I red all of the reviews and I took all the negative as a sign to be prepared. The system is organized and the reps were really helpful. They offered many different ways to pay for their services. There is a list of fees. But truthfully I appreciate a due diligence in a profession. What I mean is they checked and rechecked each others work. , seriously, checked your application, triple checked and checked again to get you the most accurate results. If you need another copy of the application the representatives will help you with that. Just be polite in any language. Please just know too that they take 5 walk-in daily and only 5 walk ins with those without an appointment . They run a tight ship, that they are open 9:00am sharp!!! Please be kind, mature and respectful and everything will work out in the end. Communicate always. Advocate for your needs to all of the employees. If you hear your number and your not ready just let them know. I had a 9:00am appointment and arrived at 8:30am and waited in their lobby. I was done with my appointment at 9:24am. Doors open at 9:00am. Both lobby of legal documents and The full post office opens too if you need cool stamps for your collectors out there. Anyways . Thank you to each of you . You made what could be a stressful appointment really manageable and not stressful at all. My appointment was right before Easter and my representative reminded me of my mother. We went to take out our passports and the first time the same lady African American told us that she couldn't attend us because she had so many appointments while whole time she was in the back acting dumb. So we came back the second time with an appointment we made it at 3:15 didn't get attended us until 4:30 because once again the same lady was in the back talking on the phone and wasting time so she wouldn't attend anyone was acting very aggressive when questioned. Wow, the reviews don't seem to have the same effect that I did today. However; I walked in and was at the window in no time. There was Don who was so helpful. She had a smile as I walked up. I was returning a package back to the shipper. I asked to purchase some tape. She said "let me see that label, no just go right there to that table and tape it up". I was so happy. LOL. Literally the worst post office I have been too. I shipped out a packet about 2 weeks ago , within 3 days of me shipping it , it came back , don't know why I even went back and asked the worker and she said she didn't know why they sent it because the box doesn't say why they sent it back so she said she would send it again & so she did. Within 3 days again it came back , I now went again and she still cannot tell me the reason why it has been shipped back to me when the address is correct , and so are the items and everything in the box . I spent 70$ to ship plus what I had bought in the box another 40$. And now I cannot get a refund , nor can I try and send this box again without having to pay another 70 ! Employees behind the counter and a worker behind a desk dealing with passports and very Impatient and rude as hell, especially to people who doesn't speak english. My girlfriend came here for her first time and they were extremely rude to her not helping her what to do or where to go. They are also extremely fake when other people are around so you might think they are being nice. Don't know much about sending mail out for this post office but I will talk about the passports !! Mind you, my brother & I went to different locations trying to see if they would take passport applications with out appointments (cus for some reason when I would try online , appointment availability wouldn't show up ) and luckily the nice lady at the post office near central and vernon told us to come to this one on central and Florence and that they usually take US passport applications without appointments...it's always a seperate line for passports and usually first come first serve. I was able to process my documents to renew my US passport. read more

I had a great experience at this post office - passport section. The clerk was very helpful despite the bad reviews about the post office. I had no issues at all. I filled out the incorrect passport form but the clerk allowed me to fill out the correct form and hold my place in line. I wish I would've got her name so I could let everyone know how great of a worker she was. The process was very smooth. The only bad part was waiting in the line prior to the post office opening lol. That was no one at the post office fault at all. I came early so I could be among the first to get my application submitted. I'm so glad I know they do walk-in passport service. You should be aware that these past couple of years many people complained about this place due to the lack of improper service and behavior and I cannot tolerate that. Are you aware that many people packages gone missing? Are you aware the type of behavior MOST employees display towards customers? Are you also aware that employees mistreat the Spanish community? This is utterly unacceptable and disgusting. How can a big postal office company allow such actions and let it continue on. Today I went to the postal office to drop off a package not only that but apparently there were no Spanish speaking employees available, you should know that California most likely has a lot of Spanish speaking people especially Los Angeles. Hire employees who can speak both English and Spanish, the best outcome is a customer's satisfaction not onto the employees. Yes employees should as well be in a comfortable environment but yet they do whatever they want in this postal office. We spent 1 hour with an employee named brea. I'm not quite sure her full name but she worked between the hours of 3-4 PM Her actions were too inappropriate to my peers and the people who were inside that building, she was yelling and having a rude attitude towards the Spanish speaking people. She didn't even tried to help she made the whole thing worse. It's so unacceptable and devastating that I saw many Spanish speaking people confused and apologizing while the employee kept taunting them. Have had packages lost here that were never delivered to their international addresses. On the Stamps "DOT" com website when you enter your "international" delivery address and print the label it will list the name of who you are sending and then "c/o Postal Processing Facility 7101 S. Central Ave. #5***** Los Angeles Ca 90051" So if you see that above address replace the address you typed as the Delivery Address, it's guaranteed to go to this processing where there is a VERY HIGHT CHANCE of the package being lost for a long time or never actually leaving this sorting facility read more

