This is a larger post office, more function but also a bit gloomier. I appreciated the automatic opening doors, as I expect those carrying in parcels also would. The employees here are certainly helpful, but maybe not quite as enthusiastic (though my regular postal carrier, who I assume works here, is quite friendly and helpful. Also, I don't know if it is because of the location, or that people just don't mail stuff any more these days, but there is hardly ever a line. It is a tiny spot, not like the Post Offices in Down Town Albany, but it still has everything, and the Postal Workers at the counter are always pleasant. My favorite thing about this post office, is that they are open Saturday until 5pm. That is always nice when I need to take care of some mailings on the weekend. You won't find many other post offices open all day Saturday, which leads me to believe many more people appreciate and use this location. And, like I said, if going on a Saturday, I always pick a nice place to eat in the plaza, which has many.
