Eventually, I found the window and purchased postage stamps from the nice young man. At first, I just wanted International stamps... Then, I saw a stamp with a black bunny on display. It turns out that a book of those Baby Wild Animal stamps have just two bunny stamps... along with foxes and deer. Ahhh... they're all cute... let's get a book of stamps, too! My only complaint is that the service desk area is rather small and lines can get long rather quickly on peak days. I stopped in around the holidays and the line went from one person in the queue to 6+. The priority mailing items seemed to be in reasonable supply, but the first pen I used, didn't work (word to the wise, bring your own). Also, they don't have one of those automated mailing machines, so if you need counter help, make sure you verify the business hours. The staff was friendly, and seemed to be very experienced. Since the shipping options in Kahului appear to be in short supply, it's nice to see a post office with reasonable hours (they are even open on Saturday) and plenty of parking.

I checked inside the mailbox and nothing was in it and can only figure that the mail person left the package on the ground next to the mailbox. This was not the first time it happened, the last time we were lucky to have seen it before someone took it. Today we were too late. I have been waiting for that package for over three weeks and now its gone. So ANGRY!!! The delivery was at 4pm and I went down to check the mail at 4:30pm. Checked with my neighbors and nothing was there also. Want to say a big THANK YOU TO GAY, who is our regular mail carrier, she told me she was out sick the previous day. I knew it couldn't have been her. Gay came and helped me find my package which was placed in the neighbors mailbox. Can't believe the other mail carrier didn't check it good. So I want to give a FIVE STAR RATING to Gay for always being nice and our awesome mail carrier!
