Small hiccup on my part was discovered after we left. Chris was kind enough to call both phone numbers on my application to explain. Eventually, I found the window and purchased postage stamps from the nice young man. At first, I just wanted International stamps... Then, I saw a stamp with a black bunny on display. It turns out that a book of those Baby Wild Animal stamps have just two bunny stamps... along with foxes and deer. Ahhh... they're all cute... let's get a book of stamps, too! Since I was there, and the worker was so friendly, I asked where I could find Ry's Poke Shack... My only complaint is that the service desk area is rather small and lines can get long rather quickly on peak days. I stopped in around the holidays and the line went from one person in the queue to 6+. The priority mailing items seemed to be in reasonable supply, but the first pen I used, didn't work (word to the wise, bring your own). Also, they don't have one of those automated mailing machines, so if you need counter help, make sure you verify the business hours. The staff was friendly, and seemed to be very experienced. Since the shipping options in Kahului appear to be in short supply, it's nice to see a post office with reasonable hours (they are even open on Saturday) and plenty of parking.
