Yesterday, I went to the post office with about 50 small packages. Six of these packages were extremely important, so I requested that they be listed on a separate receipt; however, the staff refused, insisting that only a single receipt could be issued. I hadn't violated any rules or done anything wrong whatsoever; they simply didn't want to do the extra work. Consequently, they used various excuses to harass and obstruct me--illegally refusing to serve me--and told me to go to a different post office instead. Their so-called manager and a colleague named "Stardust" were incredibly rude, shouting loudly right there in the office. When I attempted to reason with them, they threatened to call the police on me. They also spouted all sorts of incoherent nonsense that I couldn't even understand. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION -- RACIST & RUDE! This girl is beyond unprofessional. I waited in line to send an express package, and when it was finally my turn, she hit me with a nasty attitude saying she "didn't have the label" and to "move" because people were behind me. The self-checkout wouldn't even let me enter the full address, so I had no choice but to get back in line. When I got to her again, she rolled her eyes and said, "I already told you I can't help you, what don't you understand?" Unprofessional, short staffed, incompetent, and time thieving federal employees. This is the worst USPS mail office. Horrible experience. I received a salmon colored slip in my mail box for a missed delivery. The next day I go down to the USPS office off of S. Rainbow/Warm Springs and spent 50 minutes of my time waiting for a USPS employee to retrieve my package. Even got to hang out while the employee went on break for 15 minutes. When the employee came back she looked surprised to see that I was still waiting for my package. I requested a supervisor to provide additional assistance. The supervisor could not find the package. The supervisor took down my number and said she would continue to look for my certified letter, as it turned out.(Unexpected letter too, I don't even know who the letter is from.) I waited two days due to the weekend before returning to the USPS mail office to see if the certified letter was found. It was not. The supervisor still could not find it and gave me her name and number so I could call next time before driving back over for a third time. That was Monday. I waited until today before calling the USPS office. It's lost! The solution was to hope it got returned to sender somehow and maybe the sender will send it back. I can't even. WTAF. If you have to go to this location, prepare your mind for absoult failure so you can curb the disappointment you'll experience later. "May the odds be ever in your favor." P.S. I checked my ring camera on the date the USPS said they attempted a delivery, and I have proof that they forged documents stating that they attempted a delivery. No one from the USPS office stopped by my residence the day before, of, or after to deliver a certified letter. Falsified government documents are reportable to the USPS OIG office under fraud, waste, and abuse. If you experienced this as well and have documented proof, report this USPS location to the USPS OIG office. If there are enough reports, the Office of the Inspector General will send a team to this location and perform an investigative audit. This is the only way you can ignite change. read more

One, maybe two, on a good day three people at any given time is working. (I know it's hard to find workers...) This location is a stone cold NIGHTMARE!! It looks dirty and unkempt. A little paint might spruce it up. The lines are never less than ten people long. It takes forever because one person is working and the other person is busy or on break. When you finally get to the counter the people are nice. So it's not about individual service. THE PACKAGE DROP OFF SLOT INSIDE HAS BEEN BROKEN FOR MONTHS!! GET IT FIXED! WHY CAN'T YOU FIX IT!?!?! I am seriously going to start putting signs in it. Ridiculous. It's literally been months. So people who have packages are jamming up the letter slot inside after hours. I tried to drop off an envelope that was larger and it wouldn't go down because somebody put a package in there blocking any mail that would be deposited. I was able to reach on and grab my oversized envelope and I had to TAKE IT TO ANOTHER LOCATION TO DROP OFF! A few weeks ago I wanted to deposit a check and some art in the mail. I went to the outside mailboxes by the road on a Sunday night and those things were jammed to the top. Why? Because could see packages jammed into both of them. Peoples bills and other mail was hanging out. I could have easily grabbed it. I almost took some of it in with me but I didn't want to mess with the mail it's a federal offense and god forbid if I lost a piece in my car somewhere trying to do a good