They have power settings 1 through 6, and on a 1 (lowest power output) we could get our bikes up to 21mph. -At first, I was worried I'd feel unsafe or out of control, but once we got on the many large, paved bike paths on the island, it became second nature. Bring a helmet and you'll be fine! -Easy online reservation system. -Location is close to the ferry dock, so it was easy to hop off the boat and right onto our bikes. Meh: -One of the male staff members was a bit out of it, and a little chauvinist. -It was like $175 to rent two electric bikes for an entire day. I thought that was expensive, but when the day was said and done, I think it was worth the money. (These bikes are like $3,000 to purchase, so $175 for a day isn't that unreasonable I suppose)

The first bike had a broken gear shifter. The second bike they served us had a broken seat, to which they replaced the seat with a seat that had the cover cracked. Finally the trailer had a flat tire which we didn't discover until after we bikes a few miles. The guy also "cleaned" the trailer with a leaf blower.
