There is a small parking lot on site which is much more convenient than looking for street parking. The employee packaged up the electronics securely in a box. He told me it would cost extra, but better a professional do it than me if things were going to arrive in one piece. The price was reasonable, and he provided the tracking info and itemized receipt I needed. I didn't have to wait long and got done what I needed.

They say just leave it here and your photo is your receipt. Well, I returned an iPhone to Apple here and stupidly didn't take a photo. Apple never received it and since it was never scanned into the Fedex system, I was out over $800. From now on, smaller items go into the Fedex dropbox a little bit further South down (and on the other side of ) Valley. For larger items, I bite the bullet and go to Kinko's in Clifton. When possible, I ship at the UPS Store. I am not accusing the staff of taking my phone. Someone else could have bene dropping off something, recognized what was in there, and pocketed it. I don't see how Apple can't block the IMEI or serial number as stolen, but they didn't. In any case, I am out $800 because I couldn't prove I dropped it off and until I hear from Fedex that a photograph is sufficient proof or Montclair Shipping Plus changes its policy to "scan when asked," I will not be dropping off anything at this center and I strongly discourage anybody else from doing the same.

Unbelievably disappointed in Fedex customer service and usability…read more I'm not typically one to leave a poor review, but after the multiple poor experiences I've had.. I feel I'd be doing injustice to others if I didn't. As a business owner I have very little time for shenanigans. I work with clients in the mental health niche and trust is a very important part of our relationship with each other. When the shipping provider I put my trust in, not only fails to keep their word, but makes it nearly impossible to send and receive products in a timely and reliable manner, I have no other option but to recommend ANY other service provider. This year alone I will send over 1,000 4 pound packages and 10,000 letters. Next year, my projections on that number will more than triple. I would have like to have someone I could rely on to help me service my clients. UPS has given me a much better experience since I've made the switch. I highly recommend putting your trust in them. Their customer service it outstanding and they always deliver on time and with a smile. 10/10 for UPS.
