You…read morecould probably drive past it ten times and never know it's there, but It's tucked in the same strip mall as Dollar Tree on Pac Highway just south of Kent Des Moines Road. (You can also access it from 30th Avenue South.). But once you're there, this post office has plenty of parking. It also has weird hours. The hours on Yelp are wrong, and I suspect it's because you can't include split hours on Yelp. I've included a photo of the hours, I hope that helps. But it may not help enough... Can you go before work? Probably not. Can you go during your lunch hour? Also no. But, there are rarely more than a few people in line (I'm looking at you, Downtown Kent Post Office with your long lines!), and the employees are always friendly and efficient. For that reason, it might be worth it to find this little postal location.

Postal Services in Tukwila, Washington…read more.. Needing some stamps for postcards, I had to go to a Post Office. My niece suggested that I get stamps from Costco, but they don't sell POSTCARD stamps. Yup. This post office was really close to Costco anyway, so it wasn't out of our way! Plus, the service was SUPER helpful! The kind, friendly woman was very personable and asked where we were from. She gave me tips on where to eat nearby and where to go for a good view of the city and the Space Needle. She was sharp because she looked at my postcards, knew that I was a tourist and tried to help me find beautiful views of Seattle like those on the postcards! She went over and beyond! She asked of i needed more than ten stamps - because they are "Forever" stamps and the price will be the same now and forever... She's correct. I purchased 20 stamps... LOL! We had a wonderful visit and ate where she suggested and will go to the park that she mentioned! Thank you so much!

This specific location is literally the best post office I've ever been to!…read more Their staff is so nice, friendly, competent, fast, patient, and knowledgeable! I've had to ship to other countries for work and I had no idea how to fill out some of the forms, and unlike other locations I have gone to, in this location I received the most help without feeling rushed or anxious! It's also very clean and organized, and they have pens!!

This isn't usually my go-to post office because my experiences with the staff have not been…read moreparticularly friendly. That said, I do appreciate that the lobby remains open after business hours and offers a self-service kiosk, which is very convenient for those of us who need to ship packages after work. On my most recent visit, however, there was only one self-service machine available. The customer ahead of me was entering shipping information, and the kiosk was occupied for more than 20 minutes. Since the space appears large enough to accommodate another machine, adding a second kiosk would significantly improve the experience and reduce wait times during busy periods. The after-hours self-service option is a great feature, but its usefulness is limited when there's only one machine available. I hope USPS considers adding additional kiosks here--and perhaps at other locations as well--to better serve customers who rely on self-service shipping.

I am back updating the review for the passport renewal for my kids…read more I had to book a month ahead for an appointment, however you should also know that they do walk-in every Tuesday to Thursday from 8am to 9am, with 15 mins for each person. That means that they only take 4 applicants per day. Hot tip: come before 8am, as they will hand out a ticket for you to be seen, otherwise your best bet is to try another day. Unfortunately this renewal was not successful as the first, because I did not my bring everything that was required for my daughter so we went back for a walk-in. Luckily, we were first and I forgot her passport card, Thomas, the passport processor at the Renton Highland location allowed us to run home to get it while he process the others. I'm writing this review so I will remember it for next time. Also, if your minor is over 16 at the time of the application, it will be a 10-year passport, under 16 is only good for 5 years.

I am writing to express a concern regarding an employee at your location, Merna, whose conduct I…read morehave found to be consistently rude and unprofessional. I recently visited the post office to inquire about whether I had any mail. Due to my circumstances, I receive general delivery mail at no cost. I presented my identification at the counter, and Merna responded, "You do know general mail is not for the public." I explained my situation, but this is the second time she has made a similar comment to me, and both instances occurred in front of other customers waiting in line. I understand that there may be policies regarding general delivery mail, and I am willing to follow those policies. However, I believe they can be communicated respectfully and professionally. I found the manner in which these comments were made to be unnecessarily rude and embarrassing. This location has generally been kind and helpful, with the exception of this particular employee. I previously had a P.O. Box at this location years ago, and unfortunately, her behavior has not changed. I would appreciate it if this concern could be addressed. I am not asking for special treatment, only to be treated with the same courtesy and professionalism as other customers.
