I accidentally dropped off a FedEx package with them, They claim they gave it to FedEx and FedEx claims they never recieved it from them. I have called multiple times to try and track down my package, the employees have been highly unprofessional, screaming at me on the phone, and not even trying the slightest to give me answers. I keep asking what my options are, who I can contact to try and retrieve my package and they have no answers for me. I have never recieved such unprofessional service from anywhere in my life. read more

Zero stars. Weeks go by with no delivery of mail, then suddenly the box is full of envelopes post marked a month ago. Packages go "missing" and it takes an hour of standing in line for terrible customer service, and no answers. The attendants at the counter have no communication skills. This is literally the worst post office I have ever been to. I read these reviews before going and didn't think that it could be this bad, but now that I've interacted with them on several different occasions I'm shocked to find that it is. The service is incredibly slow both at the post office and with work orders. It is especially frustrating when there is a long line of people waiting and there seems to be no sense of urgency from the staff behind the counter. Because the service is so slow you can never go in and just "grab your mail." Multiple times I've been turned away and told they can't help me today because they are closing the post office even though I arrived 10+ minutes before the post office was scheduled to close. Not only is the service at the post office slow, the work orders are even slower - I put in a request for a lock change (as I just bought a condo) and they have had the work order for over 3 weeks. When I called to ask when it would be changed, they told me it normally took two weeks. I again stated that I had put the work order in 3 weeks before hand and he said "well, I don't know. call tomorrow" and hung up on me! He was so rude and dismissive when I am just trying to get my mail delivered so I no longer have to go in and deal with his insufferable, slow ass! This is seriously the most frustrating and aggravating experience ever. Moral of the story, avoid this post office at all costs. read more

Wow! What's with all the bad reviews? I mean, we all hate the government, but there are far worse publicly funded programs out there! Actually, I found my experience at this PO to be just peachy. This is very close to where I work, so I can drop mail off from my car on a break and it's hassle-free. And this part isn't their fault, but when I have to go inside the line is generally nearing the door. Still, the two or three workers manage to get it moving at a decent clip. Going inside any post office is never fun, but they do a good job and I'd imagine many find the location similarly convenient. read more

The Glendale P.O. mail delivery is absolutely the worst - and I've lived all over the States. The mail delivery is always late since the regular lady who used to have this route was given another route. This very pleasant woman always delivered the mail by around noon. Last week, two guys finally delivered the mail around 6pm. Then someone came back around 7pm to finish the job. We always know when the mailman delivers the mail because he slams the box doors loud enough to wake the dead. It's now after 6pm and no sign of the mailman. After the Labor Day holiday they might deliver the mail sometime today, sez the person who answered the phone at the post office. They also failed to deliver my mail-in ballot for the general election. No sign of it when I tracked it online. Great job! They don't forward mail either. Signing up online for a change of address was an exercise in futility. Bad news when they don't forward your bills. Better to make sure everyone has your new address and not rely on USPS "service". I feel sorry for the clerks at the post office. They seem understaffed and there's always a line but they've always been pleasant when I was there. My business office is located in Glendale. The postal delivery is done thru a bank of post boxes in the basement of the office building. Each box is clearly marked with suite number and last name(s) of suite occupant(s). Twice in the last week, our mail box had mail delivered that should have gone to at least 5 other suites in this building. None of them ail was for us. Bruce, at the Glendale post office, answered the phone when I called to complain. He stated that our regular mail carrier was out on sick leave. Apparently that means the post office hired a substitute carrier who couldn't read and didn't know the first thing about mail delivery. Waiting to speak with supervisor. read more

This is my area post office. All my packages are received here. There are a few employees who are kind and treat you like a human being that is using their business (government or no, it's a business), but customer satisfaction is clearly at the bottom of the list here. A few workers are absolutely rude and it has been understaffed every time I visit. Also, they have lost 2 birthday presents that were sent to me. 2!!! And they did nothing but check in back to help me out. One was an $80 dress, that I never received from over a year ago. So in the end? The only post office I've been to that is worse was in Chicago. read more

I dread going to this office, but it's the most convenient location during business hours for me. What is going on with Ron, the clerk who works here? Every time I'm waiting in the SLOW moving line, I'm just hoping the other counter opens up when it's my turn so I don't have to deal with his bad attitude. He yelled at me today for asking him about the different options that I read online to certify mail. He literally got angry as if I was questioning his future-advice (because he hadn't suggested it yet) saying that he knows better than "what some guy writes on the internet" HAHA, you mean the official USPS site? sheesh, and concluded the better option is to select the more expensive Certified Mail option. Uh, so why? I just want certified mail. What does he care? He's not working on commission, is he? Ugh, I was scared to death to ask him to borrow a pen once he finally complied with my request to offer me the cheaper option that i saw online. I just can't understand what his problem is. 2 days ago, I was excited, I was having a good day. I had 14 spiral books, the postal employee asked me what is in your package, "they are books," I replied while on my cell trying to get an address. She felt the spiral binding on the books and immediately said could I look at your books? I am black and 98% of the cars in the parking lot were foreign like my Benz at that moment in the middle of the day. Maybe if she seen my car I would not had been discriminated against. Did she just assume all black people are liars? She either assumed I wanted the media rate because I am black or she assumed I was lying about the content of the postage because I am black? I never asked her for the media rate so why was she attempting to look in my packages? I have been sending out spiral books for 8 years never had a postal employee attempt to inspect my packages on site because of the hue of my skin If you are black with spiral books avoid the Glendale Post Office, never will I go back there again! They should have a NO NEGROS allowed signed posted in this post office! BTW: my aunt who works for the post office said I was discriminated against as well. Can I drink from the same water fountain in the post office as the white employee who wanted to inspect my package without any reason? Proper training needed at this post office - lack of customer service skills and tact - outright discrimination! Thought I was in the 60's for a moment! read more
