Well, I legit do not understand why this post office can't deliver packages or anything from Amazon. I live in the new KB homes development, and UPS, and Fed Ex both deliver, but post office won't.... Claiming there is no way to get here due to construction. Ummmm I literally drive into my garage, and there are a ton of other ways to drive in... I did once have an Amazon envelope delivered in my mailbox, open and empty... I guess the Moro is rain or snow can't stop the mail, but a 10 foot walk, on sidewalk is a dealbreaker... oh can't forget when they held on to an out of state package for god knows how long without telling me. Thank god my dad let me know it was sent, because they won't I guess. On the bright side the post office building is in a pretty area. read more

I was waiting for a delivery to give to my granddaughter on her birthday. The tracking said Olot was out for delivery that morning at 7:52 am. Waited all day for it, only for you guys to let me know you attempted to deliver it, but there was a problem at the front door. Do not believe it for minute, as I did not get any mail delivered either. But you're getting better at raising your prices. You should be ashamed of yourself. You guys are terrible !!! I will never again have something delivered by you again, and I will tell others about my experience, be sure of that!! read more

We have locked boxes in our community and we still come across some mail that has been partially opened. I've tried calling and calling but have had no success. We also always get mail that's meant for our neighbors. I finally went in and the desk person couldn't provide an answer for me. Lastly, we received a package a few days ago. I ordered a facial oil but I guess it ended up breaking during shipment. However, the mail man still stuffed my broken package in our mail lock box along with other important mail thus creating a huge mess. There was oil all over my other important mail (bills, DMV, state letter)! I'm so frustrated. Why couldn't he just leave the package by my door instead of allowing it to get all over everything? read more

My mail is constantly delivered to the wrong address. I called the local post office at 805-524-9332 and nobody answers the phone. This is a privacy issue. I was able to reach someone at the Fillmore post office and speak with them in regards to my concern about their failure to deliver a package or leave the notice. The question of why no notice showed up was not answered, but I did learn that, contrary to what the USPS web site would have one believe, they do not return a package after 3 days but keep it there for (I think she said) 2 weeks, and furthermore, the attempted delivery notice is not required in order to claim a package. The recipient just needs to go in to the front desk, tell them they have a package, give them the address, (and I assume some proof of identity), and they will find it and hand it over. Good to know. I wish that would have been known in advance as my friend could have gone in already to retrieve it. Monday if she is able to get her package as planned it will be a case of 'all's well that ends well'. read more

I have a small online business that requires shipping orders across the country and globe regularly and the man and woman I have encountered here have been extremely helpful. They always help me find the cheapest way to ship my packages and are always very kind to me. I don't think people appreciate usps workers enough and the endless hard work they do. read more

Drop a 2 day 3:00 pm quarantine delivery envelope -very important letter at fillmore post office . 4 days later never arrives and tracking shows it was sent to Santa Barbara office, return to fill more and that's it. No more tracking after that. What's wrong with this post office ? Inefficiency or worst someone taking packages? Horrible customer service. The guy that is usually at the counter is no help and actually pretty rude. He acts like he is doing you a favor.

I had my key stolen with my belongings, went down to the fillmorw Post Office paid $85 for a new key a week later they have not changed it they said they would do it once they had the time the gentleman in the front office was very rude and racist so I asked for my money back said that he would give me a money order and there but was an able to cash it he just made me stand in the second and the second line waste my time I never got my money back horrible service at this location. Worst post office i ever experienced and i'm 70 years old. Missing mail, packages, packages not delivered so must pick up.. been like this for years and everyone i talk to complains and nothing gets done.. i have another home in another town near by and it's great so must be this manager. read more

I have had a few problems, most not so bad, but this one has me a bit concerned. I receive some prescriptions via mail and the other day I received one of the plastic envelopes my meds normally come in, but it was open along one side and it was empty. Not sure where the problem occurred, but it's disturbing to know a supposedly secure system is experiencing drug thefts. I occasionally receive mail addressed to others, but it's only once every couple of months. I usually just put them back in the outgoing box and not worry about it. read more
