Stopped by this United States Postal Service recently and had a surprisingly quick, smooth experience. The biggest thing I noticed right away was that while there were accessible parking spots conveniently located near the entrance, the doors were not automatic or handicap accessible. You have to manually push/pull them open, which could definitely create challenges for some visitors. Accessibility should start at the front door. Once inside, though, the visit was seamless. I went straight to the self-service kiosk with no wait at all. The kiosk was easy to use, straightforward, and glitch-free. Everything moved quickly, and I appreciated that it gave the option to print a receipt, email it, or do both. That kind of convenience makes a difference when you're trying to get in and out efficiently. Overall, a fast and hassle-free stop with a very user-friendly kiosk system, but updating the entrance doors would greatly improve the experience for everyone. read more

This review is solely about the outrageous cost of first class/forever stamps. When I was in The Air Force in 1985 these cost 22 cents, ten years later they cost 35 cents. Not bad right, reasonable. Today, these same stamps cost 77 cents. From a customer point of view this is ridiculous. I refuse to buy another stamp! read more

This place is hit or miss on service. I guess it depends on which way the wind is blowing. Lol... One day, I can be in and out with great customer service and a smile.... While the next visit may be short line with a long wait .... long line with a frustrated staff .... even longer wait... But I can't blame them... it can't be easy dealing with multiple personalities of multiple people. Some even struggling with the language barrier issues which causes much longer wait times. USPS should have people in place to handle this by now. read more

I like how they have the floors marked for 6 feet apart. The clerks are wearing masks. The place always looks organized but prepare for long lines. Every time that I have been here, they only had 1 clerk. The reason for the 1 star is because I always end up with someone else's mail in my box or my mail ends up in 1 of my neighbors house. There also has been times when my bills look like they have been opened. I had my credit cards changed and moved a lot of my bills to online because of it. Also, I had brought a stack of mail to them and even spoke with the clerk and let her know that there was no such person at this address. She said that she would take care of it. The next day, that same stack of mail that I took to the post office ended up right back in my mailbox. It's just pointless. read more

Terribly terribly slow and the workers are always in bad moods it seems. It almost like they had to stand in the long slow moving lines themselves. They never seem to know what you need when asking there professional advice. It just a mess there. The property and inside itself is large. The parking lot is a mess with all kinds of craters and cracks in the concrete. They do have an outside drop off box that comes in handy. read more

This is an acceptable post office in a terrible location and with a parking lot that was gnarly and now isn't awful. It's difficult to get into and out of. They do have a 24 hour self-service machine and PO Boxes available which is helpful. I have only experienced long lines here but no one goes to the post office for fun. I am a big fan of postage and can usually find special edition postage at this location. That might not be important to YOU but it is to me and this is where you can find your Scooby Do or Sally Ride stamps. read more

I have to start with a simple question: why is this spelled wrong??? Thanks for representing Okolona without any spell check... They are busy most of the time. My favorite clerk is Rodney!! He is incredibly knowledgeable and kind, stoic but kind nonetheless! I have a PO Box here and am here many times a week and cannot complain about the service they provide. You do have to pay for that in 6 or 12 months in advance. Lunch time and closing are the worst times of the day to make it in. read more

I needed to mail a bathing suit off today. It always seems like on the worst rainy days it's always the busiest. I was in and out in no time. Used the machine to weigh my package and get stamps. Took the bag in to get a receipt from the ladies and on my way I went! The way some people talk to and treat these workers is embarrassing! I like that this spot has a self serve kiosk open 24/7. Definitely don't want to stand in line these days.

Be prepared to wait. Never seems to be enough clerks working. The self service kiosk doesn't always work.

Was really very disappointed in the Okolona post office. When an a dog issue came about on the street. None of us knew that they stopped delivering mail until 5 days later. Appeared a dog got out and approached the mailman . The dog never bit him but scared him I believe. I understand the issue but the dog never bit him. Now I thought when a dog bites a mailman that the dog is suppose to go into a 10 day corateen and the owner is suppose to show shot records are up to date. If they don't then it hoes to court. LAS was involved also from my understanding. The resident on the street were told many different stories about what happened. Findly after a month and half after no mail delivery We got Madonna Flood involved and 2 weeks later we were getting our mail again. Thank you Mrs. Flood. The post office should of noticed everyone on the street . Instant of us having to figure it out. One lady at the post office was rude. White chick with sorta kinda long hair .That wears her hair in a ponytail and chunky build. The post office would only tell us that until the dog is removed there would be no mail delivery. This was a big inconvenience to many especially to the disable residents. Who do not drive and depend on the post office cause they have meds delivered through the mail. I feel that if Madonna wouldn't of done what she did we would still be without mail. Thank you MaDonna . I just hope the post office would of been more professional in this situation then what they were. We want our postman to be safe but also we want the post office to be better in communicating with the residents. On any and all issues concerning mail delivery. I'm just thankful this issue got resolved. But sad that it took over 2 months to get it resolved. read more

I had an appointment for a passport on 6/28/21 and they sent me a text that morning canceling my appointment due to a call-in. So I had to be reshuffled in with the general public ( no consideration for the cancel) so I made another next available appointment for 7/12/21 (today) and guess what? Yep.. canceled without a notification. I arrived for my appointment and they told me the agent called in. Told me I'd have to reschedule once again. Oh, and they're booked up another month out. I'm so frustrated there is zero accountability for customer service. Always long lines here. read more

this is by far the worst post office Ive ever dealt with. I have a po box there for my business however 5 times they've messed up my mail by not putting in my box or putting undeliverable stickers on it. USPS sucks because when you try to call this branch its clearly off the hook then the 800 number puts you in circles. I can hear them cussing & talking behind the po boxes like they are at a bar. Never can they give me a straight answer for why my mail is messed up. Come to find out they are also the most expensive place to rent from.
