You can't get a live person with customer service. They don't follow the directions of where to leave a package when delivering it. And I mean ever I've tried five times in the past month and they ignore what I say. Distinct directions are on the package label for the delivery. It is ignored. FedEx sucks. read more

This company has absolutely trash customer service. It's near impossible to get ahold of a live person, and when you do they just tell you to call the customer service call center or file a claim online. I've been trying to track down a package for 2 weeks now. I finally spoke to someone at another fedex office who contacted this location. They told me they finally have my package in their hands, they said they were looking at it and I could come pick it up. I drove over an hour here just for them to tell me it's actually NOT here and I need to file a claim. The guy working there gave me the number to call to file a claim, and after following a few of the prompts, he got tired of helping and told me to just do it online. 2 hour round trip wasted because he couldn't find the package in the back... after weeks of trying to track it down. The reason it was even at this location is because the delivery driver didn't attempt delivery again after ONE attempted delivery. Super frustrating experience overall. read more

My package was not delivered to my house!!! It was left in the SNOW bank right next to the roadway. I am a disabled veteran and have mobility issues. This is the first time that FedEx has not delivered a package to my home. My mail box is not even functional and is turned sideways so that nothing could be placed in it. That really doesn't even make a difference because the driver threw it on the dirty snow bank and it's now raining. This is food items that I was waiting for. The 1-800 number was NO help at all and I couldn't even call the main distribution center because no one would give me the number. Although there have been problems, mostly due to weather in other areas of the U.S., my experience has been favorable. I receive expensive, much needed medication which must be kept refrigerated. Only one time, in the years I've depended upon FedEx, has a delivery failed. Deadly storms made it impossible to retrieve the package from one of the Southern hubs. That's fantastic for an overnight delivery service!! I have had drivers arrange for me to meet them on the road to insure I have my medication in case I wasn't at home to sign for it. Not everyone has a good day, so maybe I happened to catch this Fed Ex store clerk on an off day. I went out of my way to come to this fed ex as the website said they provide for Sunday delivery. The package recipient's birthday was on a Sunday and I wanted it to arrive on her special day. The store clerk informs me that Fed Ex does not do Sunday delivery. Ok, fine. Maybe I misread the website (nope, I confirmed that says they do Sunday deliveries). So maybe she didn't know that Sunday delivery was a thing. Maybe that's the fault of her supervisor, but she also gave out her instructions in a dismissive, patronizing manner, such as saying, "sign here, sign here, sign here," in a rapid fire fashion when I didn't immediately react to her request, and when I told her an address was entered wrong, she said in an annoyed voice, "you didn't tell me that on the last package." Perhaps most frustrating of all, she wore her face mask below her nose for the entire transaction. We all know that wearing a mask all day isn't the most comfortable, but please at least cover your mouth and nose when you have a customer. I know I'll be hesitant to return here in the future, but the two stars reflects that possibility that maybe this employee was just having a tough day. I ordered frozen meat worth over $300 and they delivered it three after the delivery date. On three phone conversations Fedex ask if the content in the delivery was perishable with nothing in there system of my previous conversation stating it was. I totally understand we're in the pandemic and there is a shortage of workers. So the vendor shipped out the same order and again I just got off the phone with Fedex and they are saying it's not on the truck and will be delivered on Monday making it four days after the delivery date. If Fedex can't make there deliveries on time why bother staying in business. Fedex you could spend that $700 on training your employees how to at least lie better. ***UPDATE*** The delivery came (Monday) yesterday and I denied the package. Fedex guy was nice and even knew it was an old delivery. We told him that we spoke to Fedex customer service and don't bother trying to deliver spoiled meat to us. Today at 3pm another Fedex guy came and delivered the spoiled to us. He dropped off the box in front and when I called out and waved him down he just drove off. Now I'm stuck throwing out spoiled meat. I can't even leave the box outside since there bears out here. FedEx please file for bankruptcy you're a terrible company. read more

A driver had my package on his truck 2 days in a row and took it back to the office 2 days in a row, my package is now 3 days late, calling the 800 number you spend 20 minutes with an automated operator just to have her hang up on you, when you finally reach someone they are not in the US, can't speak English, can't transfer you to anyone else, all the above because it's against FEDEX policy. I am without my package still and no idea of it will show up tomorrow. FEDEX was paid extra money to deliver my package faster and it's later than if I paid for standard shipping. read more

