I called Tunga at their distribution center, and went there to pick up the package. Tunga blamed the new trainee on not following proper procedure. I have video cameras at my house and clearly no one came to the door to attempt delivery. Today the same thing occurred. I found another registered mail notice in my mailbox. Again I called Tunga who promptly called the driver. Within a few minutes she was on my front porch with the package. I found her comments to be revealing. She mentioned that Tunga told her NOT to deliver my package. In effect Tunga was blaming the driver, and she was blaming him. After she left I decided to call Tunga again and told him what the driver had said. What a BIG difference. He told me "MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS." His attitude was angry and he hung up on me multiple times. I have made attempts to speak with the PostMaster Sal, and I await his call. It is my business. It is my mail. A proper attempt should be made by the carrier to ring my doorbell on a registered package. If I call, I should NOT be told TO MIND MY OWN BUSINESS. Its a terrible post office. There are great, and nice people working on Water Street - but if Tunga is their supervisor, I would investigate Tunga before I complained about the others. ADDED 4/13/23 After 2 weeks the Guilford Post Master (Sal) has not called me back. I leave the obvious conclusion to the reader of this review.

I live over in Madison CT and…read moreship a high volume of customers items that come in for repair at the FedEx office and Branford ct. Fedex does a wonderful job packing and shipping. The employees are always very positive. I am originally from Guilford born and raised. I just finished my work, and I had a small item I had to ship, figured it would be safe to ship ups. So I decided to run over to the ups store which isn't nearly as far as the FedEx office. I go into the store, I see two employees, two women at the counter being helped and another two women just standing talking no where near the counter. The two women at the counter finished their transaction and left. I had the small item in my hand wrapped in bubble wrap. I then held it up and asked one of the two people behind the counter if they had an envelope, in a nice calm voice. I didnt say ups envelope but assumed he would know what I meant. As it was to large for a regular envelope. Getting an envelope is Standard when I go to fedex, figured was the same for ups. The older employee with white hair had an attitude, held up an envelope and said only have an envelope for express and if I wanted another I would have to pay. He then said what are you doing do you want to ship something. All of this was said to me with an obvious attitude. I thought about it all for a second and said I'm all set I'll go to FedEx. As I got to the door, I heard someone say what a a hole but the whole word. I poked my head back in and said this is why I do not ship here. So, I ended up leaving and as I was driving, I called the store. A man picked up and I asked if he was the one with the white hair, he responded yes. I asked who the owner was, and he responded I am. I let him know I planned on shipping I didn't care what it cost. Maybe 15 bucks??? Seriously I have never ever not even remotely been treated like this in a store. And he was the owner!!!!! In memory of Andrew…read moreand Billy The Clinton Town Hall was built back in 1936 with money donated by William Stanton Andrews. It is a lovely building in a great location that is a pleasure to visit. The inside has an absolutely gorgeous marble lobby with gold crown molding and several huge fountains that are extremely cool. A beautiful red tail stag is in the entrance of the main lobby and was donated in 1978 by Sturges Redfield. The stag was carved in Europe and has been in his family for over a century. Pretty impressive critter. The Town hall also contains the Clinton Historical Society Museum Room that has different exhibits of local history and the building also contains 5 working fireplaces and a 450 seat auditorium. Quite an impressive place. One thing that is missing are the kitties. For years the Town Hall had a lovely and friendly cat named Andrew but he eventually got old and passed on. He was replace by Billy, a rather plump but lovable feline that that also ended up leaving this world. I have heard they aren't going to get any new cats which is a shame. Being greating by Andrew or Billy was always a treat. The Clinton Town Hall is a cool place even without the kitties. A interesting place to pay taxes or do tedious government stuff. Everyone here is always friendly and will go out of their way to help. They even have some beautiful river views from the back and a kayak and canoe ramp by the dock. A very cool town hall that has so many cool and interesting things to do and look at.

The three floors are packed with interesting artifacts and furniture from the time, and the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, providing plenty of background information that enhanced our experience.
