Alicia's unprofessionalism is a result of her believing that there are no consequences for her because she works for the USPS. There has been multiple occasions where I witnessed Alicia using USPS labels as a name tag for herself. She does not care if she has 10+ people waiting in line. I don't normally do this but I just spent 39 minutes sending ONE letter with Alicia as the worker helping me . Normally go and drop off my LETTERS ( the exact same letters , same size same content, no tracking ) and it takes me maybe 2 minutes , today I was first in line and she told me I was wrong then proceeded to say exactly what I said at the beginning that everything was in order and I was good to go . Ridiculous . She has a bad habit of " correcting " people then saying the exact same thing you said from the start to not admit she's wrong. I didn't fuss I just let her go on , I'd appreciate as a former postal worker & veteran myself if the post office trained more competent employees so this location would be more appreciated. read more

I requested my mail to be put on hold starting on December 26. I made this perfectly clear to the guy at the counter. He even highlighted it and said "This will make sure she (the woman who delivers the mail) doesn't start it early. I had Christmas presents that were delivered to the Post Office December 23 but guess what? SHE STOPPED DELIVERING MY MAIL THE SAME DAY! As I write this I do understand the post office is prehistoric and should be avoided at all cost. However it is still used heavily by a selected few and this post office has the longest wait time. The postmasters are nice but at times too nice as they chat and explains every single aspect of mailing when the line is already out the door. They often seem confused on basic transaction and with only one employee working, the guest frustrations runs rapid. One simple fix is to add stamp machines in the lobby, that would limit some of the wait as some customers are there just for stamps. Another fix is to staff more than one employee to help with the line. They average 10 mins per customer which is not productive for any business. read more

Zero stars!!!!!! What the heck is wrong with the lady up at the front. There is a friendly man and young women that work there and normally they are fast moving and very good at their job. Today I walk in there are 5 people in line and it did not move for the next 40 minutes I was standing there. This older African American women is rude she talks way to much to the customer in front of her and he just takes way to much time. This is the post office not the dam dmv. She is completely HORRIBLE I WISH I GOT HER NAME BUT I WAS SO ANGRY I HAD TO LEAVE. People have jobs and things they have to get done in a day. If this is the kind of service we get than we should be able to schedule an appointment since it takes her 1 hour to help one person!!!!!!!!! read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. They've lost my packages 3 different times. The first time they gave it to the next door apartment's and I personally had to go over there and get my stuff back from the people. I left a note on the people's door and they not only opened my package but they were also using it!!! My package was something that's couldn't be replaced but by the grace of God I got my things back!! Like I get they're probably tired but dang they could pay more attention to the addresses on the package cause they definitely wouldn't like if someone was to do something like that to them. read more

This is by far the worst post office I've been to and I've lived all over the country. Not only does the delivery guy leave my mail box wide open every single day like he's advertising what I have in there but there is one lady who is always working in the office. She is the slowest, rudest postal worker I've ever met. Several times now she has messed up my packages shipping. After this last time I tried to go back up to get it fixed only to find they had just closed 10 minutes prior.. I knocked on the door and held up my receipt only for the manager to look right at me, and turn around and go into the back. I wish there was another option but alas no fed ex or UPS here in grand ol' Cal City. This is also the only post office that has ever tried to charge me to use the priority mail tape when shipping priority. I will say there is at least one guy that works there who is polite and fast. Sadly I haven't seen him in a while, only the previously mentioned woman. read more

Mail delivery is bad, mail person handed my mail to the kid next door which I don't care if it's a beautiful Sunday morning and the kid wants to do his good deeds or know the kid or for whatever reason this Saturday was don't hand mine or anyones' mail to any person but the mail box. It's common sense & yes I know that the post office is closed Sundays. Also at the postal office i stopped by yesterday because I wanted to return and over 30 minutes of standing in a long line it's slow and all for her to tell me I couldn't get a return label to a package that came packaged from usps which if I'm wrong I apologize but I'm sure they could have gave me a label. I clearly asked her while passing by how much were the return label's because she had told everyone to have the payment ready and she rudely ignored me and I stood in line waiting when all she could had said then and there we don't do return labels but any ways read more

Save time & do all your stuff online. If you physically go inside you may have to wait an hour, or more depending on if that 1 unfriendly clerk is at the register, or not. You can call ahead to check. The 1 rude employee is just as unfriendly on the phone as they are in person. If you prefer to save time & not have to be presented with a bad attitude by someone who gets paid to help you don't go here. I made the mistake a few times. read more
