This is the shady mail carrier Julius who is retaliating against me, and has threatened me twice.

I have been experiencing serious, even criminal problems with this Montclair post office. Since October, my mail and packages sporadically disappear. Mail and packages are thrown on the floor. If packages cannot be delivered to the customer, notice 3849 is supposed to be left in the customers mailbox to pick up the package at the station. I know, I was a mail carrier. I've filed 14 complaints with USPS, working my way up the ladder, but no one responds. Ive gone down to the station 4 times, filed 3 police reports about stolen mail possibly by the mail carrier, and about him threatening me twice. I wrote a letter to 9News and State Representative Diana Degette about: not receiving my mail for the last 3 months (retaliation for me rocking the boat) but no one tells me why, being berated, yelled at, blamed, and told I'm making eveything up (I've documented everything since October with pictures, videotapes, statements from other customers, and all letters and complaints I've sent. Ive been hung up on, and told I'm harassing the mail carrier. Today is 2-19-25. If you have had problems at Monclair, please contact me. The next step is contacting Tom Martino, an advocate and take-no-prisoners for consumers, and against shady businesses. My name is Beth, my email is JustImagine66@comcast.net

No parking, long lines, only 2 windows open, rude employees, outrageous prices, filthy store and slow shipping times!

Fast, friendly service. I ship items from this office nearly everyday, and have never had a problem.

Today I needed to pay for a medium sized priority mail box to send clothes to the east coast that my daughter forgot at home when she came to visit for spring break. I figured $22.95 was worth it when it was heavy items like jeans, shorts, skirt, etc; plus it comes with a tracking number; plus it'll get there by this Thursday. In any case, while I was prepping the box and labeling it, I observed Xuan and the male staff working beside her patiently answer questions for several customers ahead of me in line. I would like to thank them both for being kind to the people, and to thank Xuan for helping me so efficiently. You might say they were just doing their jobs, but I say kindness while doing one's job is not necessarily a given these days. So thank you!

Just drive to the San Dimas one they're so sweet and will actually help you ! Idk how Frank is still employed after so many reviews about him so that just goes to show what kind of business this is. They don't care about trying to help you and they won't do any extra steps for you. The Asian lady that works there refused to scan my package when it was a prepaid label but I went to the SD location and they took my package right away and even scanned the label to make sure I was good which the other lady refused to do ! While I completely understand that she's not being paid extra to go above and beyond but really your job is to push buttons and scan a barcode at a place of business designed to ship and receive packages? I made a very simple and reasonable request: I asked if she could help me lift a small package. I had already brought the item into the store using a cart, and it was positioned directly in front of the counter. I wasn't asking her to carry it across the store or do any strenuous lifting...just a quick hand to place it on the scale. Her response was, "I can't lift it, we're under medical orders." This was surprising to hear from two visibly young, able-bodied employees. It felt more like an excuse than a genuine restriction, especially when the task was so minimal. What was most disheartening wasn't just the refusal to help--it was the attitude. I wasn't asking for special treatment because I'm a woman. I was simply hoping for basic human decency as someone clearly about to give birth. The general demeanor I encountered felt dismissive, almost like "I'm not getting paid to do more than the bare minimum." It's not the first time I've experienced this at this location either. Even walking in with a box, struggling with the door while pushing a cart, no one offers to assist or even acknowledges the effort. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that at a UPS shipping and packaging center, there would be someone available to assist with taking a package. That's the entire purpose of such a business. I didn't bring in something heavy, and I wasn't asking anyone to carry it across the store. I was literally already at the weighing scale and just needed help placing the item on it. The associate, Alejandra, said she couldn't help because she was under "medical orders" not to lift anything. While I can respect that some employees may have restrictions, it honestly begs the question: why would someone who can't lift even a light package or open a door for a customer be placed in a front-facing role at a shipping facility? If there are genuine limitations, shouldn't that be addressed through proper staffing or at least disclosed clearly? Maybe there should be a notice that says: If you need help lifting or handing off a package, please bring assistance. We're not permitted to touch any packages. That way, I could plan accordingly--because as someone who is 39 weeks pregnant, it's not safe or fair to assume I should do everything solo, especially at a location that advertises assistance with shipping and packaging. My expectations aren't outlandish. I expected basic, reasonable help in handing off a return. If that can't be provided, customers deserve to know up front so we can make alternate arrangements. This experience just doesn't align with what a "shipping service" should be.
