As a former usps employee, I'm so bothered by Bianka's attitude. My coworker typically does the drop off but I did today and was extremely disappointed with how I was treated. I was told that I had too many packages and that usps has a "7 minute per customer" max or they will get yelled at. The time was 4:30 and there were 4 people behind me with A SINGLE package each. It shouldn't have been a problem. But I was told that first come first serve isn't how they do things around there. Which is an unfortunate lie. If she would've stopped talking and just scanned we wouldn't have a problem. I was there less than 7 minutes and she was able to scan 1/10th of it. Absolutely ridiculous. Do better usps. read more

Bryan called me and said he was going to figure out what happen to my package never did untill I had to call customer service they said they put it as lost so upsetting that the manager was not on top of it . Disrespectful staff. After being told to wait in the package pick up line and waiting for 10 minutes, staff then told me no one will help and I need to get back in the other line which got super long and was almost out the door. Very inconsiderate saying they told us/me with a pink package receipt to get out of that line for another just to retract the statement and put me in line all over again. Ridiculous. I've had the same experience as other reviews where they make no attempt to deliver my package and instead leave a slip that says "sorry we missed you". The package I'm waiting for does not require a signature and I specifically requested they just leave it at the front door. Notice how in the picture I've uploaded they didn't even check a box with a reason why they refused to deliver the package. read more

Mailman never actually tries to deliver packages to my door, just leaves me the slip that says "sorry we missed you while you were out". Any time I have to come to the post office to receive my package, the staff is unnecessarily rude and acts like they have better things to do. I paid $29.00 to overnight a document from Californ to Mesa Arizona " guaranteed delivery" signature waived and the carrier from the Mesa Mountain View Post Office claimed he came upstairs (door camera show no one at the door) to require a going to drop the letter off and he took it back to the post office to be delivered the next day, and my documents were late, which caused a whole lot of problems for me!!! There was no signature required for that letter to be delivered, how incompetent!!!! read more

I had to go back to my car twice. I was told the wrong address to pick up my package. Which was taken back for not even attempting to knock on the door. The mailman has done this twice, didn't knock, left the slip and expected me to come pick up the package immediately. read more

When you come to this location expect delays. It is usually busy on any given day, and during snow-bird season it's pretty busy. The parking lot is accessed from University Dr, and depending on the time of day it's a nightmare trying to turn in. Sometimes you need to get your Arizona driving balls ready in order to turn in here. There is a separate lane for the drive up mailboxes. There is ample parking in the lot. There is a large area in the lobby where the P.O boxes are located, and through the doors is the main part with the counter and supplies. Usually they have 2-3 people working at a time. They will have someone come from the back to check if someone is there to only pick up packages or held mail. That usually helps the volume of the line. I've never experienced bad customer service here, in fact all the workers that have helped me have been pleasant and helpful. read more

It would be nice if you could actually complain to someone. My postal carrier delivered a package that required signature confirmation, but he left it in my mailbox and did not require a signature. To make things worse he marked it as given to individual. So if someone would have stolen out of my mailbox I would have no recourse. I tried to complain and used their online complaint system. I got an email back the next day That had nothing to do with my complaint. It's almost as if they didn't even read it? The response was a pre-filled out template, they didn't even remove some of the pre-filled items that were applicable. It was about as pathetic as you can get. read more

Did not expect this place to be bad. When I first got there a old lady with glasses was helping me out. Right away she was rude/mean to me for no reason. She didn't have respond to me like that. The people that work the front desk might be the most dense people I have ever spoke to. If you move that slow and have zero clue of anything going on around you... don't get a job, get nice boat, drive it to the center of the ocean and just stay there till god calls you back, because you have no business being behind the desk of a workplace, let alone dealing with people. This post office has inadequate service. I made my payment for my PO Box. However, my PO Box account was closed, and all my mail was returned. I waited for a manager to help me regarding my concern because I am needing to confirm my PO Box account is showing active so I can receive my mail. The manager had me waiting for an unusual long time. Finally, the manager came out from the back and began helping other customers who were not next in line. Finally, when I got my turn, the manager did not have access and or password to their systems to check my account. The manager had to get other associates to help him with the research. While waiting for the manager to gain access to their systems. I was asked many questions such as when did I make my payment, and when was my payment due? After one-to-many questions I finally asked, "please tell me what is going on" and the representative assisting the manager looked at me and hung her head and just walked away from the counter. Thats when the manager takes a look into the system then goes to the back then comes to me at the counter and tells me it's their fault, and my account was showing closed in their system but now the account is showing open, and he walked away. I am expecting mail that has to be responded with in time frames, and I never would have a PO Box but I was having problems getting my mail at my new home. I have always had a PO BoX it is my best source for me right now to get my mail. This Post office regarding this matter was very disappointing experience. read more