deed. JUST FIX THE EFFING PACKAGE SLOT INSIDE!!!!! ITS BEEN BROKEN FOR TOO LONG!!! People are going to have important things taken. And if you are one of the culprits jamming up the letter mailboxes outside and the letter slot inside...be a decent human being-not the asshat that you are and take your package to another post office that can accommodate you big package, so that I, who has an oversized envelope not a whole damn package doesn't have to drive somewhere else just to find a slot for it to fit into. It's a government/federal place. It's open 24/7. There's always room for improvement. But like all things, it's highly dependent on the people. Some are A+ while others are way below average. What can be done? Post office scorecards? Score 0 or negative! Well, our home cluster mailboxes have gotten broken into a few times. Duh, the crooks are looking for checks & stimulus money. Due to covid & people not working, it took almost a year to get the group fixed. Meanwhile, all of us had to jaunt to the post office to get our mail. You either wait in line, or fume in a special queue called "Will call". Realistically, it's easier to just get a POB, aka post office box for $180 a year or $90 in 2 installments. There's small & larger ones with different costs. Don't be tardy with payment cuz they send back all your mail plus lock you out. Or in moi case, they locked us out, returned the mail to sender despite my receipt of payment. Colossal oops on their end with no recourse cuz there isn't. Score 3 If you do receive a package, you are left a knobby key for the abundant package lockers. They do run out of parcel room during the holiday season so luckily, I have a husband who goes there 3-5 times a week to collect all our stuff promptly. I like to go, the excitement of unknown stuff, love notes, even bills. But only if I'm in the area or expecting something. I could do without some of the attitudes when they can't find your mail or boxes. Score 3 Here, you can also apply for a passport. Most stuff can be contactless with a machine that weighs, takes card payment, prints out the postage label, & dispenses the receipt. Needless to say there's a lineup for this machine. But if you go overnight, very early, or late, voila NO one else is around. Score 0-5 Our tax dollars support the post office. I don't know if there's tenure but everyone says working for the government is a good. The same employees have been serving the public for years, until they retire. Huge parking lot. Two drop boxes are in the drive-through section, pickup is 5 pm. I rarely go to the desk because I really don't have the time to wait. I go here strictly to drop off packages that are already posted (usually, if we've been skipped over, at work). I like the receptacle because large packages can fit. If I need stamps, I use the self-service kiosk. It's always quick. I've been coming to this location for years. OMG. I walked into this place and the line was just absurd. there must've been over 20 people in the line I think there may have only been one person working at the window. Never did liked trips to the post office. It is not that the USPS employees are not nice, but the fact that the line is almost always long. So the task of sending out packages during the holidays is something better taken care of sooner rather than later. For simple errands like getting stamps or figuring out postage, it is best to use the kiosk (Automated Postal Center) that is in the room immediately after walking in the door. Usually there is no one using that terminal, and once you figure out the navigation of the menu, it will save you valuable time. If you missed the delivery of packages to your address and is directed here to pick it up, just ring the bell to get the attention of one of the USPS employees working in the back (there is no need to wait in line) and they will retrieve your parcel for you. Parking at this location is okay. It is getting out of the parking lot onto Rainbow Blvd that is somewhat challenging during peak traffic. Or you can opt to park in the nearly empty lot next door, where Burger King is the only business open, and walk over here. 3 stars. read more

