One of the women helped me weigh all of my items in advance to help me determine the cheapest way to ship them across the county. She was taking her time to help another man also. They suck at delivering packages on time now. Idk what happened they used to have this sweet old lady who delivered packages on time without fail but ever since she left it's almost impossible to have them on time. Whenever it gets too late--because they're weren't on time they don't even attempt to deliver your package and use the excuse of "animal interference". Hire people who actually need the job bruh, idk wtf they're doing. This has happened so many times already and I'm sick of it, someone let me know if I can change what post office my packages go to. They claimed to have tried to deliver a package but didn't leave it due to lack of security but claimed to have left a note, neither is true since we were at Home (both car by garage) & got security Cam's (even sign's saying we got Cameras) No one ever should up. By chance I found out I needed to reschedule a delivery and did so for the next day. 3 days AFTER I am here at the Post Office, having to pick up my shelf because despite a Manager claiming I get it by the end of day it still wasn't there. FRONT DESK cuts me off when I try to speak to a Manager then gives me a wrong package (mine but not one I been waiting for) even tho I had to give her the tracking 2x and when I informed her about speaking to a Manager anyway I heard laughing in the back and I been waiting ever since (10+ min by now) I suspect they want to let me wait till I leave. No big deal, every Manager got a Manager, I just follow chain of command. I should charge $25 giving I did their lazy behinds job for 2 packages and it only took me 30min, not 5 days. read more

Beware of using the USPS Hold Mail services! I use the online form and I state that I will pick up at the Post Office. And almost every time I go to pickup, we're told we have nothing there to pickup, and usually within 1-2 days we receive a bunch of mail in our home mailbox. Today I asked where is our mail and was told it was "probably" in the delivery vehicle, and then I asked WHY is my mail being driven around for WEEKS, especially when I clicked the box saying we will pick it up at P.O. And sometimes I want to pick it up earlier. The P.O. clerk's answer was that the driver does this instead of sorting through everything - something like that - It didn't make sense to me. The next time we hold our mail and if we go pick it up and we're told there's nothing there to pick up, I will make a report to the US Postal Service Inspector's office because maybe my mail was stolen. However the USPS wants to justify their procedure, I say my mail being lost or misplaced then found time after time is UNacceptable. But. It is the USPS. Or is it only this location. IF it is the fault of the delivery person not adhering to USPS policy & procedures, I suggest one or all of the following is needed for Zipcode 28215: Training, Supervision, Newhires. read more

We have lived in the same house for 58 years. My husband is 90 years old and we have been getting his medicine from Optum Rx for 20 years. The post office keeps delivering all our mail to different addresses. Four large packages from Optum, which had the correct address was delivered to the wrong address in January. Then yesterday March 24 they delivered two packages containing medicine to different addresses. We go for days with no mail and then receive some marked with received at wrong address. Today we received an e mail that the medicine was delivered but not to our house. This is very important. Some one needs to answer the phone. no stars. read more

This post office sucks. The employees are lazy and incompetent. Several times they fail to deliver a package that is on the truck for delivery. Watched the same truck deliver mail twice in a day to my house and not bother with my package. God forbid someone needs they're prescriptions through the mail. Marked package as undeliverable because they didn't want to walk up my driveway(this has happened several times). My post lady is a very sweet lady but I have no clue when/if I'll get my mail. I'm currently waiting on mail that was mailed out last Thursday. I know for a fact that it was mailed out. I like this place mainly because its close to where I live. Staff is usually pretty friendly, although it feels like they are sometime UNDERSTAFFED. Anywhoo, its a post office, with all the materials and resources one would expect to find at a post office. Be weary is you are going here before a major holiday to mail a package. my problem is not with this post office, its with the delivery of my mail. there is no reason why my mail should be coming to my house at 8 or nine at night. i had a message that a package was delivered to my house at 7:44 last night. it was not because i checked at eight and then forgot to ever check again. this morning the email saying it was delivered. i checked and it wasn't there. no mail was there. i tried calling them for four hours to ask and they won't answer the phone. so now i have to wait till monday to find out where my package is. and at what time will my mail person come. who knows. 7, 8, 9. we never know. read more

Would like to know why there is no postage machine in the lobby? It would definitely save time waiting in line.

If you're in a hurry you may be very frustrated. depending on the day and time you could be in for a long wait. If you hit it just right and there is no line you could get in and out really fast. Otherwise, the line could be to the door. For speed I would give this location one star. Frankly, if they were moving any slower they would be going backwards.... But for helpfulness, courteousness and giving you their complete attention (ONCE YOU DO GET TO A CLERK) they would get five stars. Once you get to the counter the clerks are very thorough, professional and very helpful. They listen to your requests or concerns and take care of you and give you their undivided attention as if you're the only person in the world. That is why I had to average it out to four stars. I guess you can't have everything. Do you want it done fast? Or do you want it done right? It's the post office. Apparently we can't have both. I don't mind them being slow as long as stuff gets where it needs to go! read more
