From the moment I arrived, the experience was extremely disappointing and upsetting. One of the employees at the front counter was on her cell phone and immediately asked me to speak to someone else. The second employee was not helpful at all. She repeatedly went back and forth between another room and the front counter, then returned with a piece of paper listing information I apparently needed but did not have. She threw the paper toward me and said that's what was required. When I told her I didn't understand what it meant, she responded, "I don't either--figure it out." There was absolutely no empathy, professionalism, or basic customer service shown, especially given the sensitive nature of why I was there. This interaction happened in front of other customers, which made it even more humiliating. When she threw the paper and the death certificate back at me, I immediately left and told her she was being very rude. It is incredibly disheartening to walk into a business seeking help during a difficult time and be treated as if you are an inconvenience or incompetent. Unfortunately, this appears to be the only location where I can handle this change of address, but the lack of compassion and respect shown was unacceptable.