The post office is one of those places that you just don't go to when you are short on time...kind of like the DMV. There are always only two people working the counter. Depending on the needs of the other patrons, your wait time could be long. Someone has come out from the back on the last two trips I have made here to help customers who where there to only pick up packages or vacation mail, but not for money transactions. This kept the line down a little bit. The staff is really nice and always has stickers to hand out to the children. The parking lot is also easy to access but don't be surprised if you get stuck behind someone trying to make a left onto University (there is a no left turn sign). read more

Best post office experience I've ever had! David, one of the attendants at the post office, really went the extra mile for me today. I showed up late after everything was closed. He opened up the door took my package that had already been pre-paid for online. He says to me, "have a great weekend" I am so grateful for his kindness! I hate going to this place. I own a business and now I know why the Post Office is losing Millions and Millions, if not Billions of taxpayer dollars a year. Very few times has this place opened on time, people are walking to open the door at a few minutes after 9am, I did wait 1 time till 9:05am. Most of the time you will get 1 or 2 people who are there to open up front and it looks like they are just getting to work and then 5 or 10 minutes you will get another person, again just getting to work. Oh, and are they just the happiest people in the world and want to work just fast to make the customer happy and do an outstanding job to help make the company more money. The carrier constantly delivers or mail and packages to the neighbor's locker, and theirs to ours. It took 4 days to get the last package, and the neighbor's was there too! Our IRS check went to the neighbors and we keep getting theirs. read more

THE SELF MAILING MACHINE IS THE WORST. Had to ship two flat rate medium boxes, the machine itself has a terrible touch screen. It also took multiple tries for it take my card on the first package, and wouldn't take my card at all on the second. The line to ship in person was long so guess what?! I left mailing only ONE of my TWO FLAT RATE SHIPPING boxes because I was so frustrated and annoyed. ALSO, when I've tried to mail a regular large envelope the machine only gave me options for expensive priority shipping, there was no option for standard shipping. I even had a worker go through the prompts and they thought it was weird that I only had two postage options presented, both of which priority. I'd like to see all my shipping options, not just the fastest and most expensive. read more

I hate this post office. I had to call them because I got a blue card in the mail saying "Your parcel was too large to fit in your mailbox, we left it with property management." My property manager said she was there all day and no packages were delivered. That's just peachy. When I called this post office I spoke with Amy who was so unhelpful! She was just like "I will check with the mailman when he gets back in at 5 or 6." They close at 5! She took my phone number and said she would only call me if there was a problem with my package. If this is the location off of University and Lindsay- this place is HORRIBLE. After dealing with these yahoos I told my husband I now understand why the Post Office is going out of business; and how people go postal. So my husband and I recently moved and I did a change of address from my physical address to our new home. I did not change my PO box- we just renewed it for 6 more months. Well, USPS decided to close our post office. I went in on my day off to talk to someone about it and got the run around. The lady who was "helping" me was clueless. She had her supervisor come out and I had to explain the story again after they insisted I forwarded my PO box mail; I finally got on my emails and found the confirmation which showed I did not change my PO Box and they took it upon themselves to close it. I then asked for them to refund my money since I just renewed. Apparently only one person who knows anything about PO boxes was out that day but would be in the next day. I told the lady I work M-F 8-5 about 25 miles away. I can't get there. My husband went down on his lunch hour to try and get our money back and the guy was still out. It's only $27 but now I'm to the point where I don't want them to have our money out of principle factor. read more

