They have plenty of their own parking. I was there during the snow storm and I go every morning to post office to pick up mail. The people from across the street left their car and truck in the handicapped parking spaces! The white truck is parked in the parking lot every morning! I almost fell trying to get around these cars to use the ramp as it was very icy! Someone needs to get ticketed for parking there! The post office lobby for picking up mail never closes so these people should be ticketed for parking on private property and hindering those that need the handicap spaces!

I came here on a Tuesday to mail a package across the country. It was wrapped and all set to go. It cost about $14 to ship priority. The woman behind the desk was so helpful, that she was able to fit it into a smaller and better protective package and saved me money. I really appreciated it, since it saved me money, and I was sending fragile things as well. I definitely recommend this post office to those who wish to do their mailing needs. So many PO Boxes as well, which is a nice convienince as well. I will definitely be returning to this post office!!

I called Tunga at their distribution center, and went there to pick up the package. Tunga blamed the new trainee on not following proper procedure. I have video cameras at my house and clearly no one came to the door to attempt delivery. Today the same thing occurred. I found another registered mail notice in my mailbox. Again I called Tunga who promptly called the driver. Within a few minutes she was on my front porch with the package. I found her comments to be revealing. She mentioned that Tunga told her NOT to deliver my package. In effect Tunga was blaming the driver, and she was blaming him. After she left I decided to call Tunga again and told him what the driver had said. What a BIG difference. He told me "MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS." His attitude was angry and he hung up on me multiple times. I have made attempts to speak with the PostMaster Sal, and I await his call. It is my business. It is my mail. A proper attempt should be made by the carrier to ring my doorbell on a registered package. If I call, I should NOT be told TO MIND MY OWN BUSINESS. Its a terrible post office. There are great, and nice people working on Water Street - but if Tunga is their supervisor, I would investigate Tunga before I complained about the others. ADDED 4/13/23 After 2 weeks the Guilford Post Master (Sal) has not called me back. I leave the obvious conclusion to the reader of this review.

Constant misdemivered mail, apathetic employees, packages reported as delivered that…read morenever were delivered (several times I've received delivery confirmation while at home but no delivery was made). Happened again today. Complaints get you no where, they don't care one bit. The last time I went in to complain about a missing package the delivery person was there and stared, with a major attitude, that she delivered the package. When I told her I was home when the tracking said delivered so i know it's wasn't delivered she said (and I quote) "I delivered that shit!" Then when the post master told her to go in back she did so but was calking me a " mother fucking liar" on her way back. I looked at the postmaster and asked her she thought that was acceptable behavior and she just shrugged.

She gave me some cock and bull story about how maybe my driveway is too difficult to maneuver a mail truck in. I informed her that my driveway is large enough to drive an 18 wheeler through with ease. She had excuses for everything. I informed her that a worker in that office threatened me, and said if I complain "bad things would happen to my mail" she refused to address the issue.

I watched 4 more customers walk up and try to enter the Post Office but again the door was locked and Post Office already closed. Not sure what time they actually close but they should change the sign on the door. It's very misleading.
