Living ITP generally means that I don't have access to post offices that are this large. Size doesn't really mean much because I think most of the space is used for sorting and not for customer service-type things. Pick-up times could be better (there's only one 5 PM time during the week), but maybe not necessary because delivery has gotten quicker?? I don't know... I do know that as long as I plan ahead by making right-hand turns in and out it's easy to use the outside dropboxes. read more

I called to speak with a supervisor with concerns over my mail carrier at home. I spoke with Khalid and he was very rude and kept snapping at me and interrupting when I was trying to tell him my concerns. The more I tried to talk to him, the more clipped he was. This past week, December 2018, the mail carrier delivered the mail. However she did not take our outgoing mail. From what we are hearing, neighbors are sometimes having the problem, they put mail out for pickup but when the carrier delivers their mail they are not removing the outgoing. Something wrong with that post office. We were doing business at another post office then explained what is occurring at the our post office and with our carriers. Easy to access location and always very clean and peaceful inside. Contrary to the stereotype of rude post office workers, this branch is consistently outstanding when it comes to customer service. If you are a regular, they will remember you and what services you prefer.... It's like showing up at the coffee shop where the barista remembers exactly how you like your drink made. This post office is not good or professional. Oftentimes I don't even get my mail that day. There are so many gifts ruined because they don't deliver every day. Sometimes I'll be expecting a package and they update my tracking saying "notice left," but the mail didn't even come that day. They wouldn't leave a notice for used clothes I buy off eBay... Today was the 3rd time using this facility. Down right atrocious. For the 3rd time, only one person was manning the counter. FYI, there are 6 counters! Clearly, office morale is low. We have had terrible service from this Post Office. Long waits in line with only 2 or 3 at the counter. Unfriendly staff, and slow in doing their jobs. Delivery persons are frequently not closing the door on mailbox. We filled our "Authorization to Hold Mail" on line and also put note in mailbox. They delivered it anyway. Tried to call post office, but they never answered the phone. Needs complete overhaul of operation. read more

I went to mail a small padded envelope containing a flash drive. I put it on the self-serve machine. At 1 oz, first class would cost me $0.98. The machine can't do transactions for less than a dollar. I go inside and wait. The post guy said "that will be $2.54." When questioned, he stated "that small padded envelope is a "package" and must be charged as such." If this is how they plan on retaining customers and driving up the rates, then I'll be looking for alternatives. I already pay those monthly bills I used to stamp online. read more

My daughter and I mail packages on a regular basis, and if I could get improvement on anything from the Sprayberry PO Branch in Marietta, it would be this: 1. Have the mailman scan in each package when he picks it up at the residence. 2. Keep the drop off bin at the PO clear on weekends, and even during the week. I can't tell you how many packages are being missed and not scanned in even at the PO! Right now, one valued at 150.00 is lost somewhere, and an investigation is underway. If the mailman would start the process at his truck, some of this could be avoided. And, I have driven over to drop off packages after hours and on weekends only to find that other packages have stacked up to the point that they are blocking the slot and you can't open to drop your packages in. I don't know about other branches, but this one really needs improvement! read more