Crooks. Driver said they dropped off package and they never showed up. Now in a lengthy process with Motorola to file a claim and I sitll have no phone. I am willing to bet anything that the driver stole my phone. He certainly did not deliver it, and if he said he did, whether he has it in his possesion or not, I still call it theft. I want to make a huge shout out of great ABOVE & BEYOND service to ALEXIS at FED EX Local Home Delivery! I was trying to find a place to drop off an important package for fed ex shipping. There is NO drop offs in germantown ( not even the dollar general that is supposed to take them) and I went to red hook and couldnt find them either and then I got Alexis in hudson who coordinated with a fed ex driver to pick up in 20 minutes ( the time it took for me to get home) and low and behold a minute after i got home afed ex truck came to pick up!!!! I wish they had more drop offs but the pick up service is amazing! ( and in general anything delivered by fed ex to my home is great and always on time thank you alexis and thank you fed ex! Well, the maintenance people at my complex told me that this jerk has been delivering to a random address because if they are heavy forget it. I called a number for FedEx and told them the story. Paid $28 to get toilet paper delivered during the pandemic and the driver marked it as "delivered" when in fact he was never even here. I have cameras and it never happened. The tape seals on packages are also frequently broken and I had a cosmetics case stolen out of a box with a hole punched in the side that I had routed for pick up at the Menands location. I also had a light fixture routed for delivery at Home Depot and it was "lost in transit." Their employees are just as bad as the people who walk around taking the packages off your porch, and probably even the same people. read more

No delivery!! Driver said no one was home. 5 people were at the location, there was no attempt. The driver lied about an attempt. I have made several complaints to Fed Ex. No action, and we don't know where the package is. Look at the other complaints. This Fed Ex location has drivers that lie about delivery. I expected a very important delivery on September 3rd, 21 and because of its value, a signature was required. I took the extra steps to put a sign on my doorbell so the driver would know which one to ring and I had 3 adults on the look out for the package. At 2:43pm i received notification that an attempt was made to deliver but there was no one available to sign. The driver never even tried to deliver! No one rang the doorbell! I called to complain and they said they would have the driver come back. Never showed! I called again, they rescheduled delivery for the next day. It has since been reschedule for "the next day" 2 more times since then. The drivers are absolutely awful, and their service is unreliable! I still don't have my package. They messed up and are not willing to go out of their way to make things right with the customer! Whenever possible, go with ups!!! Fed ex sucks!!!!! read more

I came home yesterday expecting a package I ordered that wasn't there. I checked the tracking & it said undeliverable, no address found. I checked for my mistake but in fact it was the correct address & information. I looked up the Menands N.Y. office & I got an 800# I called in India where I could barely understand the worst English ever. I explained I was reasonably upset & even google mapped my address & said the delivery person was to lazy or didn't even bother stopping & wanted to lodge a complaint about them. Well as u can guess I received no help from customer service via India and they dismissed their responsibility saying I had to contact the shipper & wait for a resend o.k. bye bye when they could of easily turned it back around. I will never deal with Fed Ex again they were very dismissive understandably since they are in India w no clue about U.S. shipments. OK so my smartphone broke and I ordered a replacement using fedex express on a Saturday and shipping time was estimated to be 2-3 business days. I had a trip on the upcoming Thursday so I figured no problem I'd have it by then based on the shipping estimate. Wednesday comes around and I logged into the tracker and see that the package arrived at 6:10 am and was "held package not due for delivery". I call up fedex and explain the situation Menands fedex says since that truck arrived that morning it was not scheduled for delivery until the next day (Thursday). I asked them if I could just come over and pick it up because I was going to be out of town for the next 4 days on business. They said no because it had not yet been "unpacked". I inquired a little further and they said that they don't "unpack" the shipments until the day they are "scheduled" for delivery, I was started to get annoyed so I asked them if it usual to have them say "2-3 say shipping" and not have something arrive for 4 days even though they physically have it very early in the morning on the 3rd day. They said it was scheduled for tomorrow and that was that. I said thank you, but now this is going to cause me inconvenience and money to work around not having access to my phone or emails easily on a business trip. Shitty service, I guess they shouldn't privatize the postal service if we'd be relying on companies like fedex constantly. PS: The according to the tracker the package went from TN to Menands, NY in 14 hours time. And sat in a box in Menands 8 miles from my house for 30 hours. read more
