This review is for Mr. Alex Webyu, Supervisor at USPS, Lehigh location. I want to personally thank you for going the extra mile for a package intended for my nephew. The package made its journey from San Francisco via USPS to Colorado (twice) over a three week span. My nephew recently moved, and by timing (luck), it was on its way back to the Englewood post office ready to be sent back to California. When I reached the Supervisor, he took the time to track, locate the package at the center and said "It will be here safe and stored for your nephew - just ask for me". I cannot thank the level of service and care from Mr. Webyu. Everything is managed through a chat bot these days, but Mr. Webyu stepped up and delivered great personal customer care. US Post Office - Post Offices Near Me - Englewood, Colorado

I go to this post office 5 times a week. Rick and the other counter people have always helped me. My issue is the carriers. When I look on the USPS web site, I should be getting mail everyday. MY carrier delivers no mail 3 days a week and then 7-11 pieces come all at once. And when it does come, it is between 6-10 PM at night. I tried to do a PO Box but it is worse, because the supervisor I had was rude and incompetent. read more

Shawn and Ricky were openly rude, judgmental, and unhelpful, but more importantly, their behavior was blatantly racist and discriminatory. The way they spoke to me and treated me was disrespectful, hostile, and completely inappropriate for a public service position. This location has a serious and ongoing problem with employee conduct that management appears unwilling to address. This was my second visit to this post office, and both experiences were equally horrible due to these same two individuals. After reading other customer reviews, it is clear this is not an isolated incident, but a recurring issue that management has allowed to continue. No customer should ever be subjected to prejudice or judgment when accessing basic services! Change of address gives me error message since I've tried to correct my mistake online (i've been to two locations so far- one person tells me to try again at a different location) . When in person to hopefully fix it. Manager and service attendant gave me attitude for making a mistake. Old dude that works the counter, I'm assuming the same one people have been complaining about for almost a decade now after reading the reviews, is a problem. Either is a total jagoff and likes to ruin as many people's days and mail as possible, or he's truly senile/debilitated and unable to do his QUITE simple job. Had a package delivered and "signed for by front desk", he claimed he was unable to find it, swore up and down, recommended I get a tracking number which I then pulled up only for him to say "that one won't work" without even typing it in anywhere. All this to get the package reordered for free, only for the same exact things to happen with the second, replacement package. Pretty pathetic. Paid for a PO Box only for it to be essentially useless, but only cause some old dude makes it that way. read more

This is a the worst office as a us postal service! There is no point of this location being open, you can't get any customer service. They don't want to do their jobs and quite frankly you feel inconvenienced because you happen to stop in because they're forcing you to pick up a package because they will not deliver to your door. I'm sorry when you're paying for postage for a delivery is that not supposed to be from door to door? And don't even try to pick up your package or go in if you're a few minutes before closing time because they literally guard the door and tell you they are closed sir it is not 530 yet! There should be an alternative available to the public for general mail service and stop forcing us to endure this crap because of a zip code! read more

I've been going to this post office for three years and have only had a pleasant experience with the woman who works here. She's lovely but the two older gentlemen always give me a hard time with my letters and today was the final straw. I have sent 150 wedding invitations with the proper postage no problem out of this exact post office and today I had to send two more and Sean/shawn who works there told me it was going to be $5 each to send them, gave me the runaround, and was rude as always. I went to the USPS down the road on Broadway and they put them through the test and everything and were able to ship them no problem and told me that the guy was just giving me a problem. I will not be using this post office anymore, and I hope this review will encourage others to use the Broadway post office instead for much more pleasant experience. read more

