Times say lobby is open until 8pm yet it's 7:20pm & ALL doors are locked & chained . I specifically came here to use the self service kiosk machine and drove half an hour only for it to be chained shut at 7:20 PM when the doors say lobby is open till 8 PM and USPS self service kiosk online says it's open till 8 PM.

I've been trying to resolve my case for over a month now, going back and forth with USPS employees and customer service, reopening a new service request whenever they close mine without resolution. Every time I believe I'll receive some resolution, nothing happens or service reps will give me the go-around. The employee(s) who make the follow up calls with customers from this location needs to be retrained or replaced. I didn't get her name but she was not helpful despite me being polite and trying to explain my situation for the nth time. She just stated the USPS damaged mail policies that I've heard countless times by now and didn't know what to do. Did not apologize and just hung up after stating she'll need to speak with some people (which I do not believe for a second. She just wanted me off the phone). All I need is some email/documentation (LITERALLY ANY OFFICIAL LETTER OF SOME KIND) about some items being damaged upon delivery. I have a hard time finding time to go to the post office because of work and they will not accommodate a simple request. I've said countless times, I'm not looking to file a claim through USPS but rather with my vendor, as this is an international parcel. In order to receive compensation, I'm attempting to go through the vendor as that's where I purchased insurance from (and USPS claims there's no insurance on the package on their end so they won't be able to do anything anyway). This postal office and USPS as a whole does not/cannot seem to comprehend this nor will they provide me the thing I need. It's such a simple request and I'm floored that this is still going on for a month and I STILL haven't gotten resolution. Attached photos of unopened parcel having arrived smashed. USPS claims they cannot prove that it was damaged before arriving at my doorstep.

As good as a post office is going to be. There could be a lost package or a super long line here and there, but most of the time this location is well staffed and has decent service. UPS loses more packages than US Mail in our experience and UPS doesn't let you talk to anyone anymore. So we've found the US Mail to be the better service so far.

Usual Federal facility. Ample parking. Usually 4-5-6 customers, line moves along relatively fast. They sell box supplies and basic shipping stuff. Greeting cards are available to your favorite buddy. They must have had problems at this location to install bulletproof glass to protect federal employees. Right on Redondo Beach Blvd! Across from Bank of America.

Is anyone else having issues with the Gardena USPS with packages being marked as "delivered" online but the packages actually are not delivered?

Have you had any luck on finding a solution? I moved to Gardena last year and some my packages and mail say they are delivered but are actually not. My bank charged me a fee for my statements being sent back. Package tracking showing Its delivered… Read more

The main issue is not the process itself, it is the way customers are spoken to. I understand that employees are not expected to be overly cheerful, but there is a difference between being neutral and being condescending. On my first visit, I picked up an envelope that ended up being out of the price range I needed. When I went to put it back exactly where I found it, the employee told me in a rude tone, "that is not where you found that." It absolutely was, and I had placed it back correctly. It felt unnecessary and dismissive. During that same visit, I was filling out an envelope and asked a simple question about labeling. Instead of being helpful, I was told in a rude tone that I "could have just filled out the back." I am not familiar with USPS processes. I usually go to UPS where they handle labeling, so I was just asking for guidance. Today's visit was similar. There was no greeting, and I was told my package could not be sent as it was and that I needed a different envelope, again in a blunt and unpleasant tone. I made a small mistake on the address and mentioned I would pay for the envelope I had to redo. The response I got was, "why did you fill it out after you already stuffed it," which was not even what happened. Regardless, comments like that feel unnecessary and judgmental. For context, I am nine months pregnant and just trying to get through simple errands. I am not expecting over the top friendliness, but basic kindness and respect go a long way, especially when someone is unfamiliar with the process and simply asking for help. I will likely have to continue using this location, but I really hope there is some improvement in how customers are treated. A more respectful tone would make a big difference.

It's also mostly empty when I arrive. If there is a line it normally moves fast. There's a huge parking lot in front of the building, and if you drive too fast you'll probably miss the entrance. I think this post office is better than the one on Gardena Blvd - That one always has a line, it can be difficult to find parking, and wait times are normally low.