Left me a flyer this week telling me I have 6 calendar days to MOVE my mailbox to the other side of the driveway and replace my post with a taller one. It's been here for 33 years (installed by the builder exactly this way in exactly this location) and all of a sudden y'all decide that a 64-year-old disabled widow is gonna have to replace it in 6 days? This location is trash!! My mom sent me a package that was scheduled to be delivered on Feb. 8th 2016, I was at work so I wasn't there to sign. So i figured just go and pick it up since I can't rely on them to deliver but I get to work the next morning (2/10) that my package was sent back to my sender, who is in Hawaii!!! Something about a max hold time at this location. At that point I'm pissed off, how can you literally hold my package for one damn day then send it back. Not giving me any time to make arrangements to pick it up. I called this location and requested for the delivery manager, woman on the phone said they were in a meeting I'll have them call you, took my info. NO CALL! Called back again, mgr said she would look for my package and will call back before the end of the day, NO CALL!! I got her today (2/11) and she told me she doesn't know where my package is, the carrier doesn't either. Like that's it?!?! She said she'll keep checking, asked for my info AGAIN, meaning you either didn't write it down yesterday or just threw it away! Michelle, that's her name!! OH and I have to wait 30 days to file for a refund! Bullsh*t, this location sucks! I will tell my mom to either use ups or fed ex, whom I've never had issues with. I've been here multiple times to pick up stamps (at the kiosk machine) with little to no problems, however, the 2x I had to go in; 1st for specific stamps and the 2nd for shipping a package; I received unsatisfactory and discourteous service. On the first occasion I was in a line of 5 people for over 35 minutes for the stamps. I had all that time to look high and low for the stamps or for design and not a one display is sight. I get to the counter and say I need stamps and ask what designs are currently available and Bill answers "over there" looking over my head. Over where? There was nothing so he huffs and says "let me show you" and pulls them out, I quickly get what I want flustered as I go and look "over there" and thankfully for my pride there was nothing but flat rate shipping boxes but really made me madder still. 2nd trip was worse. It was the first time I shipped something that wasn't pre-packaged. I knew to look at the flat rate boxes but they were too small, so I stood in line and received no assistance in line. I didn't mind because I thought I was waiting for assistance at the counter. Not quite, I received Bill with my package and let him know I needed to ship this package to his short reply "you need to place it in a box, they are over there" I look and to my dismay there is a cluster of nonsense for me to go thru with my 2y/o and a crowd to dodge thru. So I ask if he knows what size to look for and he says "no, you just have to try them out", thru the frustration of going back and forth multiple times I gathering my things to leave in defeat because no box the post office carries can contain a pots & pans boxed set; just for reference if you are so brave, a lady came to help me. Her name is Angel and rightfully so because she took my package to the back (where Bill was) and found something suitable to put my set in. I'm so thankful for her yet Bill has ruined this place for me and I'd rather pay 10x more somewhere else than to deal with him again. read more

This post office is AWFUL!!! Never in my life have I had so many packages lost, late, claims notices are left but never left. No access to delivery location??? Yet I live in an apartment and they can leave packages in the mailbox. They didn't even deliver our mail a few times over the last few weeks Valentines Day being on of the days! I am calling to report these liars and thieves to the Post Master General. Something is really wrong with the workers and management at this location. When I went in to complain, I was told they were short staffed, and had workers coming from other post offices to help them. And even told me that they could do whatever they wanted because they knew no one would get into trouble. This post office is a disgrace and needs to be investigated and SHUT DOWN! Horrible customer service and no accountability for the inconsistency that goes on. I have never had any issues with a post office until this one. AVOID ! I am going to get a box at a UPS store outside the district of this post office. I am tired of them losing my mail and packages or worse just not delivering them! read more

Typically this Post Office branch is one of the worst I've experienced. The service has always been way too slow and no one looks happy, not even close. However, there is a newer guy there, his name is Marcus. He absolutely handles three customers to one of any other front counter personnel at this branch. Not only is he 3 times faster but he is extremely pleasant and has a smile on his face. I'm sure you will notice him from anybody else there. I've heard that this branch is under new management. Yay! I wish and pray they could get three more Marcus's at the front to help the every day customer. I just hope the other sluggish folks there don't bring Marcus down to their level. read more

I don't have anything negative to say about the service, however, the employees are lacking in personality. They for the most part seem miserable!! It's seldom that you see anyone smile or express friendliness. I live very close to the USPS @ Sprayberry, but lately I have been going to the Woodstock USPS. This location is why the U.S. Postal Service has a bad name and UPS or Fedex deserve their profits. While most of the staff was rather friendly, it doesn't make up for lousy service and the one guy I had the pleasure of dealing with was terribly inefficient and rude. I had to mail an international package so I had to go to the counter. I stood in line for at least 15 minutes, with an arm full of items to mail and a bored toddler. This was the middle of a work day and it's not the Christmas rush just yet, but it took that long for them to help the 4 people in front of me with very standard, easy transactions. When I got up there, the guy refused to help me without the customs form I didn't know I needed (How would I? That's why I was in line to see him!) filled out. Instead of processing the domestic packages I also needed to mail while I took the 45 seconds to fill out the form, he refused to help me. So me, my arm full of items and my toddler had to go to another area to fill it out and then, as of course he was sluggishly helping another customer by then, wait AGAIN. Ridiculous. read more