I would be giving this location 1 star if it wasn't for the customer service of one of the employees that works here. He worked with me ahead of time to figure out shipping costs & was very patient & kind. When I was ready to bring my shipments in, I had to ship 2 relatively large boxes halfway across the country (around 45lbs each). The guy who processed my packages that day had apparently been working there for ages. I remember his name, but I don't feel comfortable calling him out directly in a review. Not only did he roast & berate me for being "high stung", while also trying to come across as an older, wiser person giving life advice to a woman - right in front of my boyfriend, he also effed up my shipment. See, instead of paying attention to what he was doing while literally talking down to me over his eye glasses, he punched in $1 instead of $100 insurance value on my shipment. I paid an additional $2.65 for $1 insurance. I didn't check the paper receipt until later in the day & I didn't want to go back down & refute it, especially in front of the guy who was giving me crap for asking questions & trying to make sound decisions about these packages that are important to me. I just kept my fingers crossed. It's not the money, it's the principle. So, ironically - the package that I insured for a higher dollar amount that he plugged in correctly made it to the destination mostly unscathed. The one that he screwed up was ripped wide open down the edge of the box & items were exposed. I don't know if anything was lost or stolen & I won't until I get to my shipment later next month. On top of that, he tried to convince me that going "ground", which was a little cheaper than priority, would take 7-10 days, even though the system was saying 3 days for ground (same amount of days as priority). He kept driving it home to me - I still went ground. & yes, it arrived 1300 miles away in 3 days. Unfortunately, one of the packages was severely mangled & busted open. I will be reinforcing the edges with strapping tape on future shipments, moving forward. That all being said, I think it's time for that older fellow to retire. He's a problem for USPS customers & something needs to be done about how he speaks to people, especially while he's working on their shipments & potentially messing things up in the process. Side note - I called my local UPS store, gave them the zip code, the box dimensions & weight of the same shipments I went through USPS with & UPS quoted me $30 less per shipment going ground & it also comes with $100 insurance, no extra charge unless I want to up the insurance value. Arrival time is 3-5 days. They were courteous & answered all my questions. Which were, in fact, appropriate questions. I have a few more shipments to push out & needless to say, I'm done with the Englewood USPS location. That guy who processed my shipments gets off on condescending to people & in the mean time, tries to scare you about shipping timing so you'll choose the more expensive option & doesn't pay attention enough to process your shipments properly. I recommend shopping around first before assuming that USPS is always the most economical option. read more

Avoid this place at all cost. The people inside seem like they try to do their best not to help you. You might even wonder if you are part of a candid camera show, and that all they do can't be real, but it is reality, and not a joke. I will not go in detail about all the things they do wrong and I am not allowed to mention names, but it is always (since I came here the first time more than five years ago) the two old men, as other people stated earlier. Seriously rude for no reason. I brought in a return with a QR code and instructions that no bag or box would be needed as they would take care of it. Thank goodness I at least brought in the bag because the clerk wouldn't take it until it was taped. I tried explaining that it was a QR return and he motioned to a sign behind him that said "we are no longer able to provide free tape". Again, it's not like I had a random, unpaid package. I assume mail services get some compensation from the company the return is going to when they sign on to a service like that? If not, they shouldn't have signed on to begin with if they are going to be petty about it. He literally waved his hand in my face and started talking to the person behind me when I was in the middle of trying to figure out why they aren't following the return instructions I was given. I even tried showing him my email with instruction but he refused to look at it. Needless to say I ended up paying $5 for 2 pieces of tape because he wouldn't even let me use the label to seal it. I haven't been to a post office in years (especially a usps since I ALWAYS have issues with them). I do everything online however this return gave me no other options. I thought it was strange because I've heard of Amazon and ups doing this but never usps. I suppose that's still true considering the treatment I received. Be wary of returns through usps as they aren't holding true to their commitment. Not that I'm surprised. This is also the same post office that randomly decided, after having lived in my current apartment for 4+ months, that is was vacant for some obscure reason and managed to lose $7K worth of my checks because they stopped delivering my mail. He tried telling me they stop delivering mail if the box fills up, which it never did. The longest I've ever gone without checking my mail is 2 days. Incompetence is bad enough alone but when paired with rudeness and excuses it's just unacceptable. read more

Post offices are not generally fun to go to. You know that up front. That said, this location is terrible! Every time I've gone, various days of the week, various times of day, there's always a long line. If you're lucky there might be 2 employees helping customers. Often I've seen just 1. Employees are nice enough but there is zero sense of urgency in what they do. I much prefer the office on Broadway & Floyd, but you can only ship from there, not pick up. Occasionally I have packages I need to sign for so this location is my only option. read more

He rang the bell twice for someone to come help him. No one showed up. There is no self help post box here either so you will stand in line and wait and wait and wait.... This is the worst postal system in the state. I have had numerous letters and packages stolen or go missing. I live in an apartment complex that doesn't have parcel lockers. But our delivery come so consistently late, that our office is closed, so do you think they take the time to deliver your packages to your door? Hell no! They give it a "no access to delivery location." Really? Cause my door is about 50 feet from where they deliver. They could also leave an orange card saying it's at the post office for pick up, but no they decide to keep it and try again the next day, when the office will be closed again. And none of these packages are things that need to be signed for. You can leave them at the door. I know this because I use to work for the post office. Not this one thank god. But when I was there I was told "if it didn't fit in a parcel locker and it doesn't need to be signed for, you deliver it to the door, even apartments." You know how many times I didn't have enough lockers for packages? And I delivered every one that didn't fit to the door. I also now work at an apartment complex in Denver, and I watched the mail man today drive through out complex and deliver packages to our residents door because our office was closed, so why is is so hard to do it in Englewood. There usually seems to be less of a line at this little, tucked-away-in-a-warehouse-park USPS Location. However, being a smaller location, they don't have as many packing materials as other locations, and not as many employees, either. So. When someone "Calls out sick" and it leaves the front desk with one person working, the line can build. To their credit though, the employees seem to be used to that and at least apologize for the delays and are pleasant. read more