Hello there , My name is Mihaela Hrisțodor . I saw I had a miss call from you and VM . You ask me…read moreto come pick up my package . Well...I was there and regardless that EVERYWHERE you advertise your hours : M-F 9am -5 pm , at 9 am when I was there ? A girl start yelling at me, from inside through the window, telling me you guys open at 11. I faxed you attaching my maps history showing the time and the fact that I was there . Here is the issue : my husband went late to work that day to give me a ride there . I can't ask him to take a day off ( as at 11 am , with the trip there and back , his work day is almost gone !) to give me a ride mam'! AGAIN! We have bills to pay. So for this reason and not only , I also mentioned that in the fax I sent: please (!!!!) mail that package to my address : 2023 S Corning St. , Apt. 7 , Los Angeles , Ca 90034 . Please do that and will comeback here and give you a great review as you deserve if you understand the situation and realize : Is not my fault ! I was there ! The hours? Every place I looked says 9.00am . You don't know only when you are the door that you are open at 9 yet not for packages ! I never heard that one ! You can imagine how I felt , seeing I made my husband go late to work , drive more then an hour to reach there ( rush hour right ? ), for nothing ! I tried to explain to that girl and she was yelling at me , showing me some schedule on the door. She didn't let me say a word! I left extremely disappointed and....yeah ....so please! Is not that I don't want to come there. I have no transportation anymore, so please mail me the package. I gave you a three stars as I don't know yet what you'll do. But I know what I will do : will write or a good review here and to your executives or a complaint . Sorry ...is really up to you . Thank you This site is great ! I just learned that you can post pictures too ...So yes, there is the screenshot I took that day ! And as you see , was last Monday. So please do not send the package back, out of state! Please send it to me as am here in LA! Call me or email me if you refuse to ship it to me . I looked for different options .. a Uber there? Would cost me a lot ! So best is to please , ship it to me at the address above . Thank you . P.S. : If I see you rather ship it back , which is out of state , then to me , to a Los Angeles address? I will see that really evil, as I paid money to order that. The vendor won't be happy , I won't be happy , and ultimately ? You won't be happy as will file a complaint , sorry ! Sending it back ? Really doesn't benefit anybody ! You have to send it out anyway , so I don't see why wouldn't you rather ship it where it was intended to be! I hope you are understanding and a nice person . I am sorry for any inconvenience that this may bring to you, and all I can say is that I will rather send a letter to headquarters letting them know how great you are ! That would make all of us happy ! You know ? God bless us all as he teached all of us to be good people ! And now that I mentioned God ? Would like to post a screenshot from a video I took , to show you that God is truly really real!!! P. S. I didn't lost my car that night , but I lost it soon after . Is a different story . Will refrain ...as is irrelevant . But I have to explain now so you know : I lost my car . So I don't have transportation there . Sorry but I have to mention this, as I just saw the pictures posted here with regard to your schedule ( see attachm) , pictures that fully support me !!¡

I have been trying to resolve an issue since early November, and it's been a long and frustrating…read moreprocess with no resolution in sight. My mother-in-law sent a birthday package to her son from Italy, ensuring it would arrive before November. However, my husband waited, and nothing arrived. Upon checking, the tracking information showed that it had been delivered, but to the wrong address-- a large box! The post office claimed they had retrieved the package and placed it in the "back" area, and my husband was told he could pick it up. When he arrived, the package was no longer there. Only certain employees have access to the "back room." One employee, named CHRISTIAN, told my husband to sign a receipt acknowledging the package had been received and promised it would be delivered the next day. My husband complied, but, of course, the package never arrived. Makes me question if Christian knows what happened to the package or took advantage of my Husband's anxious attempt to get his package to sign off any fault. This all happened on November 7th. Since then, we've been calling, visiting, and emailing everyone I could find in hopes of resolving the issue, but nothing has worked. The manager, Shanice Adams, did attempt to help, but in the end, there was no resolution. She issued a letter accepting fault, but I can never reach anyone for follow-up. At this point, we have no choice but to visit our local Post Office, but I am deeply disappointed in the service we've received in Inglewood. These kinds of issues highlight the broader geographical disparities and inequalities that certain areas suffer from, and unfortunately, our local Post Office seems to be the worst example of this. If anyone has any suggestions or advice, I would greatly appreciate it. I just want to get this resolved. Moreover, I am unable to file a claim online as the package was sent from Italy. My Mother-in-Law can't file a complaint because the package is marked as delivered.
