This review is for a visit in the month of December, 2024. Usually any time you roll up to a Post Office during the holidays, prepare for a LONG line inside. Of course on this particular occasion, yes there was a line. But the surprising experience during this visit is that the staff kept the line moving at a very respectable pace. There must be a qualification to be rude before working at this USPS because the customer service here is consistently awful. Sidney, in particular, had an unbelievable amount of attitude and treated me like I was stupid for asking simple questions. Instead of being helpful, he were dismissive, impatient and condescending. A little kindness and professionalism go a long way especially in a customer facing job. People come in looking for help...not to be talked down to :( read more

Delivery was placed on a hold at the PO (per customer) which is false, our community mailbox was broken into once again (crap idea) Can't get thru to them via Customer Service or their phone number (standard) Not a good business model or practice to falsify mail stoppage or not having a human being to talk to get the problem solved. read more

My truck was towed from the parking lot! Why? EVERYONE parks here! I even went inside to mail a letter. Then I went across the street to grad a coffee. Literally gone for 20 minutes. Came back and gone. I went inside the post office to talk to someone and the entire staff acted clueless including the post master who tried to lie and said he didn't call the tow truck. Sidney needs a new job. I had one of the most stressful and rude interactions with this man and it seems as though others have as well. He was so condescending, refused to let me verify the addresses on the packages I was shipping by saying "I know it's right and if it's not an address I'll tell you", argued with me in front of customers to the point I had to ask to please not speak to me anymore to which his response was "good don't speak to me either". I was so upset I left in tears of anger especially after hearing him laugh about me with the next customer as I was packing up and leaving. I have never experienced a situation like the one I did today. He opened the doors without saying a single thing like welcome or hello, asked me if I was "processing" my packages and when I didn't know what that meant and asked for clarification he yelled "AM I CHARGING YOU!?".... Then it just got worse as mentioned above. I hope the cameras on site actually work because I would love for a manger to pull them up and watch the whole interaction. What's sad is I did a similar shipment process the week before but had 5 times the amount of items and the guy working with me was AMAZING. So patient and kind. Sidney was neither and should look for a new job. I couldn't believe that interaction and hope I never run into him again. read more

This post office is so inadequate. It is always clean and tidy, but their service is terrible. I hav head to come here a few times and the lines are always long and only one customer service rep, or none were available. Literally people in line and not one person behind the desks multiple times I have been there. I did not stick around to find out how long it took someone to show up, but our Post Office in Merced, CA is great so I do not understand this level of lack of work ethic. USPS Has gotten SO EXPENSIVE! It is ridiculous, especially considering the service we receive. I had a package that was to be delivered to me by Friday according to their own website tracking. At the last minute they changed it to be delivered on Monday instead! Expensive, poor service and poor reliability. Very disappointing! read more

I paid for shipping on a package that was delivered back to me with an unable to forward stamp put on it, when I went back to the post office two different times the managers refused me a refund for shipping, even though I have multiple proofs that this is a legitimate current address of my client, and he currently successfully receives other packages and mail at his address. This is extremely lazy and unethical practice. Do yourself a favor and use any other shipping service because they will not take care of you if they make a mistake with your package. The failed shipping was at my own expense. The deliverer was probably too lazy to even look around at the address numbers. This is sick and I feel robbed. read more

If I could give zero stars I would ... we had an appointment at 2:15 . We walked in through the door at 2:14 , facility at 2:10 and was not able to be accommodated. The man called my name and walked past us as we walked in. The passport office is all the way in the back , locked . His excuse was to be there 15 minutes early - then what is an appointments use ? The confirmation email mentioned no such thing of 15 minutes earlier . Safe to say: We will not be returning , we decided to reconfirm with victor office . I had a certified letter which required me to pick up and sign for it. I waited in line at the counter to be told that I had to ring the bell at the door in the lobby which I did and waited and waited and waited in fact IAM still standing here waiting for someone to answer the door..... It's been 10 mins and I've rang the bell several times. All the while the lady that told me to go to the door is standing over behind the counter chatting it up with her co workers..... I have my business po box in Woodbridge and they are wonderful over there. If you need a box I highly recommend you go to Woodbridge and stay away from the Lodi office! read more

I understand the low rating of this location given the visit just now. Was chastised by the counter lady for turning a flat rate box inside out, yet still using priority mail. Ended up cancelling the postage and will send from another location where the employees treat their customers with respect and avoid making claims they cannot back up with written policies (should one be violated). Box states "This packaging is the property of the U.S. Postal Service and is provided solely for use in sending Priority Mail Shipments." It doesn't not state that it cannot be used in a reverse folded manner. Still sending via Priority Mail so explain to me why this is a problem. read more

