And that was the manager. The photos they sent were not the correct size and both of the employees I dealt with did not know how to resize them correctly. This store seems to do a good job on everything except the digital photos. You pay your money you take your chances.

We contacted Carson Valley Movers regarding a move from Carson City to Sequim WA, after a glowing recommendation from someone who used them for a similar move to Sequim back in 2018. From the very start our interaction with Miki was as good as it gets. Miki came to do a walk through for an estimate which was quick and fun thanks to her personality. We agreed upon their services and then she even came by on her way from work to drop off some large boxes we needed for artwork and a mirror. Then Miki and Jim came by a few days before the actual loading of the truck to make an inventory list and then managed to load quite a bit then to save time later on. Watching to two of them was poetry in motion. I kid you not. Then when they came back a few days later for the final loading it was the same thing all over again. Then a few days later, Jim arrived with the truck in Sequim and with the help of a couple local lads unloaded everything safe and sound within a couple hours. In all sincerity you couldn't find anyone better than Carson Valley Movers. They truly made what felt like a daunting move to us at our ages being in our seventies far less stressful than we imagined when it came to their part in moving us to our dream location. If you need someone to move you for whatever reason, you would be crazy to not contact them right away. The good people at the Minden P.O. never complain, always bend over backwards for us. Even last month when we brought in 14 boxes of our junk for them to process. They were so obliging that they even suggested a less expensive way to send it. One of the fellows in the back lent us a hand truck to being the boxes in from our car. That was a Godsend. Jimmy was our contact for the only neighborhood U-Haul center in Gardnerville, Nevada…read more Before we moved to our destination address, Jimmy was great but only on the phone. When we arrived ahead of schedule, Jimmy's alter-ego manifested itself and he turned into a maniac. We wanted to to disconnect our auto transport trailer, back our small sedan off, and drive it and a full U-Haul trailer to our home in N.W. Nevada. Jimmy was uncooperative, terse, unpleasant, and rude. When he finally acknowledged our presence, Jimmy begrudgingly disconnected the trailer and we drove to our new location. One day later, the truck was returned with everything inside that we rented at the U-Haul in our state of origin. Blankets were folded, two hand carts were present, and the box was swept out and clean. Jimmy was there when the truck was dropped off, told my husband to leave the keys inside the cab, and waved us off. Two days later, I see a notification from my bank that more than $80 was charged to our credit card. Apparently, Jimmy didn't find the cleanliness of the truck or the manner in which the blankets were folded up to his standards. Jimmy also charged us for an extra day of rent for the truck, which was refunded by the U-Haul Corporate office. If I had known what a pain in my butt Jimmy would turn out to be, I would have driven to Carson City or Reno to return the truck. DO NOT deal with Jimmy! Give your business to another U-Haul dealer in an alternate location. Then make sure that dealer inspects the truck cab & box, fuel tank, and mileage before you walk away from your rental. Don't lose your hard-earned money to a fraudster who makes up reasons to extract funds on ridiculous claims (customer folded the blankets three times, instead of four times). Ridiculous!

When he arrived we let him know we were there to pick up a reserved U-Haul. He responded with "I'm not renting anyone anything tonight". When expressed confusion and frustration after waiting for his return only to be told he was not going to accommodate us things got ugly. He called my friend a Nazi, used the "F" word in front of other people including his preschool daughter. I will never recommend this place to anyone ever. We drove 20 miles to Carson City and rented a U-Haul with no problem. The sales man was kind, courteous, friendly and helpful. Don't waste your time at our local U-Haul. It's worth the extra miles to go to Carson City where you are treated with respect and the sales people go the extra mile to make it a pleasant experience,

(Perhaps she confused UPS with USPS ?). And Lauren A., what are YOU talking about ? First of all, there IS an external mail box set up for drive-by, mail drop off. As for your "not handicap friendly ... inside mail too far from entrance" critique, I don't get it. There is handicap parking directly in front of the entrance, and there are no steps to get inside, where the front counter is 20 feet from the door. You must be thinking of a different location.

There were people awake and even outside around that time and there is no excuse why I did not receive my package. I need this package by today and I thought USPS was a reliable service, but this lack of customer service explination and me not recieving the package shows severely otherwise. What I can assume, since the package was not delivered, was that it was stolen by the delivery personel. I also tried calling customer service and they hung up on me. The level of professionalism is very prevalent.