I feel very safe now that the facility has removed some unwanted debris and the parking is accessible for parking your car. People are coming and going in a timely manner for parking. They have disconnected their phone so that you can't contact them and complain plus they have poor in post office customer services. Their carriers only show up a couple times a week to deliver mail and have complete disregard the local area's need for on time mail service. If I could give zero stars I would. This is by far the worst post office I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. This extends to my mail service at my home. 2-3 days out of the week we get no service. Then if we do I am always missing mail. I am constantly getting notified by various services that my mail is undeliverable and as a result things are being returned to sender. Also I'm constantly getting mail from people that haven't lived here in years. I've been up to this post office to complain because their phone lines are disconnected and they tried to brush me off. I wasn't leaving until I spoke to the manager. The manager took down my info and promised to call me....which she didn't. Do not trust this post office plz. I had a package that was supposed to be delivered on the 20th of december this the third visit to inquire about the package . Went to this location Saturday 07/08/23 and was very rudely attended by the most unfit clerk. I am not sure what the qualifications are or the screening and interview process was to hire this individual . I did not get her name but this was around 2:20 pm. There were to African American ladies there. I am referring to the thinner one with the braids. Being a customer who was sending something certified for the first time , I'd expect for her to professionally explain the process . She very rudely exclaimed I had the adres in the wrong place and just looked at me dead in the face. I politely asked her for a pen , she said " im not done yet !" It was apparent she did not want to be there attending people . I asked her to please be patient as it was my first time with this process And she asked me to move away to the side . Extremely unpleasant , unprofessional and ghetto experience. When I was done with my corrections and proceeded back to her window , she knew better than to keep attending me with how unpleasant she presented herself and the business, I am sure she is aware she is not performing up to par. My certified mail "departed" this center on 1/31/22 and my local post office has yet to receive it. How is it possible that it has been in transit for 5 days to only travel approximately 8 miles. My mail carrier try to deliver a package to my home on May 14th 2019. She left the postal slip in my mailbox saying dog in yard you will be able to pick the package up starting May 15th 2019. I go to the Post Office on May 15th 2019 with the postal slip that has the tracking number on it and these people behind the counter refuse to give me my package. They are telling me that I have to call the Post Office supervisor and explain to her why I'm not getting my package or what I have done with the dog and then she will then in turn call the Post Office back and tell them what to do with my package. This has been going on for 4 days now I have been to the Post Office 3 days in a row and they are refusing to give me my package. They're telling me I'm going to call the Carrier she still has your package. Now the carrier does not have the package I speak to the carrier personally and she tells me that she left the package at the post office and they're just not looking for it. I go back to the post office and now the post office is telling me I have to write a letter to them explaining what I have done to resolve the dog issue. If there is a dog issue I would not be receiving mail on a daily basis in the first place so that right there is a flat out lie. Yes I have a dog if there is a package that she needed to bring to the door maybe she couldn't get in but my dog is usually in the house when the mail lady comes, & what does that have to do with me going to the post office with the slip and them just not handing me my package. Clearly there's not a dog issue at the post office if I come in there with the slip and the tracking number on it that has my name on it and my address that matches my driver's license, why is it that they refused to hand me my package.? This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of in my entire life. I have never heard of this I keep calling the post office 1-800 number they said this is not their policy they don't know why they're doing this. My question now is who can help me? I had a certified letter mailed on the 8th of February - it's now February 25th and no letter in sight. The tracking keeps saying it's departed the USPS center but never arrives at my post office in Long Beach. I can't get a live person to help me find this or even tell me if it's lost or not. I think they should fire everyone and privatize the post office - people here are quite clearly intellectually disabled most probably without a high school diploma and can't deliver the mail or even read an address if their life depended on it. I got my passport done precovid. Attendant was super nice. I printed out the wrong paper not thinking they had it there. She helped me fill it out but told me she was going to lunch soon. She went to lunch before I finished but as I was finished with my paperwork and preparing to wait in my car, I walked outside and she said she would do it really quickly, she was just waiting in her food to come...I believe her name was Snow. I told him "I didn't count them" Carlos says "They are only gonna take 3!!!" I ask "Why?...when I've already been in line?????" Carlos walks away only to go tell the Window Clerks to only take 2 of my parcels!!! You would think that TIME HE WASTED to do this (about 10 minutes) he (Carlos) could have helped about 7 to 10 customers who were waiting in line! When Carlos returns I asked him for the Postmaster's Name/Phone Number/Contact information Carlos yells out "She's not here!!!" I asked him to write down my request (and he did). I made 2 attempts to call ROSELYN L (Operator In Charge) and flagged my messages as urgent...She does not respond... I am at Clerk #30/Ms.D's window at 5:25pm (More than enough time for her to process ALL of my parcels) she tells me that Carlos M told the Clerks to only take 2! Now I gotta figure out of the 9 or 10 WHICH 2 (I told Ms. D that Carlos told me 3...She took the 3). Now I gotta get Money Orders/Purchase Stamps/Buy Stamps in order to get Cash Back because I have Customers that might want a refund or I may send them a Partial Courtesy Refund because they were informed their package will be SHIPPED APRIL 18, 2022!