I'm here to say to everyone....if your gonna mail something in a card like money, checks, or gift cards, then I would advise you to go to the post office to send it & get a tracking number, bc the USPS has thieves working for them & these thieves know when their delivering cards that have no tracking number on it & they feel the envelope is thick & something is in there, then they can put that aside & not deliver it, cause they will be opening it & taking what's inside, with no regard that the person it was intended for will not be receiving their birthday card with their birthday present inside!!!!! This is what happened.... Around January 20th, 2022 I mailed my nephews BD card w a gift card inside. On his BD which was February 3rd, I called him to wish him a HBD & I asked him if he got my card, & he said no I didn't . I thought that was a little weird as it 2 weeks to get to him & it was only going 2 towns over. I asked him to ask his mom to make sure she didn't get it & maybe forgot to give it to him, which he asked her & she said no we never received it. I live in Summerlin , & they live in mountains edge & mom said to me this isn't the 1st time this has happened to us , bc they have like a 3rd party deliver their mail. I thought it used to be someone driving their personal car & they wore street clothes, so you would never know that's your postman . But now I hear they drive some kind of small truck to resemble Amazon delivery truck & I think she said maybe on the side of truck is says usps, but again , it's not the white us postal trucks w blue on it so you would know that's the postman , so my thought to this is this...this 3rd party postal person knows he can't get caught stealing mail when he knows something is in there bc theirs no way to track it! It's a different mindset if you were in uniform & drove the white/blue postal truck, then they wouldn't be so apt to steal mail in fear that they could lose their job! When your in street clothes & driving your own personal car you take a chance bc it doesn't feel like you work for the post office in civilian clothes & driving your own car !! When I went up to the post office on Rainbow /spring mountain & spoke to the black lady who was a supervisor & wore big glasses , gives me an 800 # to call to file a claim, & when I called it, it was for Life Alert...the necklace you wear in case you've fallen & can't get up? So I finally get back to the post office yesterday 5/10/222 & speak to the clerk & told him my story & gave him the slip of paper that the lady wrote the number down on & told him it was a wrong number & he said that number wasn't even close to the numbers he just wrote down on paper for me to call & she's a supervisor???? The lesser busier post office in Las Vegas. For the most part, of all the times I've been here I haven't had to wait in line. With the current situation of the virus (as of writing this) they have installed plastic partitions separating you from the postal clerk. They also have the 6ft feet distance tape on the floors. No matter what time of day or what location you visit, you are always going to get a postal clerk that seem a little on edge (which is understandable) It's a post office, so don't expect much. Yet another disappointing encounter with the carriers from this post office. I was supposed to have a delivery on 10/21 and should have been delivered to my door. Instead, I get a card in my mailbox to reschedule delivery or pickup at post office (not doing that....2 hour line..). So I checked the card to deliver at my door on 10/22. Still didn't get it. So resceduled deliver for 10/24 to be delivered at my door. Carriers ignore the instructions, are lazy and don't care.......Tried calling that post office and no availability to talk to a person. I had a pleasant time, the lines moved, the staff was courteous even close to closing time. The convenience of this location is great. I like the fact that there is a drive up area right in front so you can drop off mail and you don't have to get out of the car. Ample parking is always a plus. No one enjoys going to the Post Office. It is notoriously a terrible experience. But with a little extra effort, this one, doesn't have to be quite so infuriating! My biggest frustration is that what should be a very helpful, time-saving, self-service mailing machine is actually only useful if you are sending mail in your own packaging because the Priority Boxes and Priority Envelopes are never (and I mean NEVER) restocked. I don't know if people are stealing them or if it's just blatantly forgotten, but on more than one occasion in my year since residing in this area, I have stormed out after finding the packaging slots bare. (*This is only after hours. During normal operating hours, there are usually Priority Flat Rate Boxes and Envelopes inside.*) There always seems to be a line to pick up mail or to send it and be warned, your credit card MUST BE SIGNED. None of this "Check ID" on the back, no. Your card must be signed or you cannot use it. There are a lot of homeless people that park themselves at the entrances. They aren't mean, vulgar or threatening in any way, but it is a shame. One often stands just by the doors and another parks himself, rain or shine, in his wheelchair at the gravel exit. Location wise...I drive past this son-of-a-***** almost every time. Going North, you have to u-turn to get going the right way and the actual entrance is past where you actually want turn, (aka the exit.) Unfortunately, this is the most convenient location to my home (despite it not actually being the PO that serves my neighborhood.) read more
