We subscribe to Informed Delivery with the post office so we can see what mail and packages are scheduled to be delivered to us. In this case, my wife had ordered an item online from a company in Salt Lake City, UT. The company provided us with a USPS tracking number, and we began expecting to receive the package as soon as for days later. Having the tracking number, we could see the path that the package was taking. After it left Salt Lake City it went to Westborough, MA. That took three days. It's my understanding that virtually all packages coming to Clifton Park, NY go to Westborough first. The next morning it was at the Albany Distribution Center. Based upon prior experiences, we expected to have the package delivered the day after arriving in Albany. However, that's when something went haywire. The same day it arrived in Albany it was sent to Springfield, MA. If that wasn't odd enough, later that day it was again sent back to Albany. It then sat at the Albany Distribution Center for five (count'em, ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE) days! I decided to visit the local post office to ask if they could look into getting the package out of Albany. This was apparently not a simple request. The clerk at the counter was more than happy to look into it but could not come up with any more information than I was already aware of. He went to a fellow employee, Dee Dee, for assistance. Dee Dee said she would contact Albany and call me with the information she uncovered. Sure enough, the next day Dee Dee called to let us know that the package was located and would likely be delivered the following day. On the new expected day for delivery Informed Delivery indicated that the package was out for delivery and should arrive by 3 PM. At about noon, Dee Dee called to let us know the package was out for delivery and fifteen minutes later it was in our mailbox. That was a total of ten days since the order was placed. But I want to take this moment to publicly thank the staff at our local post office for their perseverance in helping us receive our package.

She gave me soo much trouble that day and had me in a pissed mode. I left and came back everyday until Friday Valentines day trying to retrieve my packages and mail. I had a catering Event which I couldn't even attend because this lady refused to search for my packages when I tried giving her my tracking numbers. Each day the same rude lady said she dont deal with my kind, don't even come up here, I am not helping you. I asked to speak to a supervisor she refused me.
