fuck this post office. paid extra money for a package of mine to be delivered on a specific day only for them to say it was "delivered" when it never left the post office. was on call for over 4 hours for them to tell me I could just pick it up but the lady at the front desk wouldn't let me pick up the package cuz it wasnt "sorted out" for what she told me. was told that it will deliver the next day. couldn't deliver cause of " insufficient address" and now I have to wait for the next day to pick it up. wasted my goddamn time and money for this shit and terrible service. So I was suppose to received a package from this carrier, they put it was delivered yet I did not receive anything, the lady Lucy stated that maybe the carrier just put delivered but did not deliver that day. They lost my package then she brought her supervisor Esmeralda, which she was not helpful, first of all she came at me rude, she stated I would received a call back from her at 4 when she speak to the delivery driver, yet she never called me, she stated her boss was going to be at work tomorrow, yet I came in today and he was not here, I do not know but they need to find my package! My package has a valuable price. Oh and last thing the ladies decline, calling their boss to tell them I needed to speak to them,! I spoke on the phone with Asha and she was so incredibly kind and helpful! We weren't able to fix the problem but she gave me the answers I needed to get an answer. I also make my money orders here often and the staff is always as helpful as they can be an accommodating to other customers with language barriers or disabilities. No post office is going to be perfect let's be honest but these are honest, hard working people trying their best and it's greatly appreciated! read more

Had a brand new gaming monitor delivered to my home today. ( item is like $700) And for some reason, the delivery girl thought it'd make sense to just leave this big box, that clearly shows what the item is just inside the gate without even ringing a bell. The least you can do is walk 10 extra feet to the front door and place it out of street view. Im sure if I wasn't home at time of delivery this item would've been stolen. Let me just say that this review is based solely on their courier service. I ordered something through Amazon that I needed for an upcoming road trip my wife and I are having and it was scheduled to be delivered on Saturday. I usually have my stuff delivered at work but I needed to get it sooner. Well surprise, surprise...I never got it. And when I tracked it online and showed as delivered at 12:56 p.m. How the hell do they know what time it was delivered when they don'd even have those scanners like FedEx or UPS does. Mind you, this is the third time this has happened THIS YEAR so far. I called and like the other times they asked... "have you checked your neighbors mailboxes?" Umm...do you not see the address on the mail and match it with the house number? No wonder the USPS is losing money and business. I will make sure to not have anymore orders delivered through USPS. I would rather pay extra for another courier. read more

Can I just say that I get excited to go to the United States Post Office? Don't ask me why but I love the smell and get excited to ship things off like textbooks that I sell on half.com or the randomness from eBay. The service here is really good but can sometimes be rushed. It's been the same 3 ladies for many many years and they seem to know all the regulars. Last year they closed the lobby on Sunday's and it isn't open 24/7 because too many hoodlums vandalized it. It's a pity because sometimes I need to get my Blockbuster and/or Netflix envelopes mailed at odd hours and I can't always do that when the lobby is on lock down. read more

Irma is the best at this location! She definitely knows how to save the customers money when it comes to shipping out packages and is very helpful. This is a pretty busy location because every time I come here, there is not enough parking spaces in their parking lot so I have to find parking on the side streets. read more

Stay away from this post office if you can. Try the one on Seville better. This place has awful customer service! My girlfriend was sent a package from out of the country which needed a signature at delivery. Since none of us was at home and she gets out of work late, she signed the back of the slip and wrote my name as the person authorized to pick up her package. The forms allows this given that I take her ID and mine with me. When I got to the post office I spoke with a lady who was really rude off the bat. I thought I was at the DMV for a second. I explained that I was there to pick a package and had the note plus my gf ID. She stared at them and said that they looked forged. I told her it was signed by her indeed, but she said ONE letter was off and she wasn't going to hand me anything. Before I could show her my ID with my name and our SAME address she rudely almost threw the slip and ID back at me and said "I already said, I'm not giving you anything" yelling at me. Next day my gf went back. Same lady gets her form and ID and, without checking anything, goes to pick up her package. What happened to her detective work then? I didn't want to make a scene so I asked another employee if someone who is authorized in the slip by the recipient could pick up the package anytime and he said no, NEVER allow it. Only the recipient can ever pick up the package... In other words none of them knew what they were doing. What's the point on having that option on the slips?? read more

It's best to update your store hours. I got there at 5:40 and the lady that looks like a Debra said it was closed , The store hours say close at 6, fix it pls , because there was some guy who had the similar problem when I walked in and he said he's coming back with eggs (horrible guy) , so be careful and stay safe read more

I would really like to give this place only 1-star because their parking lot is HORRIBLE. Not enough spaces to begin with but add on people who will park on the side, handicapped spot, and an absolutely unforgiving narrow exit, i just hate going in and out of here. I'm leaving this place with a 2-star only because the service was REALLY GOOD; in and out relatively quickly and they are open until 5pm. read more

They always have good service at this post office. What has happened through out the years is that they've been cutting personnel at front desk. To the point that they only have one attendant working now. When ever I stop by there is always a line. If they add one more attendant I'll add one more star. read more

Stopped on my way home from work, had to wait 10 min for the cashier because she was busy packing a lady's box and applying the tape. Really wtf have the person step to the side and do it herself like how I see everybody else do. Then someone jumped in front of me that wasn't ready from a previous transaction. This post office is assigned to my house and they always lose my packages. They give really bad service. If I order something online and it doesn't fit in my mailbox they send it back to the post office and they leave a notice in my mail box instead of coming up to my door and knock. They are so lazy I wish I could move out of this area already. Also, when you call them they are so rude especially this woman named Marshan(something like that). I almost wanted to flip out on her. I've never done that to anyone or felt the need to before. She has a bad attitude. Avoid this place no matter what!! Awful staff there!!! Terrible customer service!!!! I run there,, and was out of breath at 5:05, just to get a letter which required a signature. The mail deliver missed me at home. It's weird,but in that case, I should go to 2 post offices which are far away from each other: State St and Soto. Why is so, I do not understand!!! Everybody has just one office, but as for me, I need to go to both. So, I came there because it was indicated on the slip. But the staff did not let me get in, they were laughing that I needed to take 3 buses to come there. I was so upset. Then the one of the worker, read my slip through the glass door and said that is the wrong post office .Look, they left me slip at my door with their address.Now, she said, it's wrong post office. I can't even begin to describe how much I despise going to this particular postal office. The last time I went I was completely offended by the attendant. I was shipping a package that had gray masking tape (note: I've previously been able to ship other stuff w/ this kind of tape). Well I already had to deal with there only being one attendant who did not care about the line obviously because she took care of people that were walking in while the rest of us waited. When I was finally able to get to the counter this lady practically yelled to me that I could not send it because that tape is what "terrorist use". Now I would've understood if she had properly informed me but I grabbed my package and left. The other people there were astonished as to how she practically was accusing me of something. I'll stick to the post office by State st. which is closer to my home and has way better customer service! read more

The supervisor Lupe is unwilling to listen to any customers concerns. She is rude, not pleasant to speak to and i would not even bother asking for her should you have a issue. I asked to speak to a manager and after getting her on the phone i asked if she managed the Seville Post ofice and she then seemed hesitant to answer. I was nice explained my issue to her and she completly did not say a word to me and i had to ask a question just to get a answer from her. Never will i go back to this post office or for that matter any here in Huntington Park. read more
