The mail person who delivered on Saturday 12/13 left our packages at the end of our driveway in plain view of anyone driving by on our very busy road. The regular person always bring the packages closer to the house/gate where they are not as easy of a target to be stolen. Not happy with the service today! USPS has become a huge disappointment. I've NEVER had issues with them until I moved to Live Oak. My regular mail rarely comes and then my packages are constantly undeliverable, which is ridiculous because I have NO issues with any other mailing services!!! They claim the attempt to leave my packages but state my mailbox was full (it was empty) and I've instructed them to leave packages on the porch, there's no gate, no animals stopping them from doing so!!! They're just lazy and unmotivated! Such a huge disappointment! If you need something on time, don't count on USPS! read more

I have found the lady that works here is helpful and friendly, but the man is very rude (when you think of the negative stereotype of a postal worker, he fits it). Odd that small friendly town has to put up with this horrible man. read more

I ordered an 8' X 10' rug from Amazon. I was home. USPS driver delivered the other package to my front door, but not the rug, although it was in their package car. What gives? You can't put the rug in the mailbox and it wasn't full, and, I was home. read more

There's one carrier that is just awful and I know for a fact I'm not the only one that has had issues with her. She'll hold our mail for days at a time saying she couldn't deliver because there was a car too close to the mail box (which there isnt because I moved it up the first time she asked me to) or because our dog is outside (which is understandable for the most part) except there have been times that theres absolutely no reason that she can't deliver yet will still just drive off and make up some excuse as to why there was an issue. It's honestly just petty at this point and we can't put a complaint in without fear of them not delivering our mail at all. If I refused to do something I'm literally getting paid for my boss would fire me on the spot. It's absolutely ridiculous. read more

My mail is constantly delivered to the neighbor across the street and the neighbor that lives behind me. I don't understand why it is so hard to look at the address before you turn in a package or look at the address on the mailbox. They just put the mail in any mailbox and drop off packages at any house in the neighborhood. It is ridiculous and no matter how many times you complain it continues to happen. read more

I've lived a lot of places, been to a lot of post offices so from the bottom of my heart- this is hands down the WORST one I've ever had to deal with. There's one employee that's super nice and really helpful but the rest are rude and just straight up lazy. My roommates and I try to make it as simple as possible to make sure there's no issues with receiving our packages: we always try to make sure somebody's home, keep all animals inside, we keep the screen door and/or window blinds open so we can make sure to walk to the mail truck to grab our deliveries (our main mail lady literally REFUSES to get out of her truck) yet more than three quarters of the time they won't even bother to come all the way down the street, they'll just send an animal interference notification and leave it at that. There was also the time a friend and I watched one of the drivers back a mail truck into her brother's friend's truck, if it wasn't for the mail truck breaking down (literally right in my friends driveway) then he 110% would've just drove away without a single word. I just genuinely don't understand why it's so hard to do things you're literally paid to do. Do your job or switch fields so someone else can do it properly. read more

One of the carriers is HORRIBLE. She never takes another two steps to place packages in front of the door. She places them on the far side of the "porch", basically in front of the garage door where everyone on the street can see a package sitting there, but I can't. Doesn't ring the door bell or anything. Other carriers from the same Post Office deliver items in front of the door, try to hide them from the street and ring the door bell. I've had the unfortunately pleasure of having the horrible carrier deliver some very expensive packages, some which she just throws towards the porch. I've called the office and complained, and even asked the carrier politely to please deliver my packages in front of my door, and her response was, "I just need to scan the packages on the porch, and that's the porch." Unbelievable. These are expensive items, and package theft is insane all over. She has no care for her job, and should NOT be delivering! read more
