I want to give this place 5 stars but some of the sorters/carriers steal stamped mail. Can't even send a greeting card or receive one without either it being stolen/undelivered or opened with undesired gift card sliding out. My sister didn't receive her greeting card across country this month and my $25 grocery store gift card was falling out the envelope last year. The grocery store gift card came across town. Any good people out there anymore? I shouldn't have to get a tracking number for a greeting card. The stamp(s) is enough. read more

This post office goes from 2 stars to 4 stars depending on the day and who is at the counter (and if that person is in a mood). I rarely think it is actually 3 stars, but it keeps vacillating between the two so you can expect an equal number of 2 star experiences to 4 star experiences. Strange things I notice: they run out of certain stamps early. Don't care that much about Batman vs. Harriet Tubman, just letting you know sometimes there are slim pickings - slimmer than at other locations. They have plenty of supplies and you can get some for free if sending the proper rate. If you need to pickup a package go to the side door with the doorbell. Make sure you get a persons name before they leave the window - in the event they never come back. read more

Call me Crazy but I do not mind coming to this post office. The line will sometimes be long, but the staff definitely keep the line moving fast. I come here to mail packages, purchase stamps and on one occasion try to find a package. It was a mail carrier error but they did their best to fix the issue and I had my package the next day at my house. Learning the process of what needs to be done before you get in line will save you much time and headache. But if for some reason, you don't have the necessary items done - they will tell you to fix it and come back to the front, skip the line. How courteous of them right? read more

I came in yesterday afternoon to purchase stamps. Every time I visit a post office, regardless of the location, I brace myself because I always expect to be treated like dirt. Customer service, in my opinion, has never really been high on their list of priorities. Well, they proved me wrong yesterday! I stopped to get myself something to eat on the way, just to help with my patience level. When I entered, it wasn't too busy. They had hip-hop Christmas music playing and the staff was all wearing Christmas hats. They seemed to have great energy amongst themselves as they were seen smiling, laughing, and joking while helping guests. They also helped each other when needed. The line moved fairly quickly and they had the same warm energy with each customer they assisted. I left feeling good and was rather surprised at how friendly and helpful they all were. I'm hopeful that this is the new norm and I can expect a pleasant experience during my visits moving forward! read more

Professionalism is not part of the make-up with this location. Customers should not be put in a position that requires them to debate with the employees over service deserved to them if we follow their rules or process. If the office does not close until 5pm and there are NO signs explaining that counter services cease at a certain time before 5pm, how is it professional to tell a customer that they can't be serviced because it is 4:50pm. Furthermore, if a customer was in the door before 4:35pm and they were preparing their package to be shipped, the employees want to argue with the customer saying that he was not in line before they cut off customers in line (4:50pm). This location has more negative than positive reviews. Treat people the way you want to be treated and understand, we are customers and we didn't ask you to choose this line of career. read more

This is my local post office in my neighborhood. Every time that I visit this location it seems to be pretty busy and there is usually a line. The building itself is older and looks a little run down inside. But it has everything you need from the post office as far as shipping supplies. They also have a self-serve kiosk for stamps which I try to use whenever I can to avoid any interaction with the staff at this location. The staff is usually less than friendly and sometimes borderline useless. Some of them you can tell have just been with the post office forever and do as little as they can while they collect their government paycheck knowing it's near impossible to fire them. I have had a couple of issues with delivery of mail at my home and gone in to discuss the issue with management who basically told me I should have stayed home and called and there was nothing she could do. I also HATE my local postal carrier. The woman has messed up delivery of packages multiple times. Packages that I paid an ADDITIONAL amount to have arrive on a certain day. read more

I use this location quite a bit, always at different times throughout the day and I can say that they are swamped with customers from the minute they open until they close. Horrible! They are totally inefficient, had problems with my Hold Mail Request 3Times out of 4! Deliver mail day early one time, and Didn't hold mail 2 of the times! Told me that rather then do the request on line I should come to post office and fill out their yellow hold form! And then they even delivered the mail of 5 neighbors with my hold request receipt rubberband with some of my mail!!! So I had to make another trip to returns all my neighbors mail!! They promise they will call you back but they never do. And they don't care about all these screwups. The ONLY one who is professional and efficient is Pam. Slow, incompetent, and rude customer service! I dreaded coming here pre-COVID now it's only worse. The employees have no sense of urgency and could care less there is a line out of the door lots of side talking and chatter amongst the employees. For over 10 minutes I patiently waited by the side door waiting for someone to come to the door to ask them for my hold mail it wasn't until I asked an employee if someone could help me she said no one is available and I needed to get back in the long line out the door! She made eye contact and saw me standing there not sure why she couldn't say something 10 minutes before that. Then when I finally get to the front to ask for my hold mail of course they can't find it. The employee didn't even write my address down she just mumbled something and came back and said it's not there contact customer service. 3 weeks later I am still not able to locate my hold mail and I specifically selected online that I would pick up the mail read more

For a post office, it is what it is. This is a full service location. Had to get some items sent with a return receipt, so I stopped by here. There was a line, per usual at this location. The postal workers are nicer than most, but I'm convinced that some of the folks really are retired MIB agents and trying to act normal. Just a little dry. Nevertheless, they move at an optimal rate and are patient answering what is probably a question they've answered 5x that day. Have your ducks in a row or they'll send you to the side to get it together and service someone who IS ready to be serviced. It's best for all involved. read more

I have tried to call this post office numerous times however the phone is consistently busy, seemingly left off the hook. In calling the 800 number, after enduring a litany of menu items, none of which address my issue, and attempting to insert the only number on the 'we missed you slip' and it indicating that this number is not valid, I tried several different options from the menu. I finally was able to seemingly have an option (with the 800#) to speak with an actual human being only to be told there is an over 30 minute wait to do so! I have 2 parcels to be delivered. I left the notice in my mailbox requesting redelivery. Today that same notice indicated the package was too long for the mail truck. The mail truck is longer than my vehicle so how does the post office assume I am to secure this package? The post office has access to more types of vehicles than I, therefore it would appear the post office would find a vehicle in which my apparently 'long package' would fit, and then delivery it to me! I am very frustrated since I cannot speak directly with my post office and I cannot insert the only number available on the slip to where it would be accepted either on the phone or online, leaving me no option other than driving to the post office and waiting there to hopefully speak with someone who could resolve this issue, all of which has and will be taking up valuable time that I need to devote to other important issues. Certainly there ought to be a more efficient way to resolve this type of problem! read more