Thank goodness for unions, which ensure that supervisors will never have to lend a hand to a meagerly staffed counter. This post office has gotten successively worse in the quarter century I've observed it. The staff are pleasant, but are cursed with lackluster management that simply cannot get it together and schedule appropriate coverage for the customer load. The queue - even in non-snowbird season - is often 20+ deep. Do the math: every transaction takes at least five (usually more) minutes. Snowbirds frequently express surprise and dismay at the line and (wait for it) jump the entire queue, feigning (probably the wrong word) ignorance. Staff do not correct them. Parking is at a premium even off-season because of the relocation of dozens+ of boxes from a downsized post office down the street. The bottom line is that volume of customers has increased to the point that it is ludicrous not to staff appropriately, and bizarrely self-sabotaging of unions not to allow managers to behave as would occur in retail: PITCH IN, OR LOSE CUSTOMERS AND POTENTIALLY YOUR JOB AND CAREER. Once again voting with my pocketbook: I buy every service and supply that I possibly can from a competitor. Regardless of cost. Reward operational excellence. Let free enterprise sort it out. read more

14 days after my "certified mail" needed to be delivered, it is still missing. Supposedly attempted to deliver the package but my security system proves otherwise, no attempted delivery. After "locating" the package, I come by to pick it up and nothing (misplaced it). They told me they would call me after they found it, never got a call. Two cases were opened via Ask USPS, I called this location and had the pleasure of speaking to the "manager" She claims one of the five supervisors that work under her must have moved my package. What a major failure of leadership. Don't waste your time with this location. I intend to start an official complaint against this location, this is not the first time this USPS location lost or delivered a package significantly late. read more

I'm not normally one to complain or write bad reviews but I was pretty mad. I had ordered some stuff on Amazon and it was supposed to be delivered this morning and it wasn't. I was at work and my wife got a slip in our mailbox saying they couldn't deliver it and it could be picked up tomorrow. I need it for today, which is why I had ordered it on Amazon to get it today! So maybe think about changing your policy about delivering to the door, because my wife was home and would have grabbed it! read more

This post office in Mesa Arizona has the slowest working people in the United States. Not only do they only have one or two clerks out at one time but it seems like they always take a break for 20 minutes. When one worker comes back two workers go off to break. The other post offices in Mesa have workers who really seem to care about their jobs. They are efficient ,helpful, and speedy. At this post office they are slow,wander around with blank looks,and don't really care. I spent 45 minutes in line with three people ahead of me 45 minutes is ridiculous. read more

Bad customer service. I've had problems with 3 different parcels being delivered to my address at 3 different times. Each time my address is "Undelievable" so I call the 800 to inquire about its whereabouts and they refer me to this particular post office to pick up my packages. But each time I go to pick them up, the women that have "helped" are very rude and condescending. They seem very unhappy to answer your questions and don't even greet you or make you feel welcomed. I've received 1 of those 3 packages and the other 2 are being returned to sender and I'll have to pay shipping to have them redelivered. It's upsetting knowing these women treat their community like such and should retake a training in customer service. I don't expect much in general but I left this post office 4 different times feeling disappointed and helpless. All to collect what is rightfully mine. read more

Horrible service, rude employees. Despite the line literally going out the door they will keep only 1 or 2 very slow employees serving customers. I've seen people slam into their broken doors. Not very clean and it is an absolute nightmare to get out of. Expect quite a bit of a wait to get out of the parking lot if it is during business hours or a Saturday. You will pay for your package to be delivered within 2-3 days and it always takes a week or more to get there - you won't get the service you pay for. read more

They lost two of my Ebay packages in one week, and eventually retrieved 1 of 2 after the tracking number showed "delivered" on both items. I've been telling them that I want my PO Box 3 month payments on auto pay, but they keep shutting it down for non-payment when they never tried to take out the payment. Plus they are rude on the phone. Nobody that can help with my PO Box is in after 10:30am. I even asked one of the clerks to just see if there was mail in my box, and the girl wouldn't even get off her lazy butt or get someone else off their lazy butt and take a quick look. Nice customer service. Just terrible. I think the only thing they have going is that at least the clerk that I talked to spoke English. Couldn't do anything, but at least spoke. read more

I explained what happened and asked how a package could get in one of their trucks and just disappear into thin air. He said that he would look into it and he never got back to me. Please someone tell me how my package went from being "out for delivery" to a post office in Texas. Someone needs to have all of them fired at this location. read more