I've always had a positive experience with this particular post office. The staff are a well spirited and down to earth kind of folk. You'll get your occasional long and slow lines, but this will happen at any location- it's something to be expected. No reason to dock points from any US post office for a thing like that. I haven't written a review in ages but I just could not help myself with this guy here. My company has had a PO Box here for over 25 years. This year they neglected to send us a notification requesting a renewal payment. When they called us to insist that we need to pay immediately they were unable to take a card over the phone. What? This is 2018. I never cease to be unsurprised that the post office is going under. When I went to pay it they charged us a $22 late fee. When I asked the clerk if he was really going to charge us the late fee he asked why we paid late, to which I repeated that we had not received a notification. Then he said "Watch this. I'm going to give you a notification right now." And then he circled the expiration date on the receipt. This is a date a year from now. So they don't send out renewal notices or they do or they were supposed to do. I don't know. Maybe I'm supposed to hold onto this receipt for a year. Or perhaps this is just another way for an organization that sucks as a business to find ways to make extra money since they can't do that by being good at what they do. The post office was started by freaking Ben Franklin. They've had a really long time to figure it out. But UPS and FedEx as KILLING them right now. Because they suck. Always. Please Amazon. Never send me anything via USPS. Seriously. They're the worst. And the clerk working there was a total ass. When he pulled his smartass bull with the receipt I said "Wowww, you guys really suck at this." He told me to watch my mouth because I was in a "federal building." Dude you work at a post office. I dropped off packages with labels to this post office. All of my packages were delivered with no contents or the wrong items in the package. I have never had this problem and will never drop another package off at this place. Not sure if the employees were trying to make a point or what. I don't understand why most post offices seem to be understaffed - especially around the busiest times. Like 4-5pm, or the holidays. The line is 12 people long right now and only one person is working the front. At least the employees are friendly, but this is ridiculous...the line is now 15 people long. read more

It's a post office that no one seems to use or know about. There was a guy standing in the lobby thinking it was closed because there was no line to see through the closed door. This post office is what nightmares are made of!!! There were 2 female employees working on a Saturday afternoon and the line was out the door as I walked up to mail a small flat rate box. One of the employees seemed friendly (she cracked a half smile ) the other was a crotchety old lady with a permanent scowl on her face and an incredibly sour attitude. She was being so incredibly rude to customers! As I was waiting my turn I was hoping that I would get the lesser of the 2 evils standing behind the counter. Unfortunately, I got the bitch from hell!!! She was so awful and unhelpful I ended up leaving without sending my package and said I would rather go to FedEx instead. She rolled her eyes and huffed and puffed the entire time, and yelled after me that FedEx is more expensive as I left! I will gladly pay a higher rate if it means I never have to encounter this spawn of Satan agin!! I was so flustered I didn't catch her name. I will NEVER use the USPS again based entirely on my interaction with this dreadful woman. She clearly hates her job and how she ever got hired to be in a position of customer service is beyond me. This experience inspired me join Yelp. In general, ignoring people demonstrates very poor customer service. Maybe if somebody is out of hand or raising their voice should employees revert to that tactic, but that was not the case with me. Some people are perfectly nice at this post office, but the supervisor I spoke with wouldn't even answer a simple question (how often do the carriers switch their routes,) even after I asked her very clearly, 3 times. She just kept blowing it off as if there was something socially wrong with her. This happened with the carrier as well when I was asking him at which post office he would be leaving my mail. The USPS at 915 W Lehigh Ave has a staff with very poor customer service skills. On my final day visiting this office, I went to pick up my mail that I had placed hold during a move. The form I filled out stated they would hold our mail for thirty days. When I went to pick it up two and a half weeks later, the person at the counter seemed pleasant. He went to look for my mail, but when he came back, he looked angry and spoke aggressively. He told me that they had held my mail for ten days then sent all the mail back undeliverable. When I asked why, he berated me while not answering my question. Another employee brought in the manager. I spoke with the manager who explained that when a person moves out of an address, the post office will only hold the mail for TEN days and not the THIRTY days stated on the form I filled out. He stated that was the policy of the USPS. I replied, "I'm Joe Nobody. I don't know the policy of the USPS. I only know the form I filled out stated I had thirty days to pick up my mail. To help other people in the future, it would be appreciated if your employees could inform the person filling out the hold form that your office will only hold their mail for TEN days if they move out." The manager said it wasn't their responsibility to inform people of that. I tried to explain these unpleasant situations can be avoided if they would adopt education as their responsibility to help pursue high quality customer service. I also stated that the policy should be on the form that I filled out as well. Unfortunately, I feel he probably will continue with business as usual and this will be a repeated scenario with another disheartened customer. read more
