They don't answer their phones during business hours, they don't have a way to leave voice mail, and they like to return your packages without notice and with a useless error code ("wrong address"). Horrible, bad, awful, terrible, useless. I'm so furious right now I'd vote for whichever candidate offers to defund USPS. --- BUT, after going inside I met Terry (90% sure that was his name). And Terry gets 5 stars all to himself. USPS was returning my packages left and right and every person at USPS - this store and the main office - told me 500 different reasons for why it was happening, but no one had a clue how to fix it and most said it couldn't be done and I was just screwed. Terry the savior gave me a form the size of half-sheet of paper, told me to write down 3 things (name, address, and signature) and he'd fix it all. AND HE CAME THROUGH. Packages arrive, mail arrives, all is well. Terry gets 5 stars, the phone services and rest of the office gets -1, so it averages out to 2 stars. They should give Terry control of the office and fire anyone who answers the phone. Or maybe I'll hire him.

Note that the hours listed are only for the office part. You can access your PO Box until 10pm. Pro tip: add your PO Box number on the second line of your address to make sure the post office accepts any packages that Amazon or UPS might hand off to them instead of delivering to your front door. From experience, FEDEX won't deliver to a PO Box address. They'll call you if you're lucky to confirm an alternate address.

(Perhaps she confused UPS with USPS ?). And Lauren A., what are YOU talking about ? First of all, there IS an external mail box set up for drive-by, mail drop off. As for your "not handicap friendly ... inside mail too far from entrance" critique, I don't get it. There is handicap parking directly in front of the entrance, and there are no steps to get inside, where the front counter is 20 feet from the door. You must be thinking of a different location.

They've improved the park - new slurry coating over the roads, new mailboxes so the post office can deliver more efficiently, decent plowing in winter, good water heating and insulation so we don't freeze out, good tenant management - they're trying to improve the park environment and some units need more encouragement than others, they also encourage improvements (contest for nicest front yard...), they have free donuts on Wednesdays, they re-did the pool tiles and keep it CLEAN and nice. It's still a multi-unit park and there's a few bad apples / neighbors to deal with - I'm just thankful that the park management (Gary) is working to clean it up. Good amount of children here - we like the energy they bring. This place is a life hack for a livable place in Lake Tahoe (almost no property tax, decent rent for what you get, and nice neighborhood for the most part). We highly recommend living here!
