the one that answers the phone but they were not always in. Wow! Where is the supervisor........? Getting paid but not at work...this was at 3:55pm so lunch breaks were over! Thumbs down!!! read more

This post office is ridiculous. Today is Friday, I went online and completed a priority package to be picked up Wed. No one picked it up so I called the 800 # & they said they would send an email for it to be picked up on Thursday. It wasn't picked up Thurs. so I called back again & was told the email had been sent to the post office but they would send another one for pick up today. It still wasn't picked up. I called the 800# & they gave me consumer affairs # because they said they have complaints ALL the time regarding this post office. They didn't answer the phone Wed. or Thursday when I called (off & on all day) and today the line has been busy for the 5 hrs. I tried to call. However, they are closed for the day, but first thing Monday they are getting a call. I paid extra for this service. read more

I just experienced the same as Neill. The phone rang 20 TIMES. No answer and then cut off with a busy signal. Not the first time this has happened. I have had many negative experiences with this location from failure to return 'signature required' certified registration cards to the failure of a key to open the package drawer in our local mailbox cluster to the consistently lousiest customer service I have ever experienced. This entire organization is a mess of incompetent people. Their online tracking doesn't update and email support is the non existant. You call the toll free phone number and its automated with no way to speak to a human. You call the local number and its busy no matter when you call. Mailman misdelivers mail all the time and doesn't bother to ring the doorbell for certified letters and when you reschedule delivery they don't deliver on the date requested and the tracking system doesn't update. Do us a favor and shut down. Some of your employees deserve better. read more

I can't explain the horrible behavior at this location, much less the overall attitude of the postal service in general. I paid for a package to be delivered in two days. It arrived in Orlando within 2 days BUT it did not leave their "sorting" facility until 4 days later!! Spoke to the local Post Master in charge and got the BS "Well we've had trouble with one of our sorting machines...yadda, yadda, yadda." So I stated "I guess then I'm just out the money I spent for 2 day delivery?" The reply....."Yea, I'm sorry." And the government wonders WHY they lose money and people are so quick to use alternate methods of shipping!!! read more

I'm not going to grade a them unfairly since I am new to the area, and haven't really dealt with them directly. A 3 star seems neutral. However, I would give USPS a 1 star right now if I could. I am waiting on an extremely important piece of mail, which (Not this POST Office's fault) is a day late on a guaranteed 1 Day shipping. So I waited around all day yesterday, canceling plans etc to no prevail. DON'T BOTHER CALLING THIS LOCATION. I tried calling this location several times yesterday, and twice today, and phone just rings and rings and rings... no answering machine either. Which if they can't pick up the phone I suppose why give false hope in actually getting a call back. Needless to say I am very frustrated with USPS, and if this post office just answered the phone, they could have been my saving grace. Running out of time and not sure when I will receive my mail. Up until recently I would have given this post office a great review. Mailed two packages and one letteri in mid June. One package and the envelope were addressed the exact way...however the package was not rec'd. Went into the post office and spoke with the so called "trouble shooter" who took info and said they would get back to me. The package was insured however the receipt accidently thrown out so I did not have the appropriate number. Was told there was no way to go through transactions for that day/time to assist me. Let some time pass approx. three weeks with no return call!!!! Went in again and spoke with the manager and was told there was a way to check for transaction and I gave detailed info. Did not expect to hear till the end of the week, but was ASSURRED I WOULD GET A STATUS CALL. NEVER HAPPENED. I even gave it an extra week. Stopped in on way home from work in the AM and was told she was busy doing an audit, could I come back in one hour. I said NO to that and to waiting there. They took my name and number and I not only did not get a call an hour later......not even two hours later! There is no way to leave any message as the line is automated.....they say to leave a message for an appt. for passport but do not give any chance for that either! I am tired of hearing about the loss of money when you can not even get someone to not DROP THE BALL A SECOND TIME!!!! read more

I went to the PO and the clerk put my name and address on a log form and gave me a number to call to schedule for new lock to be put on and delivery of keys to my home. This post office is awful. I went there this morning. I had already had all of my packages sorted with postage on them. I put them in the drop box and one item got stuck. I asked the lady to help me and she said she was helping customers as if I wasn't one and said to leave it there. When I asked again, she screamed at me and said " Listen, I have other things to do and this is going to have to wait, but if you would like scissors to cut your package, I have no issues of doing that. It doesn't matter to me!". I will never ever go back in this post office ever again! They can keep it and they really need to have more respect for everyone and work faster with more agents and have the capability of accessing the drop boxes without having to call a maintenance person. This office phone goes to a recording. If you are trying to talk with someone about mail not received, or delivered, you are directed to a telephone number at the carrier annex that no one answers. Good luck. At least at UPS, and FEDEX you are given the chance to talk with a human. read more

oh my gosh, awwwful, terrible!!! never answer the phone! my mail is always lost! i talked to someone at an 800# ....she was less than helpful. i mailed a payment november 16, 2015, it still has not appeared!!! she tried to blame it on the holidays. it was november 16th and only going to tallahassee. i bought big manila envelopes, wrote in gigantic letters, walked into the post office and now january's mail is missing!!! what's the point of return address...if it's not returned! i should not have to stand in line to pay to insure my every day mail gets to where it's suppose to be going. i will never never use this post office again. it's not the first time this has happened. it's also happen to my husband and my mother. at least it's not just me!!! read more

I have been trying to call this office and/or catch the postal carrier for 2 weeks. The carriers must be ninjas and they NEVER answer the phone and there's no voicemail (i've let it ring for over an hour). A delivery I have been waiting for and desperately need is trapped in an oversized mailbox in my complex's mail center. Box 3P. The lock is jammed and I cannot open it. Can't even get the key out of the lock. I've left a message with the box key in my mailbox for several days and you know what the carrier does? they push the key to the jammed box further back, pile my mail on top of it, and ignore the note (written on an obvious scrap of paper in silver metallic sharpie!) I've just about had it. I need the package and i've exhausted all means of getting ahold of them. If this isn't resolved on Monday, Im taking a crow bar to the lock and getting my package. read more