If I could give ZERO starts I would. I came in for mine and my daughter's passport appointment at 10:00am and the Indian gentleman came out at 10:30. We told him we have been sitting there for 30 minutes. He proceeds to LIE saying he came out at 10:05 and 10:10 and we weren't there. He said we had to be there 15 minutes early but they don't mention anything about that on the Email. He looked like he had just woken up from a nap with red eyes. Came out again to say he could do one passport and I told him to stop lying about coming out at 10:10 his reply was "IM DOING YOU A FAVOR DO YOU WANT IT OR NOT?" I said no. He kicked us out of the room and tells me to speak to the supervisor who is good for nothing too. We waited ONE extra hour for him to do absolutely nothing. He said he wasn't there and didn't see what actually happened. We told him to check the cameras but he said he can't... so what are those things good for? read more

I made the 30 minute trip to this post office to complete a passport application. The website notes that walk-ins are available from 2:30-3:30 T-TH. I arrived an hour earlier and waited right outside the door of the passport office. A couple came out . Then about 10 minutes later, an employee asked if we had an appointment. I told him that I was there for the walk in slot. He told me that the walk-in slots were full. Wait, what???? He directed me to the cashier and she said that only 4 slots are available per day for walk-in. She also added that in order to get a slot , you have to sign up in person by 8:30 in the morning!!!! Well, I wished they would include this VITAL information in their website. Waste of time for lots of people! There was no one else waiting there while I was waiting either! read more

One and a half stars? Ouch! The Post Office is clearly somewhere people only Yelp when they are annoyed :( It's too bad... I grew up using this small post office but over the course of my life, I have visited MANY and I believe this one is good in comparison. I realize postal and DMV employees have a stigma, but no matter how slow (and they can be incredibly slow) I have never found any of the employees to be rude. Aloof, yes. Maliciously rude, no. I brought my son here today to get a new passport. I don't like that I was unable to make an appointment and had to wait in line. Even still, it wasn't that long of a wait and the gentleman who helped us was nice enough. I didn't like the $150 I had to fork over either, but that's not the post office's fault. This is a small building and there is never too much of a wait, even when I am just dropping of packages. They could fix the parking lot and drive up drop off boxes though. This location deserves at least 3 stars if not 3.5 and if you are thinking of driving to Galt or Stockton because of the other reviews, I implore you to rethink that. On a side note, I also happen to like my regular mailman too. He is prompt and always friendly and he even puts up with my yappy little dog with a smile when she is in the yard. read more

LATE LATE LATE We are a business on East Turner Road that NEVER gets our mail before 5pm. You would think that a business would get there mail daily before 5pm but not us or the there 10+ business. I walked into this post office with my items in hand needing a box that would fit them. Grace quickly helped me but we soon realized that none of the boxes they sold were large enough for my items. She went above and beyond and actually went into her back storage room and found an old box that was sitting back there and let me use it. After packaging my items into the box and doing the label, Gina was also very friendly and prompt in helping me actually ship it out. Grace even stopped by to see how it all ended up!! Great people here, idk what the deal is with all the bad reviews. read more

I don't go in here very often but whether there's long lines or they are short, I have found everybody that works there kind and helpful. This is a hard time where the post office is under funded and any lack of service I do not believe is their fault but I appreciate the hard work they do and I wish they were still open on Saturdays. read more

I am certain that the mail carriers for this USPS office are trying their best, while working under the duress of Postmaster DeJoy's cynical measures to slow down deliveries, in the hope of somehow influencing our federal administration's attempt to restrict vote by mail processes. I have learned on the Internet of other local USPS facilities, deprived of overtime, have had to neglect mail that was abandoned on the floors of the post offices, to be included in the next day's deliveries. This deplorable situation is evidently present in Lodi, where,last week, on one day, I received no mail whatsoever and, then, the next day, a ton of envelopes. I would give this zero stars if I could. This post office is all around horrendous. Customer service is terrible, and everyone has an attitude. Also, I never get my mail! I check it all the time, and my box is empty. I had two people tell me something they sent me got mailed back to them. And I never get my packages if they're from an obviously good place like Victoria Secret or something. Yet I always get my packages if UPS, or Amazon delivers them, so I know it's not a coincidence. I am updating my overall review of this Post Office, due to the current enforcement of the parking lot parking. In the past, it was nearly impossible to find parking, as people were using the Parking lot to go shopping or eat lunch at one of the nearby restaurants. It was a very bad situation. The employees now have vehicles towed regularly, as well as; warn people about parking illegally in the parking lot. Good job Lodi Postal Employees & thank you! read more

My vacation hold mail was supposed to be delivered yesterday, still don't have it. Last time I requested a pickup my postman (and may I add here that he is the most incompetent postman ever and has zero personality) did not pick up my package. I had to put a copy of the pickup request in my mailbox the next day.
